(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-05-24) BRAGA, Carlos Alberto Oliveira; OLIVEIRA, Francisco de Souza; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8386440288477782
The average rates of coastline variation are one of the best indicators to determine the trend of the oscillatory behavior of any part of the coastline over time. The multi-temporal study of the coastline dynamics of the beach segments of Mosqueiro Island, PA, using the Landsat and Sentinel series of satellite imagery, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the European Space Agency (ESA) with the aid of the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS), demonstrated that during the period from 2001 to 2018, the total linear mean change for all beach segments was -81.3 m at a rate of -9.67 m / year. The average linear retreat was - 160.77 m, while the average linear advance was 79.47 m, indicating a clear erosion tendency of the Mosqueiro Island coast. From the 11 beach segments analyzed (Baia do Sol, Paraíso, Marahú, Carananduba, São Francisco, Ariramba, Murubira, Porto Arthur, Bishop / Praia Grande, Bitar), in the western part of the Island, 06 (São Francisco, Ariramba, Murubira, Porto Arthur, Bishop / Praia Grande and Bitar) showed a trend of retreat of their coastlines, presenting average rates of variation from -1.00 m / year to -3.31 m / year, the highest rate belonging to the Bishop segment /Big beach. The segments of Baía do Sol, Paraíso, Marahú, Carananduba and Farol / Chapéu Virado were the only ones that presented a tendency to advance in their coastlines, presenting values of average rates varying from 0.30 m / year to 1.74 m / year. In addition to the study of the behavior of the coastline of the western part of Mosqueiro Island, the classification of the physical vulnerability to the coastal erosion of the Island was carried out. In general, the coastal zones of the island bathed by Guajará Bay, Furo das Marinhas and Furo do Maguari were classified as "high to very high", with the exception of some sectors located in the northwest, northeast and southeast of the island. were classified as "low to moderate" vulnerability. The most localized areas in the center of the island not directly impacted by oceanographic variables were classified as "very low to moderate"vulnerability, in addition to some contiguous areas that were classified as "high" vulnerability.

The dynamics process of Mansonic Schitomiasis endemization is multifactorial, which sometimes retards it’s installation process, but also difficult the control of epidemiological surveillance. The Geo-technologies have brought contributions to the public health, creating thematic maps that make easier understand of dynamic population at space used, and their interrelationship with the water resources and with the sickness process. The proposal of this work was to identify through spatial analysis the eco-epidemiological factors related with the Mansonic Schitosomiasis endemization. It was achieved a descriptive study in two coverage areas from Family Health Strategy, Carananduba and Furo das Marinhas, In Mosqueiro District, Belém-PA, between 2010 and 2012, using geoprocessing Techniques like: Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), through the tools: ERDAS 8.3.1 and ENVI 4.5, for classification of these satellites images, with the variables: Soil, vegetation cover and hydrography; The Global Positioning System (GPS) for georreferencing at study area and capturing collecting points of breeding sites; and ARCGIS 9.3.1 for manipulation and teatring of the Geographic Data Banks and Kernel estimation for identification of risk zones about high resolution satellite images and cartographic bases. Were analyzed, also, environmental and ecological data through geoprocessing techniques. The geo-technologic tools producing thematic maps of Family Health Strategic abrangency, the work routes, environmental classification, and the localization of breeding sites that generating seven agglomerated Kernel points that identified the risk zones of transmission aggravating in 3 boroughs of Carananduba Zone. This zone has been presenting antrophic characteristics due disordered human occupation and hydro siltation collections. The Furo das Marinhas area still keeps native forest and great quantity of hydro collections yet and not being found Biomphilaria. In both studied areas the structure of sanitation is insufficient, and isn’t still there focus active of transmission from Mansonic Schitosomiasis. However, could be a great vulnerability in a short time to happen this incidence at Caranaduba area. So, the geo-technologies applied have enabling a geographic information system that made feasible the diagnostic of risk on the process of Mansonic Schitosomiasis Endemization in more than one location in Para.

Schistosomiasis mansoni (SM) is an endemic parasitic disease that occurs in at least 74 countries with illness of 25 million people, including Brazil. It is related to socioeconomic and environmental factors, with emphasis on migratory movements that contribute to the spread of this disease. In northern Brazil only the state of Para has focus of this disease, the main in the city of Belem. The urban sprawl through the occupation of peripheral areas of the metropolitan area of Belem has generated significant social and environmental impacts, reaching areas of environmental preservation. From an ecosystemic perspective, the study assessed the possibility of expansion of SM in the insular area of the one administrative districts of Belem, in Mosqueiro (DAMOS), where there was the environmental characterization, malacological, parasitological and population surveys. Georeferencing techniques were used for spatial analysis of the study area, interview questionnaire at home and collection of material for parasitological examination. The approach adopted for determining the sample size calculation was based on the territory coverage of the family health strategy of the Belem Municipal Health Department. Thus, was realized the zoning of the study area, where Biomphalaria sp. breeding places were found. And was adopted a 50m radius buffer (north, south, east, west), from each breeding. Inside this area size, with the help of GPS technology, has set up a sample of 491 households with an estimate of 5.31 residents per household, with the exclusion of closed or abandoned households obtained the sample of 283 households for visitation with 421 participants. It was necessary to create the schistosomiasis vulnerability index (SVI) for better information with regard the interpretation of the data. The results showed that the DAMOS presents all environmental and population characteristics of the different endemic areas of Brazil; the malacological survey identified 30 breeding of planorbids; presence of the species B. straminea not infected with S. Mansoni; very low sewage network coverage, water and increase the migratory process in disordered occupation areas with populations from endemic areas for SM.The majority of study participants reside in areas considered of medium vulnerability, however 16% are in areas of high vulnerability; the area of Carananduba was considered the highest susceptibility and increased risk potential for entry of SM in Mosqueiro district. The spatial analysis of vulnerability to schistosomiasis in the study area, has led not only support the hypothesis of endemicity of SM in DAMOS, but to show where the first outbreak may occur, what and where the major risk factors are. This study may help in the management processes in public health with the implementation of preventive measures of health education, epidemiological and environmental surveillance.

The extension of Brazil's Family Health Program Teams through the introduction of Oral Health Teams (OHT) as required by Decree N° 1,444 dated December 28, 2000, was an important step in the restructuring of the Oral Healthcare System, ensuring easier access to good quality dental care and treatment for less privileged segments of the population. In the Mosqueiro district of Pará State, an Oral Health Team was added to the Family Health Program in 2002, working closely with the local community through home calls and school visits, as well as at the Family Health Unit. In order to assess these Oral Health activities, 103 users of the Family Health Program Unit responded to a questionnaire with closed and semi-open questions in July 2004. The resulting data were tabulated, showing that most of these users were young adult women with high school diplomas but lacking access to higher education. This public felt that Oral Health quality had improved considerably, being satisfied with the performance of the current team.

Macrobrachium amazonicum is the most commercially-explored fresh water shrimp in the Amazon, finding great acceptance in the consuming market. The objective of this work is to characterize the structure and the ultrastructure of the gonads of different M. amazonicum morfotipos in natural population. The shrimps (500 specimen) were collected in Furo das Marinhas (Mosqueiro – PA), by local fishermen and brought alive to the Laboratório, in an appropriate box containing local water. Fifty males were selected, weight, measured and killed. Gonads were collected and fragments were fixed in 2,5% glutaraldehyde 4% paraformaldehyde in sodium caccodylate buffer at 0,1M pH 7,2. For light microscopy the fragments were processed according to the standard histological technique for paraffin embedding. The sections were stained with Hematoxilin and Eosin. For transmission electron microscopy the gonads were post-fixed with 1% osmium tetroxide in sodium caccodylate buffer at 0,1M pH 7,2 and processed for embedding in Epon resin. Semithin sections were stained with toluidin blue. For scanning electron microscopy the fixed and post-fixed specimens were dehydrated, submitted to the critical CO2 drying point and then coated with gold and examined in electron microscope. Four morfotips in natural population were observed, in agreement with corporal dimensions and coloration. The morfotips were denominated as TC, CC, GC and GC’ according to Moraes-Riodades (2002). The biometric relation total/length cephalothorax and total/weight had presented negative allometrie. The testicles and are located in the cephalothorax. The testicle is constituted by seminiferous tubules; each tubule presents a very thin capsule of conjunctive tissue that divides the parenquime of the organ. The tubule is covered by flat cells and in its interior we observed a cell population of spermatogenic lineage in different maturation phases that were denominated as: spermatogônias, spermatocytes, spermatids and spermatozoids. The spermatogonias are the largest cells with cromatina organized in clots, located eccentrically in the tubule. The spermatocytes are round cells with cromatina in dense clots. The spermatids are small cells with great amounts of mitochondria. The spermatozoids are concave cells in the apical portion and convex cells in the distal portion, presenting a small spike assuming an aspect similar to a cup. In cross section, the vas deferens come covered by conjunctive tissue and they can present from a cubic to a cylindrical epithelium; they present in their interior an agglomeration of feeder cells located in the eccentric portion and spermatozoids located in the lumen of the ducts. The structural analysis of the M. amazonicum gonads, demonstated the of three distinct morfotips in the Furo das Marinhas.

This work was made from a supposing that the Reading is one of the paths which the student develop knowledge and it´s one of the tools for a critical construction´s human being, somebody who uses his/her speakings and able to interact in an efficient way with his/her surrounding people. In this context, we discuss about a school ´s need , it has to lead a role play not only in the reader´s formation, but as well as a space to the development from the reader´s student. From this language interracionalist´s conception, mainly based in Bakhtin and Menegassi, we discuss this necessity and we ask, from a previously approach with a eighth year classroom from the elementary school from Mosqueiro, what can be done so that the student show a development and reading autonomy ? Trying to answer this question which bother us, we had to identify an objective, from some activities perspective, some advances in the reader´s development from the students, so that it could become an expert reader and able to evolve in the most several communicative intereactions. From this signal given by the students in this previous activity, we can verify that the classroom had some difficulties since their understanding´s level until the reading retention´s level . Through this, we proposed a work with reading´s activities, focused in the decodification´s levels, understanding, interpretation and retention, until to arrive at activities culminating with the Touristic reports´gender. From this result on , we noticed some advances in their reading from the third activity on, when we started reading´s strategies, such as resumes´production, presented by Solé (1998). In the later activities, we verified that the students were increasing their knowledge and improving their development in the steps from this reading process. Finally, we testified, that the most of the students, an appropriation from reading steps, when the readers- students made some interviews and they got, from these interviews, retextualize to the Touristic reports´gender applying, indeed, some strategies such as those learned at resume´s work, informations´selection made, besides their criticism´s display revealed during this process, that it finished with a touristic reportmagazine´s production.
