Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma análise etnográfica na memória e cotidiano na Avenida Governador Magalhães Barata- Belém/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-03-31) BAHIA, Carmosina Maria Calliari; MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3254198738703536This research aims to analyze the memory and daily life at Magalhães Barata Avenue, using the method of Street Ethnography, used as a resource for the preservation of the cultural heritage of the area. This proposal is based on the experience of the researcher and architect of the Goeldi Museum, for over 30 years, which aroused looking at the changes in the former Independence Avenue architecture in this time interval. The choice of the ethnographic method provided a qualitative and closest approach of the avenue residents‘, allowing us to an analysis of the interactions, the memory of the residents, the daily lives of passersby, traditional activities of formal and non-formal working, from the first decades of the XX century. During the immersions in the avenue, we use the interviews to record the historical and affective memory of the passerby, who works and who lives on the avenue, as well as we use the photographic record as a way of highlighting the transformations in the architecture. In response to the guiding research question "How to preserve the architectural diversity of the Avenue, considering the changes that have occurred and the social dynamics of the place?" We conclude that the knowledge gained from the incursions in the field will allow the appreciation of the cultural heritage found in the stretch where a marked change in the customs and local ambience is visible. Through actions adapted by cultural institutions located in the Avenue, we can make the daily activities of the streets, where the human relationships are found, work and friendship ones, as well as routine activities that have the testimony of personal and social events. This is the rescue of cultural memory, an important factor for preservation of the identity of the place.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aprendendo História com os “guardiões da memória”: o uso do podcast no ensino de História da África e da diversidade étnico-racial(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-12-22) SILVA, Wilson Júnior Bastos da; SILVA, Wesley Garcia Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2125737316069934; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2734-5442This dissertation aimed to discuss how the teaching of African History and Ethnic-Racial Diversity, prescribed by law 10639/03, has an important contribution to an anti-racist education. Thus, we mobilize, through the dialectical process between teaching and learning as pedagogical tools, knowledge that involved the ancestry that walks with memory and, as a means, the orality to work on the valorization of an identity linked to the African continent. For this, we searched through the interface between “Griot Technology” from ancestry and the orality technology of cyberspace podcast, to put our purpose into practice. Our studies were based on “Irmã Maria Angelica Dantas school”, in Paragominas, which in its Political Pedagogical Project includes the “Project Black is the Root of Freedom” for discussions on ethnic-racial relations.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Aspectos do novo romance histórico na obra os pardais estão voltando de Gilvan Lemos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-09) SILVA, Luciano Ferreira daThis article analyzes the fictional work Os pardais estão voltando from the writer from Pernambuco Gilvan Lemos deducing from the work cited aspects of the new historical novel. It is clear that agrarian conflicts have marked and currently mark a field of existence and resignifications for the Tembé people in relation to the conquest of land. More specifically, the Battle of Livramento is analyzed and, based on experiences in History Teaching, the agrarian struggles in the conquest of land and the approaches to this theme within the classroom in Basic Education are discussed. The Battle of Livramento was an armed conflict between Tembé indigenous people and squatters who occupied the Alto Rio Guamá Indigenous Land, which occurred in the 1990s and reached its peak in 1996, when a group of more than 70 individuals, indigenous people of the Tembé, Timbira, Ka'apor, Guajajara and non-indigenous ethnic groups, were imprisoned by farmers and squatters for three days, subjected to torture and lack of minimum conditions for survival, and were only rescued by the Federal Police in Vila do Livramento, in the municipality of Garrafão do Norte. Thus, we surveyed the bibliography on the subject and developed the research based on teaching experiences in the classroom in an indigenous community, as well as on the reports of subjects who experienced and/or remembered those events that constitute an important historical moment in the region and relevant to the work in History Teaching. The research is developed based on interviews recorded by students in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of high school about the importance of discussing agrarian conflicts for the Tembé people, as well as interviews with individuals who participated in the conflict, cross-referencing with bibliographical references relevant to the topic. As a result of the research, we propose a supplementary educational material on the Tembé people and agrarian conflicts, which can be used by both indigenous and non-indigenous teachers, especially in history classes, discussing indigenous school education in the northeast region of the state of Pará in the contemporary Amazon, valuing the history of the Tembé people.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Baú de memórias: o leprosário de Marituba/PA em meio a recordações de uma ex-interna (1940-1970)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-12) CRISTO, Moisés Levy Pinto; SILVA, Gercina Ferreira da; FRANÇA, Maria do Perpétuo Socorro Gomes Avelino deThe present study aims to reflect on the contributions of the memory narratives of ex-inmates at the Hospital Colônia de Marituba/PA, from 1940 to 1970; memories of a lived time that allow to enter the cultural universe of this institution. In the form of a total institution, the City Hospital housed hundreds of lives for the treatment of leprosy. We used as materials for the construction of this analysis interviews with ex-interns of the institution, images about the institution and newspapers. Narratives appear as a form of teaching, which combined with iconographies, texts and testimonies, become important sources of evidence. We used as a theoretical contribution the authors: Bresciani and Naxara (2004), Bosi (1998), Burke (2017), Goffman (1994), Halbwachs (2003), Meihy and Holanda (1997). The narratives and images point to life experiences of the leprosy, a group that has been silenced by brazilian history. Marituba is revealed by agile memories and tired feet that still leave marks on the stones of the city.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Caminhos e ausências no patrimônio da saúde em Belém, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013) MIRANDA, Cybelle Salvador; BELTRÃO, Jane Felipe; HENRIQUE, Márcio CoutoThis article presents the results of an inventory on the historical trajectory of health institutions in the city of Belem, taking into account its architecture and the role changes that have suffered over time. These changes are imprinted both on the buildings and the memories of the Belem population, as well as in the absences resulted from the demolitions. The resulting documentation includes institutional documents, old and current photographs, architectural drawings and interviews, which constitute a collection untapped for understanding health care in northern Brazil. The reconstruction of the trajectories of deployment and movement of the institutions studied contributes to the understanding of the process of urban expansion, with occupancy of wetlands (due to the implementation of hospices) and land areas, as prioritized by hygienists policies.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Centro Histórico de Belém: lugar de história e memória na sala de aula(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-01-29) MARTINS, Lourdes Machado; SILVA, Wesley Garcia Ribeiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2125737316069934; MACÊDO, Sidiana da Consolação Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4202561791565993The dissertation Centro histórico de Belém: place of history and memory in the classroom, aims to develop a didactic proposition, to teach history from heritage sources, incorporating the use of local historical patrimony. The experiment was carried out at the State School of Elementary and Middle School Rui Barbosa, located at Rua Joaquim Távora, 408 in the neighborhood of Cidade Velha. For this research, two monuments of the Historic Center of Belém were selected: the Castle Fort and the Frei Caetano Brandão Square, as a space for the development of teaching and learning in interface with local history. The result was considered positive, because a great involvement of the students with the proposed tasks was observed, a fact that favored the learning of the same ones. As an educational product of the dissertation, the third chapter presents the pari passu of the didactic preposition that proposes to be used in teaching history in different series and levels of teaching. The didactics of history used foresees a methodological course in which the teacher will be the interlocutor in dialogue with the students, because it is he who will present to the students the sources that will be used, as well as, guide them in the construction of reflections about the historical patrimony , whose main objective is to stimulate the construction of historical knowledge in different spaces of memory. The students, in turn, will be agents of this research, since they will have the opportunity to analyze the sources directly and, at different times, they will be the interlocutors through the answers that they will find in the crossing of the sources to each presented question, whose objective is to approach the students of local history through direct contact with sources and local themes. The project was theoretically reflected in the debates and disciplines in the first group of the Professional Master's Degree in History Teaching, highlighting the Rüsenian didactics in epistemological interaction with the debates about heritage education. The study of the historical center from the perspective of heritage education is the educational product as a result of the master's thesis that seeks to make the dialogue between epistemology and praxis.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Cidade e educação: memórias e experiências do ensino primário e ginasial em Breves – Marajó das Florestas (1943-1985)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-06-30) PUREZA, Enil do Socorro de Sousa; PACHECO, Agenor Sarraf; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5839293025434267In order to understand the construction process of the city of Breves, in Marajó das Florestas, as a regional development hub, focusing on the 20th century, this research presented as a central thesis the assertion that educational experiences in primary and secondary education in the city of Breves , between the 1940s and 1980s, were of great importance for the formation, expansion of urban space and development of the municipality, attracting institutions, public and private services necessary for life in the 20th century to its structure. To arrive at the confirmation of this thesis, we started with the following problematizing questions: How were the city and education, and education and the city historically built in the territory of Breu, in the period from 1943 to 1985? How did the educational and sociocultural practices experienced by residents occur in the expansion and development of urban life? How did the implementation and/or strengthening of primary and secondary education take place in the city? From these guiding questions, the objectives of the research were: to analyze city and education and education and city through written, oral and visual documents, identifying historical-social changes and continuities in the ways of living in Brevense between the 1940s and 1980s; understand the trajectory of formation of the school group from 1943 in the city, the expansion and consolidation of primary education and follow the emergence of secondary education in the context of the 1960s/70s, its contributions to the expansion of the city and the visibility of the city in the regional and state scenario in times of military regime. Based on Social and Cultural History and dialoguing with written, oral and visual documents, the results indicate that Breves became the main educational center of the Marajós das Florestas, from the 1960s onwards with the implementation of the Miguel Bitar State Gym, which joined to primary education, which began in the 1940s with the Dr. Lauro Sodré, Boarding School Evangélico Amazonas and Colégio Santo Agostinho. They also showed that, in the education and city movement, the city became a regional reference in several sectors, and education played a sine qua non role, because through the training of people, multiple development possibilities were opened for Breves to become , nowadays, an educating city.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A cidade entre memórias e fotografias: uma prática de ensino patrimonial nas aulas de História - Icoaraci – Pa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-08-28) PEIXOTO, Williomar de Souza; MACÊDO, Sidiana da Consolação Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4202561791565993; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1481-9274This dissertation has as main theme the dialogue between Heritage Education and local History in the teaching of History in order to contribute to scientific research on the didactics of History. It seeks paths that can lead students to historical knowledge, in fact, meaningful. To this end, it aimed to demonstrate the importance of the treatment of history teaching with themes of local history, and heritage, considering the important connection that they have with the perspective of the development of the students' identities and sense of belonging, suggesting to present a didactic sequence within these research fields mentioned above. In this sense, mainly oral sources were used, derived from the survey of memories of part of the residents of the district of Icoaraci, and consecutively the recording of photographic images of the spaces and practices listed in these reports of memory. Such practice aimed to place the student as the protagonist of the research, enabling them to apprehend a past from their place that for them was previously silenced, helping them to gain notions of a time full of ruptures and permanences in the present. The production is a means of expanding the debate on heritage teaching, and of research in teaching history from the uses of different memory spaces as a source of analysis. The work suggests the existing debate about the definitions and uses of cultural heritage, their purposes and what projects of society they serve. The material result of this project is configured in a product in a booklet format, systematizing the didactic proposal in heritage teaching carried out here, having as main target teachers of the basic education network, as well as the collection of images produced by the students, in addition to the bank itself of data that organizes the notes on places, customs, local practices from the memory of the elders and students.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma construção de conhecimento histórico e educação com o patrimônio material no Museu Memorial da Balaiada(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-09-25) DUARTE, Rosângela de Oliveira; MACÊDO, Sidiana da Consolação Ferreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4202561791565993; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1481-9274The present work studies the possibilities of using musealized objects and built heritage, the ruins of a 19th century fort, sculptures and a monument to D. de Caxias at the Memorial Museum of Balaiada, in Caxias MA, as didactic resources in History classes for the construction of historical knowledge based on the association of teaching and research with documentary sources. It aims to analyze the students' perception of the relationship between the Izabelense, Jordão and Caraparu rivers and the history of Santa Izabel do Pará, following the theoretical basis proposed by environmental history. Therefore we use oral history as a methodology to produce the izabelenses environmental memories from the speeches of the old residents, and through these, the students get to know the uses, relationships and social practices experienced between the subjects and the rivers, at the same time in which they analyzed the existing works on the history of the city, so that they understood what these authors said about rivers and nature or if they did not speak about them. So, as a product of this dissertation, was made the e-book Rivers' tales: izabelenses stories, in which the students in their writing and illustration of the stories used the environmental memories collected with the help of the information present in the works to point out the spaces they considered significant for the history of the place and thus write their texts that present new narratives about Santa Izabel do Pará, now including the rivers. With that, the students reflected on the environmental issues and crises existing in the place, leading the production of knowledge and, with the domain of this, developed their environmental awareness, being critical of the problems of the present in relation to water and rivers, being able to exercise the citizenship based on the issues reflected in their history classes.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) De professores civis a oficiais militares: experiências sociais de militares temporários para o magistério na Força Aérea Brasileira (2011-2019)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-08-31) GAUDÊNCIO, Sandra Letícia Magalhães; NUNES, Francivaldo Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4125313573133140This dissertation analyzes the temporary hiring process of teachers as Military Officers, considering the demands related to basic education in a militarized structure. The train, as a means of communication, instigates us to reflect on the relations, clusters and cities that have emerged from their travels and displacements, as well as the family nuclei that formed near the railroad. The memorable narratives about this railroad will serve as an initial symbolic map to problematize the relations between communication, culture and identities in the paraense Amazon. Books, photos, maps, blogs and videos are clues to search for traces of the Bragança train and its passengers through their narratives. One can perceive how these texts produce in time the totality of this experience that has crossed lives in times dated as an event remembered in search of self-construction from the collective memory.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) O exílio no testemunho da segunda geração: elementos para um paradigma narrativo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-02-26) LOBATO, Ladyana dos Santos; SARMENTO-PANTOJA, Tânia Maria Pereira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3707451019100958; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1575-5679In this research, we analyze the testimony of the children of the persecuted, disappeared and political dead of the 1964 Military Dictatorship, which refers to the childhood experience in exile and the way this experience is presented in literary and cinematographic production. For this, we selected two research corpora. The first consists of testimonial narratives published in 2014 in the book Infância Roubada, among which we selected the narratives entitled: “O exílio do meu pai foi a nossa despedida”, by Suely Coqueiro; “Por que você é tão tristinha?” by Marta Nehring; and “Adotados pela Revolução Cubana”, by Virgílio Gomes da Silva Filho. The second corpora consist of the novel entitled Meninos sem Pátria, by Luiz Puntel, published in 1988, by the Vaga-Lume series; the novel titled A Resistencia, published in 2015, by Brazilian writer Julián Fuks, son of parents exiled from the dictatorship in Argentina; and the film entitled Diário de uma Busca, released in 2010, by Flávia Castro, daughter of persecuted politicians from the Dictatorship in Brazil. The thesis dialogues with concepts from the field of migration studies (CAVALCANTI, 2017; OIM, 2009, SAYAD, 1998), among which we highlight the concept of exile (AGAMBEN, 1996; SAID, 2003; VIÑAR and VIÑAR, 1992; ROLLEMBERG, 1999, 2007). The thesis also dialogues with studies on narratives of exile (ADORNO, 1999; CORTÁZAR, 2001; VIDAL, 2004; FIGUEIREDO, 2017), state of exception (AGAMBEN, 2004); testimony (SELIGMANN-SILVA, 2003, 2005, 2013; VILELA, 2000; SALGUEIRO, 2012); literature and testimony (DE MARCO, 2004; LUQUE, 2003); memory (SARLO, 2007; BASILE, 2019; FANDIÑO, 2016); survival (PELBART, 2008, 2013) and utopia (SZACHI, 1972). The study has as its central theoretical approach the studies on exile, testimony and memory of the second generation. However, we found that the testimonial narratives are crossed, as well as the concept of utopia, as there is, in these texts, a personal desire of the children to understand their own identities, which points to the paradigm of an ad infinitum present of the traumatized experience of the event historic. Faced with this reality, an alternative emerges, namely, the desire to carry out a collective project that strives for another form of relationship between the population and the State. Is this the utopia for a way of life not marked by state violence? The utopia of the subject's integrity? This utopian proposal is, at the same time, paradoxical, due to its impossibility, considering that, once physical, psychological or moral integrity is violated, it can never be recovered. To respond to this issue, we propose a common analytical tool for testimonial narratives that report childhood experiences in exile. In this process, we consider the presence of 4 (four) analysis categories. They are: 1) Motivation (for the trip); 2) The Trip; 3) The Stay; 4) The Return. In the analysis of the narratives of the research corpora, from the four proposed categories, we verified that the exile experience of the second generation is linked to a set of elements that point to the way in which the dictatorial state constituted itself as a promoter of violation of fundamental rights of children and that, therefore, utopia is, in the same measure, an unrealizable project. Thus, this study is of fundamental importance for us to present our theoretical contribution to exile studies, as well as to propose an analysis instrument that could be used by other researchers in similar research bodies.
