Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comunicar no instagram em tempos de pandemia: um estudo de caso do Sesc na Região do Norte(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-03-28) RODRIGUES, Samara Sarmanho; LIMA JUNIOR, Walter Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2230911862328122; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0678-7062The covid-19 pandemic affected people and organizations on a global scale and social isolation, imposed as a safety measure, had a major impact on the world economy. From this, society as a whole needed to adapt and organizations needed to take their communication to the digital environment in order to maintain interaction with their audience and minimize the damage caused by the pandemic. In this way, Social Media, with strong growth during the pandemic period, were essential tools in this process, as they allowed the relationship between the company and the public, seeking to reduce the distance caused by this atypical situation. The problematization of this study concerns how the Social Service of Commerce (Sesc) in the North Region used Instagram as a tool to disseminate its programs in the area of culture and how its communication strategies were changed with the advent of the pandemic, since activities ceased to be face-to-face and began to take place in the digital environment. In this sense, the present master's research seeks to analyze how the covid-19 pandemic modified Sesc's communication strategies on the social media Instagram during the years 2020 and 2021. This study is characterized as mixed methods research (quantitative and qualitative) of the multiple case study type, as it analyzed the seven Sesc in the North Region. First, through exploratory research, publications in the Instagram feed were analyzed in general, and also those related to the area of culture, obtaining data for carrying out the quantitative analysis, as well as for the qualitative analysis. The qualitative character of the research took place through interviews with a semi-structured script with the communication coordinators and their subsequent content analysis. The result found was the intensification of the use of social media as a general communication strategy with the public, in addition to these media serving as a tool for publicizing the institution's various activities and programs. The highlight was the social media Instagram, which was the main social media used and the one that brought the most results for the regionals during the period studied, including the dissemination of activities and programs in the area of culture at Sesc.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Instagram: entre o excesso de imagens e a fluidez da memória(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06-10) AZEVEDO, Thiago Guimarães; SAMPAIO, Valzeli Figueira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6142863342585522This work aims to understand the relationship between image and memory in the universe of Instagram. For this, we first checked the universe image and its interaction with the individual, dialoguing with the modifications as its constitution from the development of technology, especially mobile devices like Smartphone’s and tablets, the primary means by which one can use the Instagram. With that, he stressed the relationship of individuals to network with actors who work in areas of interconnection, however, we find a referral to an individualized relationship with other social actors, where the groups are assembled self -referential form and thereby, relations become more fluid and less face. Thus, the memory from the relationship with the image, in particular, those which are derived from technological aids such as, photography is also affected, as which corresponds to a construction of collective memory, since the act recalled through the photographic image is marked by this type of relationship, the group sitting around the image to reminisce. At the present moment, when the image becomes digital and instantaneous, this relationship is lost and the group passes lead to the individual, then the posting and sharing, and instead of building a collective memory, the expectation is to be enjoyed and commented. To check this scenario presented above, we attempted to use as a methodological resource Collective Subject Discourse, prepared by Fernando Lefrèvre and Ana Maria Cavalcanti Lefrèvre and is beginning to build a personal narrative from speeches of a collectivity, extract elements anchoring and development of a central theme that permeates every speech and from that, draws up a line only, as if all became one. ABSTRACT: This work aims to understand the relationship between image and memory in the universe of Instagram. But also research highlights the issue of the phenomenon of memory from the image, has as a methodological approach to phenomenology, in particular Merleau-Ponty, as is the construction of an imaginary from the experiences. The relevance of this work is to see that there is a relationship between individuals who transcends the issue of the device and Instagram manifests as support that assists the individual to explore their creativity in the form of images.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O museu na era virtual: uma análise sobre os processos comunicativos on-line do Museu da UFPA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-03-30) SOUZA, Lucimery Ribeiro de; LAGE, Danila Gentil Rodriguez Cal; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4593992869253877The objective is to analyze how the museological institution interacts through on-line social networks with its public and how the responsible agents understand this communication process taking into account the social function of museums and the need to promote dialogue with society. To accomplish this reflection, it investigates the Museum of the Federal University of Pará (MUFPA), situated in Belém (PA). As theoretical foundation, it is used the reflections made from literature relating to the Communication (BRAGA; FRANÇA; MARTINO; RECUERO) and the Museology field (CARVALHO; CURY; GUARNIERI; MUCHACHO; SCHEINER). As methodological procedures for data collection, two main techniques are highlighted: the direct observation unsystematic and systematic of social networks Facebook and Instagram appropriated by the Museum of UFPA and interviews from semi-structured scripts with the subjects involved in the production and circulation of the content published in the virtual environments connected to MUFPA. It concludes that the way MUFPA makes use of the studied on-line environments provides expansion and strengthening of the local social ties established virtually, through the practice of posts whose contents portray regional aspects and scenes of the day-by-day of the museum. The maintenance of this practice may provide that the links established in cyberspace are scaled to the physical space of the museum, with potential to reframe the dynamics of presential visitation of the museum circuit in the city of Belém. Analyze the museum as an object allows an extension of the perspectives of Communication and Museology area, and points the necessity for further research that investigate more broadly the museological institutions as a medium, for example, the communication in the experience of the visit to the museum, the dynamic and the museums and its diferente public, among other possibilities.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Questão racial no Instagram: uma análise dos conteúdos publicados pelos vereadores da 19ª Legislatura de Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-08-29) ARAÚJO, Marcus Vinícius Passos; CUNHA, Elaide Martins da; //lattes.cnpq.br/6730514752933340; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3778190981135428; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7723-7055This research articulates three relevant axes: communication, politics and racial issue. From the publications of the councilors of Belém (PA) on Instagram, we seek to understand the actions of these political actors focused on racial issues. All 35 councilors of the 19th Legislature (2021-2024) of Belém are present on Instagram. During the term of office, these councilors posted 8,696 publications in the feed specifically in JPG (image) format. In this scenario, this digital media appears as an environment that combines audience, resources and multiple possibilities to disseminate themes, among them, racial content. To guide this discussion, the following question was formulated: “How are the actions of the councilors of the Belém City Council aimed at the black population constituted and how is the racial issue represented in these actions, disclosed in their profiles on Instagram?”. The search for this answer involved the contextualization of the process of appropriation of digital media by political agents. Research by Kahwage (2019), Gomes et al. (2013), Vieira (2017) and Nunes (2013) will show that in the use of this communicative environment, councilors do not disassociate themselves from their constitutional responsibilities. The concepts of race and racism are fundamental to understand and analyze the issues that revolve around the racial debate in Brazil. Works by Almeida (2020), Deus (2008), Munanga (2004), Gomes (2012) and Hall (2015) contribute both to theorizing the racial scenario and to help in the identification of racial themes, such as racism, discrimination and representativeness. The methodological procedures, supported by studies of content analysis by Bardin (1977) and Sampaio and Lycarião (2021), made it possible to identify 382 publications with references to racial issues. From the creation of a code book, with 20 analytical categories, it was possible to better understand the content of these publications. Among the results revealed are, for example, which councilors are involved with the racial cause, the main racial issues addressed and whether racial contents are linked, above all, to commemorative dates, according to the premise formulated in this study. Another significant result concerns the profile of those who published the most on the racial issue: left-wing black women with higher education as a basic level of study. In addition to expressive results, this work is also marked by the thematic originality when relating political communication with racial issues debated in municipal legislative mandates within the sphere of Instagram.
