Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Atlas prosódico multimédia do município de Cametá (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-12-20) ESPÍRITO SANTO, Ilma Pinto do; CRUZ, Regina Célia Fernandes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3307472469778577The present study refers to the results obtained with the conduction of the AMPER-POR Project in the North of Brazil, with the results obtained to the Portuguese language spoken in Cametá city. The AMPER project has as its main goal to give the acoustic and prosodic characterization of Romanic languages, as well as an online multimedia Atlas (CONTINI et al, 2002; MOUTINHO et al, 2001). We adopted all the methodological procedures determined by the geral coordination of AMPER project. We obtained 6 sonorous signs of 3 hours and 04 minutes of recording. The recorded material took 5 steps of treatment: A) codification of repetitions b) vocalic segmentation of the selected signs in the PRAAT program, c) PRAAT Scrip application d) selection of the three best repetitions e) application of the Matlab interface to obtain the averages of the patterns from the three best repetitions. Therefore, the final corpus of this study is composed by the 198 sentences of each informer (3 men and 3 women) that went through acoustic analysis, in a total of 1.188 sentences. The analysis indicates that, in a general way, the averages of F0, of duration and intensity, complemented themselves to establish the distinction of the affirmative and interrogative enunciations in the variety of the spoken Portuguese in Cametá (PA). It is possible, equally, to affirm that the important variations of the 3 controlled acoustic patterns occur preferably in the tonic syllable of the nuclear element of the phrase and/or in the last tonic syllable of the enunciation.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Concordância verbal em textos de alunos do ensino fundamental maior: variação e ensino(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018) MORAES, Ronaldo Nogueira de; LIMA, Alcides Fernandes de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2565242209879834Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A variação diatópica no dicionário escolar(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-05-26) CARDOSO, Brayna Conceição dos Santos; RAZKY, Abdelhak; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8153913927369006This academic project presents a diatopical variation study in school dictionaries. As theoretical support to it, we have based this study on the lexicology, lexicography and linguistic geography approaches. The main objective of this research is to analyze the presence of the diatopical variation in six Portuguese school dictionaries corresponding to collection 3 and 4 assessed in the last edition of the Textbook National Program (PNLD/2012). The option to analyze the diatopical variation in dictionaries is an attempt to produce a vision that takes into consideration linguistic, social and political aspects of the usage of the language. Therefore, the following method has been used: the observation of the usage markers that indicate diatopical variation in the selected dictionaries in order to analyze them based on their megastructural, macrostructural and microstructural aspects; the elaboration of an evaluation form to register the data about the treatment of the diatopical variation in each of the dictionaries as well as the application of a questionnaire to interview students and teachers from private and public schools aiming to observe their attitudes towards the use of the dictionaries. We have concluded that the diatopical variation in the dictionaries need more studies that take advantage of the linguistic geography method so that these studies might produce more reliability to the usage markers that the dictionaries convey. Make dictionaries based on the usage of the language. Train teachers and students to explore the dictionaries productively in the teaching-learning process.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Variações do fonema /ʎ / no falar de quatro localidades do sudeste do Pará: uma descrição geo-sociolingüística(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-10-26) SALVADOR, Carlene Ferreira Nunes; RAZKY, Abdelhak; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8153913927369006This research has as main objective at studying the variation of palatal lateral sound in the speech of 04 (four) cities of the Para State: Curionópolis, Itupiranga, Dom Eliseu and Tucuruí. Since their foundation, these cities have been receiving migrants from several areas of the country. The heterogeneous constitution of the population provokes in these communities the emergence of linguistic variety that presents phonetics and grammatical features of several areas of the country. The sample of the community is made of 46 informants that are stratified socially. The methodological framework adopted is that of quantitative sociolinguistics and geography linguistics. Most of the linguistic phenomena presented here, specifically the phonetics ones are in variation. Most of them are produced in a systematic way happen, in a variable or systematic way practically in the whole national territory. The main external factor that can be responsible for the variation is the education level, which influences in the production of the phonetic phenomena. The VARBRUL statistic software was used to calculate the probabilities of the linguistics and social variables. The main results showed six varieties of /ʎ / phoneme.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) As vogais médias pretônicas nas capitais da região norte do Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012) DIAS, Marcelo Pires; OLIVEIRA, Marilucia Barros de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9728768970430501This dissertation aims to describe the behavior of the middle unstressed vowels based on informants speech of six capitals of northern Brazil, namely: Belém (PA), Manaus (AM), Rio Branco (AC) , Macapa (AP), Porto Velho (RO) and Boa Vista (RR). The research is justified by the importance of describing the variety of Brazilian Portuguese spoken in the Brazilian Amazon and for contributing to linguistic description of the Brazilian Portuguese (BP). We used data from the phoneticphonological (QFF) and lexical-semantic questionnaires (QSL), instruments of data collection of the Linguistic Atlas of Brazil (ALiB). The data were transcribed with the use of Transcriber and then subjected to the use of the variable rule program VARBRUL which provided the relative weights useful for the analysis and variationist linguistic reflection. The groups of established factors for the description and linguistic analysis of the behavior of middle back unstressed vowels were the following: the nature of the stressed vowel, the distance between the stressed and unstressed vowel, the unstressed onset segment, the following syllable onset segment , gender, education , age and origin of the informant. Variants [i], [e] and [ɛ] were found to variable . To we found [u] [o] and [ɔ].The outcomes show [e] and [o] as the most frequent variants in the speech of northern Brazil.
