Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Desenvolvimento de monitoramento remoto em um sistema híbrido isolado de pequeno porte(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08-07) CAVALCANTE, Renato Luz; PINHO, João Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0847897516772421; MACÊDO, Wilson Negrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3386249951714088This work aims to evaluate the difficulties and applicability of the remote monitor-ing of an off-grid system, involving actual systems under operation that can help identi-fying the main causes that influence these devices’ life cycle, making it possible to pro-pose strategies and technologies that increase system’s reliability, a more adequate con-figuration and reduce the overall cost of the system over its useful life. Thus, a remote monitoring system based in LabVIEW was incorporated to an isolated hybrid system in-stalled in a floating located in the shore of the lake at the city of Tefe-AM. The generation system was firstly composed by a photovoltaic generator (PV) with 2.08kWp of power and two sub-generators of 1.04kWp each, being enlarged after to 2.6kWp plus 350Wp of wind generation. Furthermore, a bank of electrochemical accumulators with nominal volt-age of 24V and composed by 20 batteries of 150 Ah each, two charge controllers 24V/40A and a sine wave inverter of 1500VA. Operational results presented in this work helps in the better understanding of the operation of these systems and helps to evaluate the barriers found in the remote monitoring of these units. This experiment was accom-plished in partnership with the laboratory of the Group of Studies and Development of Energy Alternatives at Federal University of Para with the Nucleus of Technological In-novation of the Institute of Sustainable Development Mamiraua.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Monitoramento do desempenho de diferentes tecnologias de módulos fotovoltaicos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08-07) BRAGA JÚNIOR, Wilson; PINHO, João Tavares; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0847897516772421; MACÊDO, Wilson Negrão; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3386249951714088This work consists in an experimental analysis of 13 photovoltaic modules and 5 different technologies. For this, a test field for module measurement under real sun conditions was installed in the outdoor area of the Grupo de Estudos e Desenvolvimento de Alternativas Energéticas at the Universidade Federal do Pará, being the tests realized in the period between 21/10/2013 to 30/08/2013. Those measurements allowed the acquisition of the principal variables of interest of this kind of applicattion, which are: solar radiation, module temperature, module’s voltage, current and IV curve. With the obtained data was possible to evaluate the most important photovoltaic parameters such as efficiency, performance ration, productivity, among others. These quantities determine the generation characteristics of this kind of equipment and are very important to understand its operation; these quantities are presented in detail in graphical format throughout the text. In addition, this study brings other contributions, like the description of the system developed for the data processing, the experiences during the monitoring period, an overview of the state of art for photovoltaic modules and an analysis of the shading influence on the photovoltaic module’s performance.
