Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O ensino e a aprendizagem do evolucionismo nas aulas de História: uma análise junto às turmas de 6º ano da Escola Retiro Grande, município de Cachoeira do Arari, no arquipélago do Marajó, Estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-12-12) SILVA, Luiz Antônio da; COSTA, Antônio Maurício Dias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2563255308649361The research and production of dissertation aims to study, analyze and understand the teaching and learning of the origin of the human species via Evolution in the history classes of the sixth grade in a Elementary School, located in Retiro Grande Community, in Cachoeira do Ararí in the State of Pará, in Brazil. The identification of specificities and difficulties pertaining the use of such educational universe theme, as well as, offering of suggestions and theoretical-methodological possibilities, were the same procedures applied to the reseach. By this, we carry out a bibliographic survey on the subject, observations and interviews at the spot, quoted and textual production (dissertation), discussing and problematizing this reality. We have seen the existence of considerable distortions concerning the teaching and learning of Evolution in the local educational site studied. This environment is marked by traditional practices and strong religiosity. The difficulties teachers and students in the theoretical-conceptual assimilation of the theme and traditionalist nature and religious issues, were verified. We understand that they generate implications regarding the use, disposition and rejection of this theme in the school environment. Because of this, we propose, apply a pedagogical instrument (an animation in video format/slideshow) in order that he set it to theoretical-methodological element of support, encouragement and improvement of the process of teaching and learning of this theme in classes.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A Mãe e o Filho como peregrinos: dois modelos de peregrinação católica no Brasil(2013-12) MAUÉS, Raymundo HeraldoTwo ways of pilgrimage, observed in two distinct regions of Brazil. In São Paulo, in southeastern Brazil, leading to the city-Sanctuary of Bom Jesus de Pirapora, a "particular priest" imitates Christ to load huge cross that he claims to weigh more than 100 kg, on a path of about 60 km. This is done also, every year, by many others, men and women, during Holy Week, from several cities in the region, although they load much less heavy crosses. In Belém do Pará, in the Amazon, many images of our Lady of Nazareth journey through the streets of the city during the weeks immediately before the Círio de Nazaré Catholic Festival, which culminates with an enormous procession, annually, in the month of October. These two ways of pilgrimage are special, because in them whom symbolic walks are not the human pilgrims, but the son of God and his holy mother, which make this pilgrimage being "embodied" or having their images conducted by human pilgrims, of both sexes. This article aims to explore analytically symbolic aspects of these events in the light of anthropological theory, starting from field research (with direct observation) and the available bibliography on the topic. One of the goals is to show that, in the "ethics of the pilgrimage" (Victor Turner), the inventive forms of imagery allow an exchange of roles between the deity and the faithful human subjects that is perfectly suited to this possible grammar of the sacred.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Pelos caminhos da louvação: a festa de todos os santos na comunidade de Jurussaca(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-06) SILVA, Glayce de Fátima Fernandes da; SOUZA, César Augusto Martins deThis article is a section of the research engaged in the quilombola community of Jurussaca, developed to the production of a Master’s degree dissertation presented to the Linguagens e Saberes na Amazônia Post-Graduation Program (PPLSA-UFPA). The Jurussaca community is located in the city of Tracuateua/PA, within the Eastern Amazon. Their lands are defined by Silva (2014) as black and Indian lands, due to its afro-indigenous formation. Among the features of the Jurussaca community, there are highlighted their popular religiosities, even though the community presents different religious manifestations, as the official Catholic religion, the popular Catholic religion, and other Christian religions. Thereby, this article presents an interpretative study of the Festa de Todos os Santos (a popular Catholic celebration of the community), which had its origin on a promise made by ancient dwellers that pleaded for the intercession of Saint Benedict (patron of the community) and for all the saints. They pleaded that the men of the place, which had been summoned to the war, could come back alive. Once this prayer was answered, the dwellers started to keep that promise and, since then, they join a procession every year, in honor and gratitude for this blessing and other blessings achieved by them. The importance of the Festa de Todos os Santos for the identity of the community is explicit in the strength and extent of the event in/for the community. To the black rural populations, the religious celebrations have an intrinsic importance, since the real culture of the celebration evokes what keeps, in each one, the sense of belonging to the group (MOURA, 1998).Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Religiosidade, cultura e indentidade: festividade de São Brás na comunidade quilombola do Jacarequara em Santa Luzia do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018) FARIAS, Antonio EdsonItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) “Vai rolar essa diamba?”: uma etnografia de usos medicinais, religiosos e recreativos da maconha em um bairro periférico de Belém/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2023-05-26) PASSOS, Bruno Ferreira dos; DANTAS, Luísa Maria Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1573989294603242This work aims to identify and understand different uses of marijuana by residents of a neighborhood on the outskirts of Belém/PA. The presence of marijuana could be perceived in recreational, medicinal and religious contexts. People who live in the same territory experience police repression, spatial segregation, moral prohibition, and the high cost of the drug derived from marijuana in a scenario in which recreational use suffers strong repression, while medicinal use has its own consequences. discrete and selectively flexible access. I carried out this ethnography in different places within the neighborhood: the condominium - a well-urbanized leisure space with a landscape very different from the rest of the neighborhood; the margin - space that is divided between a fair during the day and headquarters of sound system parties during the night; and in the streets and squares - on the outskirts of both places. The first entries into the field were due to my personal experiences, which were added to what was experienced with the interlocutors in the production of ethnographic data. To protect everyone involved in the research, places and people had their names hidden or fictionalized. The results of the ethnographic work will be presented in three sections. First, we will address recreational uses, discussing differences in police repression of users based on racial criteria, and how the stereotype of the pothead has historically fallen on blacks and the poor, supporting policies of spatial segregation to this day. Then, we will present the religious uses in a candomblé terreiro in the neighborhood, in which marijuana appears as another ritual element, albeit invisible. The third section will reflect on the unequal difficulties that women in the neighborhood face in seeking health care with medical marijuana, due to a hegemonic morality, and the racism experienced in attempts to access health services.
