The natural products of the Verde para Semper Extractive Reserve include an extensive range of environmental services that, in most cases, do not have differentiated values by the formal market. It so happens that even the importance of the flow is in nature, its relative is minimal or non-existent from the point of view of the financiers of the conventional economy. In this way, more comprehensive costs and costs than forest facts can incorporate the value of forest and environmental products of importance, in view of all the costs that, all the costs of paramount importance, in all the costs of activities with the externalities generated to society, the total economic value of these environments must be incorporated. Therefore, the objective of this work is to estimate the value of the natural assets of the RESEX Verde para Semper, considering the carbon stock of the area of the trees and the total volume of the trees (benefit-cost analysis) and the Total Economic Value (VET) of the area to be managed sites from the perception of socioeconomic residents and created externally by the Community Forest Management (MFC) activity (contingent valuation method). In the benefit-cost analysis, the tree individuals included in the forest inventories of the Annual Production Units (UPA) of the Nossa Senhora do Perpétuo Socorro (Arimum), Por ti meu Deus and Paraíso do Acaraí communities were considered, obtaining the net present value forest capital (VPLCF) of: R$ 2,725,134.00 (R$ 6,776.41/ha); BRL 1,836,391.92 (BRL 4,045.36/ha-1); and R$ 650,151.92 (R$ 6,922.40/ha), respectively. The second methodology, designated by the integrated contingent valuation method (MIAC) was specified by the equations of willingness to pay (DAP) and willingness to receive (DAR), whose values were extracted from socioeconomic variables and indicators of the environmental dimension (DA) and dimension (DE), being included in the specification of the proposed econometric model. These results represent: the value that the interviewed residents are willing to pay for the preservation of the RESEX's natural assets and, thus, continue to enjoy the economic and environmental benefits promoted by the ecosystem products and services in the way that is currently being done; in addition to capturing the magnitude that they will be willing to accept, as a form of compensation, for the use of the natural capital in question. Based on the results generated by the MIAC, the average DAP value of R$ R$ 4.509,19/ha was obtained, considering the average total economic value (VET) of R$ 4.279.221,31 of the RESEX. The estimated average value of DAR was R$5.569,39/ha, reflecting a VET of R$5.285.351,11. The difference between the DAP and DAR values of only 19%, corroborates the innovative specification of the model and the efficiency of the field research. Finally, the estimated values show that local residents are aware of the magnitude of the natural resources and the socioeconomic potential of the RESEX's environmental asset, in addition to the essential role they play in their lives, as they are willing to pay high amounts for the maintenance of this asset and, thus, continue enjoying the economic and environmental benefits promoted by ecosystem products and services in the way they are currently being carried out.

This study aimed to manage the RESEX Ipaú-Anilzinho. From this formulation, we sought to answer what are the impasses regarding the creation and implementation of the Management Plan as a necessary mechanism for the functioning of the reserve? Based on that, we sought to understand the performance, positioning, vision of the actors and former actors of the RESEX Management Council and the construction of a cartographic product to assist them in the difficulties and conflicts that delay this construction. The methodology was produced by semi-structured interview, case study, content analysis, documentary and social cartography. Then, from the immersion in the reality of the actors, a cartographic map was built with 7 (seven) communities, 1 (one) more after the creation of RESEX, which identified only 6 (six), taken as an instrument to record the impasses and difficulties that focus on the search for territorial reordering by the quilombola community, disputes over areas of common use, resolution of spaces restricted by large farms, illegal sale of properties, etc. that configures content to the management plan.

Climate change is an issue that, since the last century has gained interest among scientists around the world, there are many information that have been turned to address this issue from different fronts, however, the perception of local communities is far away to be one of the most successful work topics. Brazil has a network of Extractive Reserves (RESEX), which is part of protected natural areas and where environmental managers participate who exercise control, monitoring, implementation of projects that serve as a basis for the conservation of RESEX, as well as a contact direct with local communities. Many mangrove ecosystems are concentrated in the RESEX of the Paraense coast. Around these ecosystems, traditional communities have settled that make use, enjoyment, and enjoyment of them, which have incorporated into their daily activities offered by the mangroves, which ranges from leisure, pleasure, and enjoyment to the generation of income to maintain the lifetime. In this sense, in this work the coastal region of the north of Pará was approached, the so-called Salgado Paraense with the aim of knowing the perception of local actors and the effects of climate change in this territory. To achieve this objective, the work was carried out in two phases. A first study was carried out to find out the amount of published bibliography on the perception of climate change around the world, in three main languages such as Spanish, English and Portuguese. For this bibliographic analysis, we applied natural language and machine learning to analyze more than 30,000 scientific articles. Some maps were produced on study trends, countries with major researchers interested in this topic, the methodologies used, and the approaches taken to understand the effects of climate change. Subsequently, in the second phase, surveys were applied to the environmental managers of the RESEX studied, to know their perception of climate change, interest in the adoption of adaptation strategies in the face of climate change and their perception of the role of the women in social dynamics within RESEX in the face of climate change threats. The findings suggest that studies on the perception of climate change in the coastal communities of northern Pará are necessary and have a lot of potential for their research, since the interested actors really have an affinity in adopting measures against the impacts of climate change, they show their concern about the effects on communities and mangroves, generating an alert and a call to incorporate local populations with more interest in the design and implementation of adequate and pertinent public policies. It is necessary that the actors of organized civil society, community, managers, and governments at different scales understand that the challenges are increasing to face climate change, this situation is worrying in various parts of the world, it is therefore, necessary to incorporate the vision of local communities.

This study aims to analyze the work and collective organization of women who process crabs, inside the Caeté-Taperaçu Marine Extractive Reserve, in Bragança municipality, coast of Pará State, Northern Brazil. It contri-butes to the debate on the centrality of the gender dimension within the socio-environmental development. According to the theoretical fra-mework, in this development approach, economy is embedded in society, the territorial rights of traditional peoples are guaranteed and gender equi-ty is a crucial feature, namely, the parity of participation of men and wo-men in social life. Following a qualitative methodology, observations and semi-structured interviews were carried out with 30 women in the communities of Treme, Taquandeua, Rio Grande and Vila Bonifácio, and in-depth interviews with local leaders, in order to: 1) understanding the history and the structure of crabs processing and its production chain, the women occupational trajectory, the sexual division and the conditions of labor and insertion in the market; 2) analyzing the recently created Network “Rede de Mulheres Caeteuaras”. This association wants to gene-rate income and to value the women processors as fish workers; it embra-ces ideals of gender equity and environmental conservation. The hypothe-sis of the study is that the organization of women in the Network, al-though recent, points to two directions of change: it fosters the visibility and appreciation of women's work in the fishing production chain and it enhances the socioenvironmental development of the RESEX territory. The research revealed different social forms of domestic crabs processing: the family units, the processors working for a boss and those who acquire the raw material from outside traders, process and sell. The women remain in a subordinate position, as they do not control the product, prices and demand for their work. In this scenario, the Women's Network intends to operate in an innovative way. The results show that the women participa-ting in the network become more aware of their professional status, through courses and trainings, but yet they haven’t been able to alter prevailing labor and commercialization practices. It is necessary to expand the web of partners and the social and material resources. Their projects, however, point to new market guidelines, partially confirming the research hypothesis. The community kitchen plans to associate better quality of their product, occupational health and facilities for young mothers caring for their children and reconciling work and care. The study ratifies the importance of women's organizations for sócio environmental development and they might gain the support of RESEX associations and relevant public authorities. Women crabs processsors live and participate in the Market facing structural blockages, where gender, class and cultural barriers intersect
