Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Classificação da informação: uso interno o pensamento algébrico mediado pelo jogo de cartas RFP(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-11-10) SILVA, Maico Tailon Silva da; NUNES, José Messildo Viana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5188612973174798; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9492-4914In this research we expose results of studies and creation developed based on the possible relationship between card games and the Rule of False Position (RFP), whose intersection enabled the constitution of the RFP card game contributor to studies related to the polynomial equation of the first degree, through numerical processes, reassembling ways/ways of perceiving and manipulating mathematical elements, especially under the algebraic domain, promoted in Egyptian, Babylonian and Chinese civilizations, whose abilities were preponderant to the development of algebraic knowledge. We aim to highlight the potentiality present in a numerical method in the combination with card games, enabling good mathematical learning especially related to polynomian equations of the first degree, propitiating the development of algebraic thought from its characterizations. We list it as a research question: to what extent does the False Position Rule (RFP) combined with a card game promote the development of algebraic thinking in the teaching of polynomian equations of the first degree? We collected the data for empirical analysis through the use of the game with teachers and in a class of the 8th year of elementary school. We used the methodological assumptions of didactic engineering in our qualitative research, under the bases of an action research. We report on the theoretical aspect of research to official educational documents such as PCN, BNCC and others, as well as the contributions of Guy Brousseau with the Theory of Didactic Situations (TSD) and the model related to algebraic thought according to James Kaput and Juan Godino. Our research generated as an educational product the rfp card game that is attached.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Tarefas exploratório-investigativas para o desenvolvimento do pensamento algébrico nos anos iniciais: uma experiência para se pensar a relação ensino-aprendizagem-avaliação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-12-12) MESCOUTO, Juliana Batista; LUCENA, Isabel Cristina Rodrigues de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3255121871351967; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9515-101XThis research aimed to investigate the manifestations of students in the early years in relation to the potential of exploratory-investigative teaching-learning-assessment tasks for the development of algebraic thinking. The theoretical contribution that guides this study is in the debates regarding the assessment for learning and the exploratory-investigative tasks in the field of algebraic thinking. The investigative activities were developed in a public school of regular education located in a peripheral neighborhood of the city of Belém/PA, in a class of the 4th year composed by 24 students, being 13 boys and 11 girls, aged between nine and ten years. The class was chosen because the students had not yet experienced experiences involving activities for the development of algebraic thinking. The investigative path was of a qualitative nature. It was based on the analysis of the development of tasks, considered as teaching-learning-assessment, carried out in the classroom by groups of students. Themes such as evaluation in the formative perspective (BLACK; WILLIAM, 1998; FERNANDES, 2009, 2011; VILLAS-BOAS, 2008), exploratory-investigative tasks (OLIVEIRA; PONTE, 1995) and the development of algebraic thinking (BLANTON; KAPUT, 2005) the theoretical framework of this research. In this sense, the exploratory-investigative tasks proved to be conducive to being worked on in the early years, mainly because it boosted the investigative spirit of students, so necessary for Mathematics, from its origin to the present day. They proved to be satisfactory to be worked on in the early years, mainly because they boosted the students' investigative spirit, they were also relevant and essential to articulate teaching-learning-assessment, through feedback directed to the development of algebraic thinking.
