The decharacterization of tailings has become an extremely relevant and urgent topic in the contemporary global scenario. Given the recent disasters and environmental tragedies resulting from the collapse of mining dams in Brazil in 2015 and 2019, the need to implement efficient and safe processes for the deactivation and recovery of these structures has become imperative. The complexity inherent to this type of enterprise demands a careful and comprehensive approach in evaluating the available options. The simple selection of an alternative based on a single criterion, such as financial cost or deadline, for example, can result in adverse consequences and negative impacts from both a technical, economic, environmental and social point of view. Given the above, this dissertation aims to explore the importance of analyzing alternatives considering multiple criteria in the process of choosing the best solution for the mining dam decharacterization project. Through a literature review and presentation of a case study of the decharacterization of a Manganese dam using the assessment of technical, environmental, economic and socioeconomic requirements as a decisive element in choosing the solution to be detailed. The methodology consists of analyzing the proposed alternative scenarios, including the definition and weighting of the multiple variables to be evaluated. The result obtained demonstrates that the adoption of multiple criteria, which encompass not only economic aspects, but also environmental, social, technical and safety aspects, was fundamental to guarantee a well-informed and sustainable decision. It was evidenced that the analysis of multiple criteria was also able to favor the decision-making process in mining dam decharacterization solutions, facilitating traceability and understanding between the stakeholders involved in projects of this nature.

In recent years the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), among other important precautions, has invested significantly in the restructuring and expansion of its campi, the construction of new buildings, expansion and renovation of the existing ones. As in most IFES, however, the UFPA has no structure or enough time for the responsible technical crew to manage and develop constructive project execution, monitor and supervise the construction works and maintenance. The objective of this study is to make a management analyze of the construction processes at the UFPA, on the basis of the complex of buildings of the Institute of Mathematics and Science Education (IEMCI), aiming the identification and minimization of the problems presented along its flow. To do so, through a case study of the administrative procedures and other documents related to the construction of the various modules that make up the Institute, with the data collection of all the performed works, and conducting interviews, based on the Campos's model (2011), to everyone involved in the process. After analyzing the results, the conclusion was that a lack of planning and effective management of constructive processes produced several problems, among them, incomplete and flawed projects, leading to fragmented construction. The construction executed through stages cost 35.19% more than if it was performed in one step and in its entirety. And as the term, this increase was even greater, reaching 283%. Concluding that the interveners caused by fragmentation, seriously influenced on the deadline and the final cost of the construction.

Inferência fuzzy para avaliação da maturidade em gerenciamento de projetos baseado no modelo MMGP
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-11-16) MACAMBIRA, Harold Maia; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique Reis; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0850846128967798
This research presents a fuzzy inference model for evaluation of maturity in project management based on the MMGP model. Improving the accuracy of any assessment makes your result more assertive by directing initiatives correctly. You cannot manage what is not being used, and its measurement must be accurate so that the actions can be aligned with the real need, thus obtaining better results. This work seeks to improve the result of the analysis proposed by Darcy Prado [Prado 2000], where he conducts a questionnaire to score the level of maturity in project management of the organization. In view of the result of the questionnaire presented by the MMGP model, fuzzy inference is applied and the results are presented objectively, proving the best accuracy of the results. Both models, MMGP and MMGP+Fuzzy, were applied in one Company obtaining similar results, however, for the fuzzy model smoothing and accurateing the response, instead of the binary model proposed by the MMGP.

Paper that presents a discussion about the projects coordination of the buildings construction industry; it identifies the stages of the project, shows the participation of the project team during the coordination activities, presents the performance of the project coordinator and systematizes the procedures of control and feedback. Bibliographic researches about Management and Coordination of Project in the development of the design process in construction were made to develop the study. There were also made field studies, involving 10 construction companies in the urban area of Belem, which operate in the incorporation markets and/or private or public construction, to propose guidelines to project management, integrated to the development and coordination of the project. Among the results presented: 100% of the surveyed companies said that the technical planning of the project is divided in stages according to the presentation of separate flowcharts. 77.77% of the companies involved said they made the coordination of projects through meetings with the project team. Also 100% of businesses say as functions of the project coordinator, the compatibilization of projects and the maintenance of the information flow among designers. In 88.88% of companies, it was observed that the project feedback takes place through control of check list and worksheets. Finally, there are developed and presented guidelines to the application of project management in order to improve the performance of the project design process development and the buildings implementation, with the enhancement of the project and the consequent saving of resources, time and money, avoiding mistakes, waste and rework in projects.
