The language of cinema presents possibilities that allow us to evoke the human fascination for images, something we’ve inherited from photography itself, and it also provides a multiple, collective and individual experience when we think about the environment where it occurs, be it a movie theater or the screen of a smartphone. These qualities ignite in us the identification-projection, a process through which we project our own selves on the characters who, in their turn, come alive through us. This work reflects on how cinema, through film, promotes learning that goes beyond the action of making school content and scientific concepts didactic, when we amplify the conceptual expression of Edgar Morin of cinema as a school for life. Such a reflection is carried out through bibliographical research starting from Edgar Morin’s studies on cinema and the Brazilian post-graduate scientific production on the topic, especially as it concerns science fiction in the teaching of school science. Eventually, discussing the movie Contagion (2011), we endeavor to understand, through reflections which seek to provide answers to the covid-19 sanitary crisis, what the cinema school of life can teach us through the narrative of a pandemic scenario which projects realities based on the imagery of a future that has already arrived.

This work had as its theme the discussion of educational law and policies, emphasizing Youth and Adult Education - EJA in times of pandemic in the bragantina Amazon. The objective of the investigation was to analyze the scope of the right to education for young people and adults in the face of Brazilian educational policies and in times of pandemic in the bragantina Amazon. The methodology used was concerned with encompassing a qualitative approach, through documentary research articulating information from EJA opinions and legislation / statistics in the municipality of Bragança-PA, in order to cross the data and information in a circular movement (SAMPIERI, CALLADO & LUCIO, 2013) and qualify the analysis corpus. The surveyed results show old and new questions about Youth and Adult Education based on compensatory policies for decreasing time and content, closing classes, reducing enrollment, closing specific programs for EJA, further aggravated in pandemic times due to silencing before guaranteeing access to educational institutions to the public of this teaching modality.

Thisresearch aimsto look into the educational experience of the CommunityRadio of the Municipality of Primavera-Pará as a didactic-pedagogical tool for the dissemination of educational contents in Science, contributing to the integral formation of 4th and 5th year students during the Covid-19 pandemic. We approach the characteristics, themes and educational curriculum of the municipality as strategies and source of educational information on the contents of the referred discipline. Based on interviews with teachers, parents and students about radio and its role as a broadcaster of teaching and learning in this pandemic period, we sought to analyze the social context, marks, impacts and characteristics of this remote education. The main theoretical and methodological framework provides a brief review of the use of radio for education. We see the importance of radio for the Amazon, as well as for the Primavera community, even in a time of effervescence on the internet and social networks, with an emphasis on the relationship established between listeners and speaker teachers/students. The qualitative analysis also showed us that the school public is the one that most participates in the broadcasts, as well as the public of parents and teachers from other cities are also present, making us have new subsidies for the analysis of the current research context.

Saúde indígena no Pará e sua interface com o Covid-19: planejamento, implementação e governança
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-02-01) RODRIGUES, Rosiane Pinheiro; SIMONIAN, Ligia Terezinha Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6620574987436911; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6690-7244
Faced with the global, national and state scenario, affected by the new variant of the Coronavirus, international and national authorities launched measures that needed to be planned and implemented rigorously, in order to contain the spread of the virus and the impact of more individuals, with deaths and sequelae. This need was reinforced in the pandemic situation, based on the confirmed cases and deaths reported by COVID-19 among the indigenous peoples of the state of Pará. Thus, this thesis sought to analyze the processes of planning and implementing actions and services aimed at indigenous health, during this period of pandemic due to COVID19. To conduct this process, a mixed study was adopted, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, using a specialized bibliography focused on regionalization, indigenous health, interdisciplinarity, impacts of COVID-19, care networks, with historical documentation, regulations, theses, and scientific articles. The complexity posed by this study also required different methodologies, which helped the researcher understand and analyze the facts and phenomena from different perspectives, thus enabling interdisciplinary dialogue. Thus, descriptive-exploratory qualitative research was adopted and, therefore, a documentary analysis was carried out, based on the contingency plans against Covid-19 of the Special Secretariat for Indigenous Health, of the state of Pará, of the Special Indigenous Health Districts of Pará and strategic municipalities, as well as the analysis of vaccination coverage and morbidity and mortality data of each district. As results found, it is important to mention that there was no planning linked to the municipalities as governed by legislation, the implementation of contingency plans had an impact on vaccination coverage and morbidity and mortality indicators, despite the “biases” of the route and the governance of actions and services during the pandemic they were “crossed” by macro and micropolitics that historically persist. There have been many advances, but there are still challenges to be overcome in the spaces of macro and micro politics of meetings between districts and municipalities, between districts and the Department of Public Health of the State of Pará, between districts and the Special Secretariat for Indigenous Health, in the regions and macro-regions of Pará. Seeking strategies and strengthening existing ones, such as the steering group and the interagency commissions with indigenous health, can be a path to governance.
