A arquitetura dos espaços pedagógicos como instrumento de ensino das ciências ambientais: um estudo de caso realizado em Ipixuna do Pará

The present study was developed in E.M.E.F Maria Pereira Freire, located in center neighborhood, urban area from Ipixuna county, belonging to the northeast of Pará, to a distance of nearly 250 km from Belém, and have as intent come up with adjustments in the architecture of the physical spaces with new dimension for pedagogical environments so that the natural resources can be relished as a way to optimize the teaching of environmental sciences in the basic education. It was suggested to implant a architecture model that seeks to value the environment through the insertion of biophilic design with the creation of learning spaces that use the interdisciplinarity to increase the environmental teaching in the basic education, through the relation of human-nature. Has been shown to this academy department how they can use the rooms inside the school to improve projects that develop environment education, in order to be possible to, in a primary education, search for an awareness of the students and that can be reflected in a more sustainable society. In this analysis was used the action research method, with qualitative-quantitative analysis, between a bibliographic review and data collection and analysis. For the data collection a quiz semi-structured was applied for the teachers. In the matter of the elaboration of the educational environment product, was used specific softwares (AutoCad, Sketchup and V-ray). The process of validation happened with a presentation of project images and the application of the quiz headed to two groups: the teachers and engineering professionals. After the validation, realized that is in complete agreement the implementation of this technical educational product. Subsequently, this product will be suggested to the municipal public administration so that its implementation serves as a pilot project for other schools in the municipality.

Governança pública municipal: uma análise dos mecanismos de liderança, estratégia e controle em municípios de pequeno porte da mesorregião nordeste paraense

The dissertation examines municipal public governance, focusing on leadership, strategy and control mechanisms in the city halls of small municipalities in Northeast Pará, highlighting the importance of these mechanisms for municipal administrative efficiency. A significant gap is observed in the understanding and effective implementation of public governance, particularly in the components of leadership, strategy and control, which are often misunderstood or underutilized by municipal managers. Given this finding, the study aims to answer the question: How do managers of small municipalities in the northeastern mesoregion of Pará interpret and implement public governance mechanisms (leadership, strategy and control) within city halls and municipal departments, in light of guidelines established by the Federal Audit Court (TCU)? Faced with this issue, the objective of the research is to analyze the implementation and understanding of public governance mechanisms in the city halls studied, with the aim of identifying effective practices and areas for improvement. To this end, the Theoretical Framework for public governance was adopted, with a particular focus on the frameworks and guidelines established by the TCU. The methodology adopted is qualitative, using semistructured interviews with municipal managers to collect data, followed by a content analysis of the responses to extract insights into governance practice. The results indicate a heterogeneous and often limited understanding of public governance by managers, with notable deficiencies in the application of leadership, strategy and control mechanisms. From this, the need for better training and resources for managers is discussed, with the aim of strengthening governance in municipalities. The study concludes that there is a considerable path to be taken to achieve effective governance in small city halls, with suggestions for future research and public policies aimed at the continuous improvement of municipal governance.

Impactos das mudanças de uso da terra nas áreas prioritárias para conservação da biodiversidade no nordeste do estado do Pará, Brasil

The Northeastern region of Pará (MNP) has 56.4% of its deforested territory. However, the region has great ecological importance, which can be demonstrated by the identification of 28 Priority Areas for Conservation (CPA) within the scope of the Project for the Conservation and Use of Brazilian Biological Diversity (PROBIO). The objective of this work was to identify and quantify the vegetation cover and land use in the MNP and compare it with the priority areas for biodiversity conservation. To fulfill the objectives, we used vector land use and land cover data with the APC and protected areas of the region. The results show that only 3% of the CPA are under some protection. Areas identified as ‘extremely high’ priority have already lost 55.6% of their original forest cover, while ‘very high’ priority areas have lost its original forest cover by 49%. It is essential to expand the environmental protection system in the region.

Socialização de agricultoras no movimento de mulheres do nordeste paraense

This study is empirical. It is based on experience of a qualitative nature that searches to analyze historically the Movement of Women of the Northeast State of Pará (MMNEPA) and their role as social agents. This study takes into account: the processes responsible for the socialization of women farmers and their insertion into this process; how women influence the socialization of one another and does this reflect on the continuation of the movement; how does the movement socialize all men participating there and how do these men influence the socialization of the women in the movement. For the collection of data, I used principally the documentary study which was produced by the very MMNEPA; direct and participative observation and interviews. The observation took place during the period from January 2007 to January 2008 and the interviews from October 2007 to January 2008. It was concluded that MMNEPA while being a social agent, uses their formation experiences as an instrument for demonstrating their results on women which help them to interact among themselves thus making the movement selfsufficient and strong.
