Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) A temática gênero nas produções provenientes dos grupos de pesquisa da Universidade Federal do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-06-11) MAUÉS, Marilene Silva; CORRÊA, Paulo Sérgio de Almeida; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7102416953096612This paper aimed to carry out a mapping that would show the researchers scientific productions linked to groups of research in the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), it also aims to analyze how the gender theme gained evidence in researches carried out in the academic-scientific scenario of that institution, in the period of 1995-2006. Thus, the following questions had been raised: 1) What have they have been arguing about in the academic field, around the questions of gender? 2) How the scientific production generated in the data basis of research groups registered in the CNPq during the period of 1995-2006 is evidenced? 3) How the production generated by the researchers, in the research group is presented, taking into account the statistical figures in the UFPA campus in Belém? The data had been analyzed considering its quantity and quality by crossing the figures of scientific productivity - available in the site of the National Council of Scientific and Technological Development (http://www.cnpq.br) - with the theoretical references which delimitates the gender theme - Louro (2001) and Rosemberg (2001) -, aspects that allowed to make an x-ray of the production generated in the national scenario for posterior verticalization with the production research of the UFPA. Evidenced that great part of the research around the gender theme has approached allusive questions related to women and that those researches refute the explanations of biological basis in the composition of female and male, as well as they assume that culturally there is a relationship of power between opposite sexes. Moreover, the study showed that in the national panorama the genre found its place in the research group in the Human Sciences area; regarding to female participation in Science it was observed an androcentric parameter in the structure of scientific deeds, this aspect resounds in the quantitative process of academic productions of female authorship, considering that they still need to conciliate the professional career with the requirements of the private world; but, despite the male domain in the scientific productions, the studies on gender have been gaining praise in the research developed by women, not only in the national level but also in the local one. Regarding the figures of the UFPA, the gender have gained a place of prominence in the paraense production and these professionals have performed with care in that field showing a frequent production in a period of 11 years, even so they had to take on an incommensurable addition of work in consequence of the majority to be part of the teaching stuff of Post Graduation Programs in the UFPA. Thus, it is reassured that the research groups of the Institution mentioned here, even though with lesser quantitative expression in relation to the national scenario, they are of great relevance for the spread of the studies on this theme in the North region and for the projection of this university as an institutional place where the research produced guarantees national highlight.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) Análise do emprego do cálculo amostral e do erro do método em pesquisas científicas publicadas na literatura ortodôntica nacional e internacional(2011-12) NORMANDO, Antonio David Corrêa; ALMEIDA, Marco Antonio de Oliveira; QUINTÃO, Cátia Cardoso AbdoTo evaluate, quantitatively, how often the researchers of orthodontic science have used the calculation of sample size and evaluated the method error in studies published in Brazil and in the United States of America.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) Currículo e formação docente no curso de ciências sociais/UFPA: configurações, continuidades e rupturas (1963-2011)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-04-30) FREITAS, Leandro Klineyder Gomes de; HAGE, Salomão Antonio Mufarrej; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1723722364556016The thesis investigates the curricula design of the Social Sciences course of the Federal University of Pará, Belém campus in the period 1963-2011, with the main objective to reflect on the place of the teacher education course in that, in view of the relationship that established between the baccalaureate and graduation. More specifically, the study intends to investigate and analyze the main guidelines that were established by the curriculum proposals for teacher education, as well as identify the curricula design were structured for that course and how they are addressed disciplines geared for graduation. The survey was conducted from bibliographic survey on the topic in physical libraries and database virtual documental research on curricular designs, resolutions, menus and more. We also used the semi-structured interviews with faculty professor in order to deepen and clarify issues not contained in the documents. The study used as the main theoretical contributions of critical theory in the curriculum, especially the works of Michael Young, Basil Bernstein, Antônio Flávio Moreira other entres. The research results revealed that the local settings of the course curricula designs of Social Sciences is due in large part to structural factors of the Brazilian educational system and the consolidation of post-graduation in mid-1960 and early 1970, contributed to increase the hierarchization between teaching and research between undergraduate and graduate school, between the school and the academic field in Social Sciences. The restatements curricula occurred in the course of Social Sciences curriculum standards maintained for most courses of Social Sciences in the country since its creation. The curricula design of the course of Social Sciences analyzed guided by a conception of teacher education based on the model of technical rationality that favors the separation between education content and education pedagogical, theory and practice. Despite numerous reformulations curricula occurred in the course of these changes Social Sciences held a disciplinary organization structure under the collection type of curriculum, where single subjects are oriented to their own development and protected by strong boundaries and hierarchies. The curriculum collection characterized by classification and framing strong promotes isolation between areas of knowledge which contributed to the rigid demarcation of borders between the field of Social Sciences and Education, between education oriented researcher and education oriented teacher.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Um estudo sobre intelectuais negros na academia entre 1970 e 1990: trajetória acadêmica de Florentina da Silva Souza(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-04-25) RODRIGUES, Édina do Socorro Gomes; COELHO, Wilma de Nazaré Baía; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1035616337472088This study from the description of the academic trajectory of professor Florentina da Silva Souza presents how was the entrance of the black researchers in the university courses of postgraduate. We sought from the trajectory of the researcher understand how the studies developed for black intellectuals had impacting in the fight against racial discrimination in Brazil, identifying some difficulties found by blacks in the academic space to bring the racial issue as the central object of their analysis. The clipping time of the research focuses on the end of the 1970s and the 1980s and 1990s, period in which Brazil enter into a process of democratization after military dictatorship, moment when the black movement was reorganized and developed pressuring the government for that racial issue would become part of the political agenda. In describing the academic trajectory of professor Florentina da Silva Souza was used as it arrives in port theoretical the conceptual notions of Pierre Bourdieu (2008, 2009), more specifically the concepts of habitus, field and cultural capital in order to understand the choices that guided the life of the researcher in professional terms. As the methodological approach was used the concepts of biography and context, developed by Giovanni Levi (2006), that occurs when the particulars of biography and stands in the season, the environment, factors capable to justify the attitudes of Florentina during career as a researcher. In summary, it was found with this study that the professional experience of Florentina adds to many blacks of his time and today, that although to have ascended socially and entered on the university as professor researcher, did not exempt to suffer it preconceptions, because the place of inferiority that blacks were submitted, as demonstrated in the arguments of this research was built historically by theories that placed them as "inferior beings". Although to have been disqualified, these theories still persist in the social imaginary, bringing as a consequence the preconception and discrimination which is manifested in various social institutions of the country.Artigo de Periódico Acesso aberto (Open Access) As expedições da Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine e a Amazônia Brasileira(2011-06) MIRANDA, Aristóteles Guilliod de; ABREU JUNIOR, José Maria de CastroThis paper describe the early years of the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and the expeditions to Brasilian Amazon, to the Cities of Belém and Manaus describing also what happened with the reserchers involved Herbert Durhan, Walter Myers and Harold Wolferstan Thomas.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Faces da pós-graduação stricto sensu em Educação Física no Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-06-21) PEREIRA, Marcos Augusto Carvalho; HAGE, Salomão Antonio Mufarrej; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1723722364556016The research was aimed at investigating the proposed formation of the teacher / researcher in Physical Education in the various Postgraduate Programs in Physical Education in Brazil: 1. Graduate Program in Physical Activity Sciences, University Salgado Filho - PGCAF / UNIVERSE 2. Graduate Program in Sport Sciences, Federal University of Minas Gerais - PPCE / UFMG: 3. Graduate Program in Human Movement Sciences, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - PPGMH / UFRGS; 4. Graduate Program in Human Kinetics from the University Paulista - PPGCM / UNESP: 5. Graduate Program in Physical Education, University of Sao Paulo PPGEF / USP. Documentary research and bibliographic databases for research was provided by CAPES files on the classification and names of programs as well as the pedagogical project of each institution, the content of magazines and websites of the programs and literature on the subject. The research falls within the critical research paradigm grounded in historical and dialectical materialism, as a motto scientific, philosophical and political position as a result we found that the different conceptions of programs in the area, ranging from proposals covering a wide field of research and action those that restrict the field, the many variants that go back physical education proposals that emerged in the 1970s and 1980s.Tese Acesso aberto (Open Access) A formação inicial de professores de matemática em atividades investigativas durante o estágio(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-02-08) LEVY, Lênio Fernandes; GONÇALVES, Tadeu Oliver; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6789250569319668This investigation occurred in the context of teaching formation in Mathematics, with Licensing students as teachers. These teachers were students who take part in a major subject called Advised Stage IV (focused on high school teaching) at Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Discussions about researcher-teachers and research projects elaboration occurred in meetings of planning during Advised Stage III, in the previous semester. In these meeting, we also discussed with invited speakers about: (i) trends in Mathematics Education; (ii) teaching evaluation; (iii) Mathematics Didactics and (iv) “investigation-in-class” projects. Such speeches constituted helpful and motivation sources for Licensing students, rather than suggestions of objects for students to investigate. Speeches exhorted students for reading journals, books and texts available on the internet, etc., focusing theoretical and methodological issues to research about didactic intervention. Students “researched about their teaching practice” in a laboratory-school, where they disposed of agreement of the school community. In turn, the author of this thesis, teacher of subjects Adviced Stage III and Adviced Stage IV, students' adviser, analyzed their research. More specifically, the author searched to answer [through qualitative analysis of: (i) dialogues; (ii) oral narration; (iii) semi-structured interviews; (iv) observation/perception; (v) (written) research reports elaborated by students; and (vi) students' responses to a semi-opened questionnaire] to the following question: “which aspects of research practices rebound in the constitution of the identity of Mathematics teachers under formation?”. Advised stage, Teaching research & Identity of the (future) Mathematics teacher were, in a complex perspective, central elements in this research. The objective was “to investigate the constitution of Mathematics teachers under formation in the realization of research activities during advised stage”. We concluded, on the occasion of the practical phase of this doctoral research, that “there was repercussion of aspects of the research practices as much in the constitution of the particular / individual dimension as in the constitution of the general / formal / conceptual dimension of the professional identity of each subject / student analyzed”.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Refletindo uma prática pedagógica no ensino de ciências baseada na alfabetização científica: relato de uma parceria entre professora e pesquisador(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2004-08-31) OLIVEIRA, Sued Silva de; GUIMARÃES, Diva Anelie de Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2891287458034896The scientific literacy has been focused for some years as a methodological trend in science teaching. Its main objective is to educate citizens and make them take part in the science course through a clearer comprehension of its goals. However, to accomplish that, it is necessary that teachers reflect on the limitations that are imposed to the teaching practice before trying to adopt a new methodology. This way, partnerships between researchers and teachers can be more efficient in the process of conducting changes in the traditional teaching. The efficiency of these partnerships is in the reflection moments that happen on the practice shared by teachers and researchers. Furthermore, the trasnformations in teaching tend to be permanent and efficient when teachers knowledge is taken into account, which makes a more autonomous pedagogic remake for teachers possible. In this paper, the reflections of a science teacher about a pedagogic proposal based on the scientific alphabetization is shown, analyzed and discussed. It is used an action research in order to establish a partnership between the teacher and the researcher. For this purpose, first the initial teachers formation and her school daily profile are reviewed. Then, the teachers reflection about the pedagogic activity is stressed. This research aims to underline the importance of partnerships between teachers and researchers who pursues the development of teaching practice through reflection. It was verified that the effected partnership was useful, since it enabled the teacher to have a more investigating perspective about her practice, that is, it made her question it and propose new ways.Dissertação Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trabalho do pesquisador docente: análise das vivências profissionais de pesquisadores (as) de um Programa de Pós-Graduação da Região Norte do Brasil(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2024-09-29) BRASIL, Maria Clara Acacio de Oliveira; OLIVEIRA, Paulo de Tarso Ribeiro de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9266787581530443; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1969-380XWork makes up a considerable portion of people's time in the most diverse realities and contexts within the capitalist system in which the world is organized. Work activity defines the way a person lives, relates and accesses the world around them. Considering the weight of work, the Psychodynamics of Work theory analyzed several aspects related to this and approached work as a producer of pleasure and suffering. The aforementioned theory brought the dynamism inherent to work and exposed that the organization and conditions of work are among the determinants of the experiences lived by each worker. In this sense, the objective of the research proposed here was to analyze the experiences of a specific category of workers: researchers and university professors inserted in a Postgraduate Program in human sciences at a public university in the northern region of Brazil. The proposal takes into account the relevance of producing research work within the university environment after years of attack on the sciences, in addition to giving emphasis to researchers located in a region with the lowest social indicators in the country in terms of economic and social development, which requires a great deal of academic effort to produce quality science. The research methodology adopted was from a qualitative perspective, of the case study type, in which the methodological techniques used were: application of individual semi-structured interviews with researchers/teachers and subsequent systematization, analysis and discussion of the information collected. The analysis of the interviewees' statements was carried out using the Content Analysis technique, with the Psychodynamics of Work as its central theoretical contribution. The main results were aspects of work organization that lead to overload and extrapolation of working hours, as well as a productivist logic of work production, in addition, working conditions were found full of infrastructural deficiencies, furthermore it was evident in the research that cooperation is full of counterpoints and suffers losses due to the way the work is organized; finally, despite the impasses encountered at work, teachers demonstrated great pleasure in the recognition present in relationships with students, peers and other university workers.
