Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Epopéia e transculturação em “Nativo de câncer”, de Ruy Barata(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-04-06) CONCEIÇÃO, Laurenice Nogueira da; FERNANDES, José Guilherme dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7023812449790431This work establishes a dialogue between the poem "the native of cancer," the Para Ruy Paranatinga Barata, and the concept of transculturation Angel Rama. The stylistic analysis will be proposed by Carlos Reis (1976), according to which both the formal aspects linguistics as their transgression in the text contribute to its significance, including dialoguing with the context. The poem is discussed under the assumption that he was a modern epic of the Amazon, in which lyrical and epic amalgamate as Emil Staiger(1977), and from which the concept coined by Rama in the literature relates to the idea of regionalism and the same author of modernity, according to Baudelaire. Thus , we present the poem and its historical and literary context relating poetic form and content to the concepts of transculturation , modernity , epic, mediation and autonomy and engagement.We will see that in their structure the external elements, as a society, history and biography become internal, mainly by the use of the image, becoming a part of the text structure, as postulated Antonio Candido (2006).Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) As formas do mito nos cantares amazônicos do poeta João de Jesus Paes Loureiro(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-06-25) SILVA, Nivaldo Carlos Lima da; CASTILO, Luís Heleno Montoril del; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3519128535996125It analyses the poems from Amazon Trilogy objectifying to point out how the poet relives and recreates a little bit about the History of Amazon. Concepts theorical-methodologies from own poet like semiotic conversion, negative epiphany and others beyond to use works which retract the situation of Amazon region since 1950, period of implantation of development project to modernization itself. Poems will be read at light from this cultural e historic context which the new capitals arrived to region breaking the relationship in this place. How it was the process? And which the consequences to the primitive populations and to nature which to change in paradox space of civilization and barbarian, product of exploration and greed, perturb the Amazon man? How process itself the passage from a mythical thought to a rationally, so the mythical deslegend and the vision of city like space of ruin: memory and forgetfulness and also of vices in this route between poetry and reality is that realize who poet to gather from his context the raw material to the poetry changing the reality like aesthetics material, isn’t to aesthetic the misery , but how way to give poetical form to historical time that cross and it is crossed like myth, or poetical forms of myth.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Identidade e erotismo em Batuque, de Bruno de Menezes(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-04-27) SANTOS, Josiclei de Souza; CASTILO, Luís Heleno Montoril del; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3519128535996125It analyses, using cultural studies tools, the eroticism in Batuque by Bruno de Menezes, read to be studied the black identity. The selected poems as corpus to this thesis were Cantiga de Batuque (motivo)*, ALMA e Ritmo da Raça and Oração da cabra preta. In order to realize the research, was studied the eroticism concept, firstly related to the body, after, to the holy, presented as black identity manifestations. S. Eliot, James Joyce, Robert Stock, Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman and Ezra Pound, occurs in the literary work of Mario Faustino. According to Bosi (1994) and Benedito Nunes (1985), the poetry of Faustino results of the various authors that he read in different moments, as in: Mallarme, Yeats, Rilke, cummings, Joyce and Pound, From Pound he used the motto “make it new”. The motto of Pound takes back directly or indirectly the voice of other authors in some of Faustino's poems. This fact was always taken as practical confirmations. That’s how we defined some parameters to choose which authors would be studied: We are going to use only Anglophone authors, and among them, only authors that Faustino translated in some literary supplement and in one magazine. Going from these points, the authors were divided in two cycles: The North cycle that contains the Art-Literature supplement and the North magazine; the Southeast that contains the Poetry-Experience supplement. In both cycles, we try to demonstrate how the author’s presences are felt in Faustino's works, by means of the creations of new poems based by the poems of Anglophone authors or by means of the incorporations of elements that define the characteristics of a single Anglophone author. In this work it is presented some considerations according to: Chaves (1986) Kristeva (1974) e Bakhtin (2003; 2006), Santiago (1978), Nunes (1985; 1986; 1997; 2009) e Campos (1977; 1992).According to Compagnon (2007) we can notice the reconstruction of the words. In this case, In this case, in the analyzes of the translations made by Faustino and his own work in which each step is a bond of an immense plot that links this text to other read texts and that were “cut out”, that are manipulated by one person at the same time author and reader (Faustino). This way the author/ reader, has practice working on quoting, that means, retell what was told by others.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mito e epopéia na modernidade: uma leitura de “O Nativo de Câncer”, de Ruy Barata(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-04-13) CARNEIRO, Tiago da Fonseca; FERNANDES, José Guilherme dos Santos; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7023812449790431This thesis analyses O Nativo de Câncer, by Ruy Barata, which was first published as a fragment in 1960. We aim to study the mythological and epic elements present in the composition of the poem O Nativo de Câncer. In the first chapter we will study the myth by presenting the ideas of Mircea Eliade about its the occurrence in the traditional societies through the text Myth and Reality. We will also present Roland Barthes’ thinking in the text Mythologies, which approaches the ways myth occurs in the contemporaneity. Additionally we will draft the concepts about Epic by contextualizing its occurrence in Greece and by indicating its configurations, which will be contextualized posteriorly. In the second chapter we will deal with the narratives of naturalists and studious who traveled to Amazon in the last centuries, so that we comprehend how the foundation myths occur in the region and how Ruy Barata tries to untie them through his modern poetry. In the third chapter we will analyze the two chants of the poem O Nativo de Câncer with aid of Leo Spitzers “Genetic Stylistics”, justifying the use of certain rhetorical figures, so that we present in which moments and ways the poem can be similar to the myth and Epic and how these configurations express the native poets fight for the poetry in the Amazon Literature.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Murilo Mendes: pânico, amor e poesia: uma leitura de A Poesia em Pânico à luz do surrealismo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-09-19) SALES, Maria Domingas Ferreira de; SILVA, Joel Cardoso da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6918547599708778This research privileges, a priori, five concerning important aspects to the influence of the Surrealism in Murilo Mendes's literary production, especially in the Poetry in Panic, such as: the poetic of the construction for roads of the denial; the conciliation of objects and you idealize divergentes that waives for the search of the totality; the double, indirectly linked to the fears of the repression; the woman and the love, as necessary confluences for the establishment of the project of surrealist construction; and the poetry as space of the saving word. Such aspects are in consonance with the studies proposed by André Breton, Ferdinand Alquié, Chénieux-Gendron, Walter Benjamin and other. Related to the production of poets simbolistas and surrealist, the work in focus lets to illustrate for some artistic works of the painter paraense Ismael Nery, with whom Murilo Mendes establishes great friendship, and fragments of such poets' texts like Artur Rimbaud, Charles Baudelaire, Lautréamont, Stéphane Mallarmé, André Breton. Murilo Mendes, for who the ideas don't have borders, was one of the most representative authors of the surrealist writing in Brazil that, although notified here in just one of your works, constitutes permanent line in all your poetic path.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A voz do silêncio na poesia de Max Martins(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-03-17) BARBOSA, Thiago de Melo; FERRAZ, Antônio Máximo von Sohsten Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5982898787473373This paper interprets the poetry of Max Martins, focusing, mainly, the opening that it offers to happen the silent of language. It is thought here in the silence as a question that speaks, and is confused with the question of the essence of language and therefore also with the essence of the poetic. Thus, the dissertation unfolds in poetic-philosophical discussions, articulating these two creative spheres in various dimensions in which the work Martiniana manifests the silence: in language, in dialogue with Eastern thought and poetry, eroticism and verbivocovisuality. Search up listening to the "voice of silence", as it appears in the title of the work. In this journey, important to say, reflections implemented by the German philosopher Martin Heidegger on language, as well as his ideas about poetic hermeneutics, are of great value. Indeed, beyond Heidegger, there are other thinkers whose names echo through this work, but the German is noteworthy, because the comprehension of the essence of language as silent speech finds shelter both in his philosophy as in the poetic work of Max Martins. Doing a dialogue between poetry and philosophy on what they have in common — the thought of questions —, here was not applied a previous theory to the happening of art. It was attempted, instead, take along this interpretive journey the listening of poetic that the martinianos texts puts in work.
