Cooperativa agrícola resistência do Tocantins - CART: alternativa de organização sócio-produtiva do pequeno produtor rural em Cametá/Pará

This thesis is an analysis of strategies for small farmers organized in cooperatives in search of job security and income in Cametá City, Pará. In this way, it was considered initially influences the conditions for social integration, productive and economic incentives and the Prelature and advisory institutions that reinforced the organization. In this way, the Union of Rural Workers struggles of demand led to the improvement of socioeconomic conditions in Cametá City. The theoretical reflections and practical reality, these actors, show that the relationships have been articulated to promote a view of the changes that have impacted this city, which has been compounded since the implementation of major projects in the Amazon, such as the deployment of Hydroelectric Tucuruí, which significantly changed the lifestyle of this population. Thus, the Rural workers, organized collectively, now play for overcoming these difficulties through productive activities as a strategy for local sustainable development, highlighting instruments to guarantee the production and marketing of fruits, with emphasis on açaí, but also in other products such as cassava flour and recently oilseeds. Therefore, it develops a socio-productive from Cametá, analyzes the rise of STR - Cametá, the creation of the CART, specifying their relationship marketing strategies in the network through the organization of the Consortium of Trade and the Federation of Cooperatives Family Farming and Solidarity Economy - FECAFES productive as an instrument of strategic value to the organization of small farmers from Cametá.

O Dimensionamento das trajetórias tecnológicas de base agrária na Região Tocantina e suas implicações para o desenvolvimento local

The usual pattern of the rural capitalist development in Amazônia is based on the agricultural paradigm and on technologic employment paths, which are anchored to traditional institutions which reverts its favor to benefit of public politics for the rural segment expressed by the volume of credit accessed by these agents, while at the same time the usual pattern verified the existence of farming structures with a rationality opposite to those of the employer and with a different technological path, which participates with a representation of the rural production value, employing a larger volume of manpower and having a more efficient use of the resources at its disposal. The technological farming paths backed by the agro-forestry paradigm represented in the Tocantina Region as an alternative for sustainable development in the area and in this way, object and challenge the formation of public politics for the rural sector. So, development with social equity, ecological balance and economical efficiency in the Tocantina Region, would necessarily go through the incentives of technological procedures of farming and for changes in the institutional base that legalizes the current model.

Parceiros no crime: o regatão e a resistência cabocla na Amazônia tradicional

O texto resgata a história do "regatão" que é um comerciante ambulante que viaja entre centros regionais e comunidades amazônicas, comercializando mercadorias para pequenos produtores caboclos e comerciantes do interior em troca de "produtos regionais" agrícolas e extrativistas. É examinado neste trabalho o papel do regatão no desenvolvimento da economia regional amazônica, concentrando-se na relação entre o regatão e o caboclo, especialmente na ação do regatão na resistência cabocla. O trabalho é dividido em quatro partes. A primeira parte examina o sistema de aviamento, a segunda descreve o papel do regatão dentro dele, a terceira analisa a relação entre o regatão e a resistência cabocla no contexto do sistema de aviamento e a quarta, a evolução do papel do regatão até o presente.
