Ana Maria Machado em sala de aula: leitura literária e formação do leitor
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-08-30) VIANA, Maria Helena da Silva; SALES, Germana Maria Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8723885160615840
This paper aims to present a methodological proposal to the reading of two works (Quem perde ganha e O Cavaleiro do Sonho: As aventuras e desventuras de Dom Quixote de La Mancha) by Brazilian writer Ana Maria Machado, intended for children and youth in order to encourage the literary literacy and the reader formation in a public school in the city of Ananindeua, in the state of Pará. It is considered, thus, the literary literacy as a right of all (Queirós, 2014) and the literary text being the core of the Portuguese discipline for being a manifestation of excellence of memory, of operation and creativity of Portuguese language (Silva, 1988). The literature teaching in public schools is target of criticism and has contributed timidly to form proficient readers, since the schooling process has occurred inappropriately and the teacher‟s challenge is to find the balance between the interests of personal enjoyment and the needs of literary schooling (Cosson, 2014). It is necessary, therefore, to rethink the problem so that the literacy text is not just nomenclatures object, grammatical banalities and superficial analysis (Smith, 2011), but an instrument that can raise reflections and relevant contribution to the lives of students. This paper is organized in three chapters: the first discusses the teaching of literature and the reader formation, the second deals with the literary universe of Ana Maria Machado and the third brings a proposal of pedagogic intervention. It is intended, this way, that the school promotes the insertion of children and youth literature and of the classical in their daily lives in order to contribute so that the reading of literary text be a meaningful and pleasurable activity for elementary school students and, thus, encourage the reader formation in public schools.

A devolução da palavra ao aluno por meio de narrativas literárias
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-01-16) GOMES, Patrícia Albuquerque de Campos; FAIRCHILD, Thomas Massao
This work it's a research made with students from the 6th grade in the primary school of a municipal school about the _devolution of the word_ to the students in the classroom. The research it's made from two steps: The first step was to diagnose the students performance in their reading and writing skills, and also to elaborate one intervention proposition. The second step goal it's to apply activities that could stimulate the production of literary narratives starting from the personal experience and/or familiar of the students. The diagnosis made in the first step showed that part of the students of the 6th grade from the primary school were not embedded in a certain kind of oral culture when they were little (such as telling stories); and consequently, the results showed that it manifests in the poor performance of the students with their writing and reading skills. The main goal of the research it's to give it back the words to the students through activities that will stimulate the experience and the contact with the literary text. Therefore, we shall discuss in this research, the value of the literary text in the classroom and, in theory, we will show some ideas from some authors that defends the presence of these texts in the school: ZILBERMAN (1988), LAJOLO (1988), BELINTANE (2013), among others, which will sustain that the presence of the literary text in the school it's crucial to the student formation and development of the writer/reader, besides preparing the student to read all types of social speeches. In this research, its approach, also, the interaction conception of the informed language in BAKHTIN/VOLOCHINOV (2014). Such as the methodology for the dada collection, we will apply four diagnostics activities. Thereafter, the analysis were made and we reach the conclusion that, to get in the students reality, it will be essencial that each student should bring a package of activities that could provide the opportunity of having a version of the devolution of the word written in Geraldi (2003), to work among the others literary texts.

Dois estudos em análise do comportamento: emergência de leitura após diferentes tipos de ensino de sílabas e palavras e introdução ao letramento analítico-comportamental
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-28) MESQUITA, Alex Andrade; ASSIS, Grauben José Alves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0722706223558223
Reading can be understood as a complex network of relations between stimuli and responses. Study 1 aimed verify the effect of different types of syllable teaching (before or along with the word) and word sizes (two syllables or three syllables) on the development of recombinative and comprehension reading, perform a typology of word naming errors, and verify if the teaching method were considered reinforcing by the participants. The study participants were twelve children aged six to seven years, who were taught to read through the MTS and CRMTS procedure. The results showed that the type of syllable teaching had little influence on the recombinative and comprehension readings, but the participants who learned three syllables words developed a repertoire of recombinative reading superior to those who learned two syllables words and presented fewer errors. The most common type of error was to the exchange of syllables and the syllabication of the word. All children evaluated positively the teaching method. We conclude that the teaching of larger words can facilitate the generalized recombinative reading. In study 2 a bibliographic review of the narrative type was carried out with the objectives of: 1) presenting briefly the most used literacy methods in Brazil; 2) describe literacy in behavioral terms; 3) propose a new behavioral-analytic method of literacy. We verified that the most used literacy methods were: synthetic, with emphasis on the phonic, analytical, whole language, social constructivism and the Paulo Freire method. Quotations to behaviorist methods are few and often negative. Literacy involves complex behavioral processes and it can be reconciled with behavioral analysis as long as the behavioral objectives are clear and preferable immediate differential consequences follow the learning.

Estratégias de leitura como instrumento na formação do leitor competente
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-12-14) MIRANDA, Hamilton de Jesus; ABDON, Iaci de Nazaré Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2212976917586395
By understanding reading as a process of social interaction in which the reader interacts with the text in a critical and active way, able to attribute meaning to what he reads, we have developed this study with the objective of approaching the teaching of reading comprehension strategies as an instrument in the formation In order to reach the desired goal, we base this work on the dialogical conception of language and the perspective of discursive genres from Bakhtin / Volochinov (1992) , Bakhtin (2003), and in the theoretical assumptions related to the Bakhtinian interactionist view of language, expressed in the NCPs (BRASIL 1997- 1998 - 2001), in the studies of Geraldi (1997 -1998 - 2011), Solé (1998), Kleiman Menegassi and Menegassi (2010), and in addition, authors based on the constructivist conception of teaching and school learning defended by Coll (1990), a theory in which Solé (1998) is based when it comes to teaching reading comprehension strategies. It is a qualitative / participatory research, in which we seek to describe the discourse of the subjects studied, making a parallel with what the documents provided by the school collaborating the research say, retaking in the analysis the current theories in the research. The results of the study show that the work with the reading proposed by the school is not enough to make the reader an active and participative subject of the teaching and learning process and, therefore, does not make it sufficiently develop its reading abilities. The reading of the text is still done in an elementary way, with a more pronounced focus on the oralization of writing and its grammatical aspects, without a thematic deepening aimed at the critical dialogue with other readings and the singularities of the text itself, factors that contribute to An effective reading in the construction of the senses in the act of reading. We understand that one of the reasons that lead to this practice is the little investment in a systematized work with reading, which promotes reader-text-author integration. Although there is a great effort of the teachers, the reading activities elaborated by them still fall short of a work that in fact contributes to the formation of a competent reader, capable of making social use of reading in different communicative situations. The analyzes culminated in a proposal for reading comprehension activities, as defined by Solé (1998), which guides that reading must occur in three moments: before, during and after reading the text.

A leitura como instrumento de desenvolvimento do aluno leitor: uma proposta de atividades em uma turma de 8º ano em uma escola de Mosqueiro
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-11-10) PORTELA, Sâmela Aires dos Santos; MENDES, Leila Said Assef; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6659267771631495
This work was made from a supposing that the Reading is one of the paths which the student develop knowledge and it´s one of the tools for a critical construction´s human being, somebody who uses his/her speakings and able to interact in an efficient way with his/her surrounding people. In this context, we discuss about a school ´s need , it has to lead a role play not only in the reader´s formation, but as well as a space to the development from the reader´s student. From this language interracionalist´s conception, mainly based in Bakhtin and Menegassi, we discuss this necessity and we ask, from a previously approach with a eighth year classroom from the elementary school from Mosqueiro, what can be done so that the student show a development and reading autonomy ? Trying to answer this question which bother us, we had to identify an objective, from some activities perspective, some advances in the reader´s development from the students, so that it could become an expert reader and able to evolve in the most several communicative intereactions. From this signal given by the students in this previous activity, we can verify that the classroom had some difficulties since their understanding´s level until the reading retention´s level . Through this, we proposed a work with reading´s activities, focused in the decodification´s levels, understanding, interpretation and retention, until to arrive at activities culminating with the Touristic reports´gender. From this result on , we noticed some advances in their reading from the third activity on, when we started reading´s strategies, such as resumes´production, presented by Solé (1998). In the later activities, we verified that the students were increasing their knowledge and improving their development in the steps from this reading process. Finally, we testified, that the most of the students, an appropriation from reading steps, when the readers- students made some interviews and they got, from these interviews, retextualize to the Touristic reports´gender applying, indeed, some strategies such as those learned at resume´s work, informations´selection made, besides their criticism´s display revealed during this process, that it finished with a touristic reportmagazine´s production.

Leitura de contos machadianos adaptados ao gênero HQ na formação de novos leitores
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-08-30) SILVA, Marcos Vinícius Souza da; HOLANDA, Sílvio Augusto de Oliveira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0928175455054278
This dissertation aims at analyzing media adaptations of writer Machado de Assis‘s three short story, before that, will make a brief history about the author as short story writer, his publications and the great importance to Brazilian literature. Will make also an analyse of plots of following short story ―A cartomante‖, ―Pai contra mãe‖ e ―Conto de escola‖. This study is based on theoretical presuppositions of researchers like (BOSI, 1980), (COSSON, 2006), (COSTA, 2013) and (VERGUEIRO, 2006; 2013) among others. In perspective of this study, is interesting verify how is the Classic Literature and the Comics (Sequential Art), will discuss how the authors use the comics code to detach details of the stories as also to check which pieces of the comics can provide to adaptations, how both interact, because we understand that as the reading original short story as much adapted to Sequential art can be made independently of an order, we defend that both reading can help us to compare each other, allowing new ways of understanding, becoming rich our analyses. This way, adaptations to literature texts to comics appear not as a definite resolution or something extraordinary, but a methodological strategy to approximate students of literary texts. As suggestion to develop this proposal we will use a didactic sequence because it presents a more organized structure and at same time dynamic, it can provide to the educator possibilities of including activities in according to their own observations, considering each student‘s linguistic capacity, their previous knowledge and cultural experience.

A ressignificação da prática de leitura dos graduandos do Curso de Letras PARFOR - UFPA: território de formação, subjuntividade e horizonte social do leitor
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-05-17) SILVA, Márcio Oliveiros Alves da; ALVES, Laura Maria Silva Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6009592378453661
This thesis has the object the Meaning Network about Reading Lessons in the experience of Undergraduate-Reader in Letters Course - PARFOR / UFPA, and the objective is to understand the reframing of expressed discourses by Letters Course undergraduates to set up a Meaning Network about Reading Lessons in the reader experience. In this study, we organized the discoursive dialogical relations produced as Meaning Network for designing the theoretical basis of the Meaning Network by listening to experiences of Reading activities Lessons: Bakhtin (1997, 2003); Bruner (1990 and 1995); Souza (2014); Larossa (2006); and Petit (2009a and 2009b). The methodology is predominantly qualitative and constituted the research corpus at a group of Letters Course in the city Redenção/PA: 26 questionnaires; 09 interviews with narrative character; and 01 memorial written, and notes in class diaries. The analysis of listening to the experience of the subject’s Reading Lessons revealed three dimensions: the first are the discursive activities of the Subject: Reader’s Territoriality of the Formation– as variant of movement and dimension of the use of Reader’s reading objects; and Reader’s Subjunctivity – as meaning creation variant to build its own history of reader. The second dimension as Discursive activities in the Subject-Reader’s Memory: Social Reader Horizon – as a variant of reflection of the value of recreation of the reader’s meaning. The third dimension is the updated historicity of Subject-Reader’s Consciousness Formation: the formation of Meaning Network through the Reading Lessons in the experience of reader through the variants formed in the first and second dimension. Thus, the study helps to think discursive dialogical scenes of the readers as negotiation and reformulate the entry of new meanings of Reading Lessons in the Reader experience steadily in its historicity Reader’s Consciousness Formation. What supports this thesis is that the cultural experience of the word reader emerges socially in the Territory of Teacher Education through dialogism to (re)negotiate and take a place with cultural difference of reader, capable of making visible their discursive activity for designing your Meaning Network as Historicity of Consciousness Formation of the Reader’s Reading Lessons.
