Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cidadania organizacional, satisfação e engajamento no trabalho: um estudo com servidores federais da educação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-05-16) ARAÚJO, Kelline Feitosa de; MATTOS, Carlos André Corrêa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3337808570398709; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3027-7479This paper aims to analyze the correlation among organizational citizenship (OC), job satisfaction, and work engagement. It is a quantitative descriptive research developed with 488 employees of federal institutions of education. One questionnaire was applied using the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, the Organizational Citizenship Scale for Knowledge Workers, and the Generic Job Satisfaction Scale. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques and structural equation modeling. It was found that job satisfaction is positively influenced by OC practices with emphasis on civic virtue and without effects on voice. Tests indicated a positive and significant correlation between job satisfaction and work engagement. This study differs from the others by exploring organizational elements insufficiently studied in the Brazilian civil context and broadens the discussion on the factors that can lead civil officers to work with greater satisfaction and engagement, bringing theoretical contributions and practical implications for public managers and organizational studies.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Influência da autoeficácia na satisfação no trabalho na intensão de rotatividade: um estudo com professores federais da educação superior(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-12-18) ANDRADE, Nilda Maria da Cruz; MATTOS, Carlos André Corrêa de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3337808570398709; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3027-7479This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and job satisfaction, both individual and group-based, and the implications of these relationships on turnover intention among federal higher education professors. A survey was conducted with 165 federal professors selected through non-probabilistic convenience sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on the New General Self-Efficacy Scale (NGSE), Short Index of Job Satisfaction (SIJS), Group Work Satisfaction Scale (ESAGT), and Turnover Intention Scale (EIR), and analyzed using structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM).The results indicated that self-efficacy is a significant predictor of job and group satisfaction. However, a paradox was observed: while self-efficacy generally enhances satisfaction, in contexts of low professional recognition, it may increase turnover intention. This finding highlights the need for strategic actions that foster professional development and recognition, creating an environment that enhances self-efficacy while reducing dissatisfaction and turnover intentions. This research provides practical contributions for managers by assisting in the development of strategies that integrate professional recognition, talent retention, and improved organizational performance.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A qualidade dos treinamentos na percepção do técnico administrativo em educação e a relação com a satisfação e a qualidade de vida no trabalho(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-01-24) ALVES, Sabrina Bianca da Silva; MARTINS, Harley dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3094067019584624; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1400-0939The objective of this research was to evaluate the quality of training and qualification services offered by a public educational institution by comparing the expectations and experience of the server client and their relationship with satisfaction in the work environment and the quality of life at work. To evaluate the effectiveness of the training program at the institution location of this research, the SERVQUAL model was used, which is a questionnaire composed of 22 questions that encompass 5 dimensions of quality. The SERVQUAL model has proven effective in assessing service quality and identifying gaps that need to be addressed to improve the organization's performance. To identify the level of satisfaction of employees with their work, the QWLQ-bref questionnaire was applied, which assesses four domains of quality of life at work (QWL). The results revealed a positive correlation between the quality dimensions of the training service and the QWL domains, corroborating the studies carried out and highlighted in this research. The existing gaps between expectations and results related to the quality of the training service were also confirmed. As a suggestion for future research, it is suggested to apply the questionnaires to other units in the federal public sphere with the aim of promoting generalization and reducing biases.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Satisfação no Trabalho de Cuidadores de Pessoas com deficiência(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-04-27) PINHEIRO, Kelly Vale; SILVA, Simone Souza da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9044423720257634The quality of care provided to people in situations of vulnerability, especially with disabilities and in shelter services, associated with the increasing reduction in professional engagement in health care, reflects on the perception that caregivers have about their job satisfaction. This research proposes to describe the perception of job satisfaction of caregivers of people with disabilities in a Brazilian host institution based on the approach of Herzberg's theory and on the foundations of positive psychology. By using a socio-demographic inventory and 11 collective interviews, the authors collected information on the factors that promote satisfaction from caregivers of people with disabilities in institutional care. With the application of content analysis in conjunction with the method of Reinert, two categories emerged: satisfaction with yourself and satisfaction with the other. Satisfaction involving individual aspects (personal learning, donation, pleasure, and recognition) and social aspects (relational pleasure, learning from the other, pleasure from the other, adoption and life expectancy) is based on interactions between caregivers and people they take care. The lack of a longitudinal design is a limitation of this study, thus indicating directions for future a research, since relationships, which are the driving forces behind human development, evolve over time.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Satisfação no trabalho docente: uma análise a partir do modelo social cognitivo de satisfação no trabalho e da eficácia coletiva docente(Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2016-06) RAMOS, Maély Ferreira Holanda; FERNANDEZ, Ana Patrícia de Oliveira; FURTADO, Karla Cristina Nina; RAMOS, Edson Marcos Leal Soares; SILVA, Simone Souza da Costa; PONTES, Fernando Augusto RamosThe teacher job satisfaction: An analysis from the social cognitive model of job satisfaction and collective efficacy from teachers. Whereas job satisfaction is an aspect that has an effect on the motivational states of teachers, it is necessary to investigate its implications for teaching. Thus, this study aims to: identify factors related to job satisfaction based on the assessment of the dimensions of the Social Cognitive Model of Job Satisfaction (MSCST) and collective efficacy. For this, research was conducted on a sample of 495 teachers of private schools using mixed approach (quantitative and qualitative). Technical data analysis statistics were applied to the information collected concerning the total sample (495). The content analysis (qualitative approach) was applied at the open of 40 teachers from the sample answers. The results indicated that the efficacy beliefs (self-efficacy and collective efficacy) has no effect on satisfaction in teaching and other factors such as economic, may be more related to satisfaction.
