Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Caminhos fluviais e mobilidade: os rios Guaporé, Mamoré e Madeira e a rota entre o Mato Grosso e o Grão-Pará (séculos XVII e XVIII)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-04-28) MELO, Vanice Siqueira de; CHAMBOULEYRON, Rafael Ivan; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7906172621582952; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1150-5912In the mid-eighteenth century, the Guaporé, Mamoré and Madeira rivers became a river way used to establish communication between the Captaincy of Mato Grosso and the State of Grão-Pará and Maranhão. The historiography that analyzed the subject pointed out, notably, the importance of the Portuguese crown in the constitution of this way and the relevance of commercial activities for its consolidation. Although these axes of reflection are important, it is believed that they are not enough to analyze the composition of this river way. In this sense, this thesis argues how this way was also constituted from the mobility and interest of the people who, in expeditions, navigated these rivers and how this displacement was connected to other demands and was constituted, equally, from the interaction with the environment.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desenvolvimento e animação de atores sintético e articulados: uma simulação futebolística(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2005-12-09) QUINTO, Wanderson Alexandre da Silva; RIBEIRO FILHO, Manoel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9329438229733907This master’s dissertation aims to construct one 3D virtual environment in the form of a soccer stadium where simulations of a soccer game will be carried through, with the use of independent avatars. The construction of avatar use the H - Anim 1.1 modeling technique that it brings the concept of hierarchies and articulated body. The implementation of the application was developed with Java and API Java 3D. The autonomy is obtained by aid of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that it will act in the solution of the problems together with the use of rules previously known and tested. Intelligence, in this in case that, it can be observed by the use of three main components of the architecture of avatar: physical characteristics, behaviors and knowledge. For a better efficiency in the choice of which action avatar must make, was developed a strategy with assists of genetic algorithms that provides a better exactness.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Gerenciamento de mobilidade transparente com suporte integrado a QoS/QoE em redes heterogêneas(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-02-29) SILVA JUNIOR, Reinaldo Boulhosa Ramos da; CERQUEIRA, Eduardo Coelho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1028151705135221Advances in wireless communications technology, and the demands for new real-time multimedia applications that meet the Quality of Service (QoS) and Quality of Experience (QoE) requirements, together with the proliferation of mobile equipment, have given rise to new solutions that allow horizontal and vertical mobility in transparent heterogeneous networks. These mobile devices have multiple wireless interfaces where the users are connected so that they can carry out several tasks and services on a daily basis through the technology of different networks that allow a heterogeneous scenario with a wide range of connectivity opportunities for the mobile users. This dissertation sets out a fast decision hierarchical technique for transparent mobility based on cost function in the IEEE 802.21 Standard and class-of-service mapping, to ensure QoS/QoE for the users in periods of mobility called M1H2Q, during which this policy gives information about the best network that can be used for the service employed by the mobile user. It seeks to overcome the problem of having several connections being made by mobile users on the same Wireless Fidelity (wi-fi) network and/or WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) with different services being executed, even though the network is not used correctly. The effects and benefits of the scheme were assessed through NS-2 simulation (Network Simulator- Version 2) and Evalvid, and the QoS and QoE metrics were used to check the results.
