Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A história da matemática como metodologia de ensino da matemática: perspectivas epistemológicas e evolução de conceitos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005-02-28) GOMES, Emerson Batista; ESPÍRITO SANTO, Adilson Oliveira do; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5870609258842071We are frequently censured of a population without memory, not for we have not passed, that would be absurd and our homeland is responsible for several cultural constructions and you conquer scientific-technological. The problem resides in the negligence character that most of the population is habituated when of the conservation of the good values and you know. Being like this, a lot of activities and procedures are treated with neglect by this part of the population. We are not being here just about the population with not very or any access to the education, but of the class intellectualized that trust in the science as something finish and without historical foundation, once they excel for the obtained results and not for the means of construction of these knowledge. It is in this context that we judged he/she/it to justify our assertion epistemological. We possessed the understanding that nothing related to the teaching process should be treated without a formation conceptual paltada in its history. This for we believe that only after a reflection act about the actions practiced in the daily academic, we can notice the due relationships incorporated to the field of the personal, social and cultural conscience. Having incorporated such ideal, we felt the back-up need in the certain of the Mathematical Education, more specifically in if being about the defense of the History of the Mathematics as teaching methodology. For so much we investigated by means of a questionnaire the positions with relationship to the education, to the history and the several teachers' of the public net mathematics and peculiar of teaching. The these teachers' thoughts went of great importance to mold the forms with that would approach our defense of the history as methodology of teaching of the mathematics. We judged important, still, our explicit way to conceive the reflection by means of the construction of the knowledge, being this treated so much in philosophical stamp as psychological. The construction of the dissertation would not be complete if we didn't discuss the forms of perception of the history in elapsing of the times and our conception of the history as teaching methodology. That we made it, with the hope of we be contributing to the improvement of the mathematics teachers' posture in class room and of the conscience that should have memory of the construction of ours you know.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Algoritmos para seleção de metodologias de avaliação de softwares educacionais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-09-26) CASTILHO, Janize Monteiro de; FARIAS, Fabricio de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1521079293982268; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-4344-6953In order to assist the teaching-learning processes, many teachers have decided to use Educational Software (ES) in their classrooms. However, to choose a ES as a teaching resource it is essential to endorse the methodology used by the teacher, once it needs to be pedagogically and functionally appropriate to meet the needs and objectives present in the classroom. Also, it is necessary to use mechanisms that the ES endorses to verify its adequacy to the professor’s objectives. Currently, it is verified that there are various techniques and methodologies available in the literature for ES assessment, but there is still no solution for decision making and selection of a ES that fully addresses the profiles of users and their different needs to be met by certain methodological application, or that arises from demand originating from the development of solutions based on demand and with a low capacity for generalization in terms of practical application. In this way, solutions are available without standardization and that several times do not take into consideration criteria relating to quality, measurement scales and verification procedures of the ES. This heterogeneity makes the evaluation of an ES very difficult, since the subjectivity in the selection of ES evaluation methodology can produce inconclusive results. Given this context, this work created a quality model that considers 24 ES assessment methodologies available in the literature and aims to automate the selection of ES assessment methodology based on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, reducing the possibility of subjectivity in the screening process. During the investigation we used Natural Language Processing (NLP), Random Forest, k-Nearest Neighbors and Artificiais Neurais Networks. In all research scenarios, the natural language algorithm was combined with other algorithms, offering a solution based on the application of hybrid and loosely coupled AI algorithms, with excellent results. In this way, simulations were carried out considering NLP+Random Forest, NLP+k-Nearest Neighbors and NLP+Artificial Neurais Networks. After the simulations, the results indicate that it is possible to determine the best ES assessment methodology using AI algorithms, with the best results obtained with the combination of NLP+Random Forest.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise de handover a partir do uso de femtocells em redes LTE: abordagem baseada em simulação discreta(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-06-13) SILVA, Ketyllen da Costa; FRANCÊS, Carlos Renato Lisboa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7458287841862567The volume of data traffic in mobile networks is growing exponentially. The explosion of mobile devices and applications in recent years has led to an overload of the network infrastructure responsible for disposing of this traffic, thus affecting the performance of the network as the user experience. One of the key elements in the networks (LTE) Long Term Evolution is the possibility of deploying multiple femtocells for the improvement of coverage and data rate. However, arbitrary overlapping coverage of these cells makes the handover mechanism complex and challenging. Thus, this dissertation proposes a methodology to study the impact of handover in LTE networks with femtocells. From a discrete simulation approach, the effects of the deployment of femtocells were evaluated. This study aimed to measure the impact and correlation of the use of femtocell parameters of QoS (Quality of Service) and performance indicators handover.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desenvolvimento de uma metodologia para análise química de inclusões silicáticas em cristais de quartzo: estudo de caso em granitos estaníferos da Mina Pitinga (AM)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-05-02) SANTOS, Gabrielle Cristine Silva dos; BORGES, Régis Munhoz Krás; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4220176741850416; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0403-0974Silicate inclusions (melt inclusions) are small globules of silicate melt, containing some combinations of crystals, glass and vapor, entrapped in different minerals during their growth, and can be found in volcanic and plutonic rocks. They are easily identified in volcanic rocks. On the other hand, one of the major difficulties in the study of melt inclusions in plutonic rocks is their identification, because, after being trapped, their evolution results in total or partial crystallization. Based on international literature, they provide important information about the origin, nature of magmas and their petrological evolution. In addition¸ the detection of metals in melt inclusions is a unequivocal geological evidence of the genetic association of these elements with magmatic liquids (source) and is crucial in the study of orthomagmatic or hydrothermal deposits. The techniques for studying silicate inclusions for petrological and metallogenic purposes have evolved very rapidly in the last four decades, but it is a methodology that has not yet been implemented in Brazil, both due to the absence of laboratories with adequate equipment and the inexistence of research groups engaged in this field. Recently, pioneering studies were developed at the CDTN (Centro de Desenvolvimento da Tecnologia Nuclear), in Belo Horizonte (MG), with the tin granites of the Pitinga mine (AM), through high temperature microthermometric experiments and analysis of trace elements by LA-ICP-MS, in silicate inclusions hosted in quartz crystals of these granites. However, the tests were carried out on doubly-polished sections, which made it difficult to perform chemical analyzes of major elements by electron microprobe, since the inclusions were very deep in the quartz crystals, and any attempt at polishing to expose the inclusions would damage the samples. Based on this preliminary experience, this specific work is a technique for preparing quartz crystal concentrates containing silicate inclusions, using as such tin granites from the Pitinga mine (AM), representatives of the later facies of the Madeira pluton, porphyritic hypersolvus alkali feldspar granite and albite-rich granite. Thus, the developed work at the Laboratório de Inclusões Fluidas, with the crucial support of the Oficina de Laminação, the Laboratório de Análises Químicas and the Laboratório de Microanálises of the Instituto de Geociências of the Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), allowed the research to establish a routine involving the following steps: detailed petrography; crushing and grinding of the samples; granulometric separation; preparation of quartz crystal concentrates; muffle furnace heating and cooling experiments; selection of crystals with appropriate inclusions; assembly of the crystals in mounts with epoxy resin and subsequent polishing; monitoring and imaging of inclusions through the SEM; particle analyzes by EDS and, finally, analysis of major element (WDS) by electron microprobe. The microanalytical data (major elements) chosen especially in those silicate inclusions containing two or more solid phases (glass, spherical globules), demonstrated that the preparation technique provided a good exposure of the inclusions. In this way, the methodology developed in this work is relevant to the study of silicate inclusions and can be applied for the preparation of concentrates of any transparent magmatic mineral (quartz, olivine, pyroxene, plagioclase, etc.), host of silicate inclusions, and that can be analyzed by any of the traditional microanalytical techniques (electron microprobe, LA-ICP-MS, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, etc.).Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Equipe Maker Steam: uma metodologia ativa para uma aprendizagem criativa(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-06-28) CORDOVIL, Kleverton Robson da Silva; VAZ, Cristina Lúcia Dias; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5829728118120411The territory of this research involves creative learning in order to answer the following question: How can a methodology with an emphasis on team collaboration contribute to creative learning in higher education? The overall goal is to investigate and experiment with the potential of an active methodology, inspired by the STEAM movement and Maker Culture, with an emphasis on team collaboration and engagement, to promote creative learning in higher education. As a research method, we adopted the cartography method, which allows the researcher to transit and be part of the possible territories of the research, since it is a research-intervention that seeks to map subjective processes in order to make visible what happens in encounters, crossings and experiences. The method transforms a goal-determined walk (hódos) into a hódos-metá, a walk that is created and transformed during the research. It is a rhizomatic movement, focused on experience and the use of clues. Here, the clues chosen were: i) research-intervention; ii) cartographer's attention; iii) following processes; and iv) narrative politics. As narrative we were inspired by the book "The War of the Worlds" by Herbert George Wells. This work presents the hostile arrival of aliens on planet Earth, which facilitates the adaptation of some real facts that occurred between the years 2021 and 2022. The theoretical foundations that guide the concept of creative learning adopted in this research appropriates the contributions of Paulo Freire (1996, 2014) on learning, the main ideas of psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott (1975) on creativity, the contributions of artist Ostrower (2014) on sensitivity and creativity, the thought of pedagogue Jorge Larrosa (2014) on experience, and the contributions of researcher Ivani Fazenda (2008) on interdisciplinarity. Concept that intertwines with learning with the other to strengthen the individual's perception of collectivity and increase their confidence, which makes learning participatory and autonomous. In this context, the STEAM movement allied with the Maker culture presents itself as an interdisciplinary proposal, capable of integrating theory and practice, with the perspective of originating knowledge through experience. To produce the research data, workshops were held with higher education students and the cartographies carried out mapped the creative and innovative potential of the Maker Steam Team. As a consequence of the encounters and crossings that took place during the research, a methodology guide was created.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) História de vida como metodologia de pesquisa: o relato de vida de um menino de rua da Praça da República em Belém do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004-09) ABREU, Waldir Ferreira deDissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) História local e a relação do ensino de História com o mundo do trabalho a partir de exercícios empáticos descritivos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-08-19) SILVA, Renato Miranda da; DIAS JÚNIOR, José do Espírito Santo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7994103518602397The theme of this research is a choice result of my experience as a teacher in basic education and the discomfort of always treating the contents automatically, stuck to traditional methodologies and that often lead to the student's lack of interest in the discipline of History. This work aims to discuss the application of the methodology of Descriptive Empathic Exercises and its results within the rural area of Thailand, in Vila Palmares, with the 8th grade classes of elementary school II, highlighting how this activity can help in the reformulation of the concepts brought by the students and how these students can understand History through their daily lives. Letters written by the students were used as tools for analysis. The concepts of historical narrative and historical empathy were used with the guidance given by the teacher. We have as a theoretical basis for the writing of this work the authors Cristòfol-Trepat (1995), Virgínia Cuesta (2015) and Peter Lee (2003) for the debate of concepts of historical narrative and historical empathy.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Investigando aspectos do mastery learning e da capacidade da memória visual para objetos dinâmicos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-12-22) PEREIRA FILHO, Silvio Carlos Ferreira; ALVES, Danilo Teixeira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6642002445572793Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Métodos de seleção de pessoal: discussões preliminares sob o enfoque do behaviorismo radical(2008) TADAIESKY, Liany TavaresThe goal of personnel selection is to introduce in the organization the applicant that best suits its needs. There is a lack of radical behaviorism literature concerning this subject, resulting in need of research intended to guide attitudes compliant with this theory. This paper discusses the selection methods according to the conceptual prepositions of radical behaviorism. Existing selection methods are analyzed and discussed in terms of increased control of variables present in the selection, in order to proceed to the applicant’s behavioral repertory identification. A job analysis based on behaviorist concepts is proposed. The paper also discusses the possibility of conducting selection interview focused on behavior, as well as the use of simulation techniques that allow behavioral repertory identification. It concludes that theoretical discussions and operational instruments are necessary to the development of a psychological practice in accordance with a behaviorism model of personnel selection.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) O trabalho com narrativas: perspectiva metodológica para o ensino superior(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005-01) SILVA, Josenilda Maria Maués da
