The Extractive Reserves (RESEX) Marine aims the protection of non-forest resources such as mangroves, fish, crustaceans and maintaining the livelihoods of artisanal fishing communities. The process of creating a RESEX is accomplished through environmental and socioeconomic studies of communities, however, it is observed that occurs the process of inclusion and exclusion of communities living and shared territory that after the delimitations by the State the inland communities of the protected area started to receive benefits, regulated by Ordinance No. 3 October 2008 by the Ministry of Agrarian Development - MDA, while those located in the surrounding area suffer from the deletion process, depending on the plan studies Management and the ratification of the Board of the unit to be considered users. Based on this problem this paper stresses that through participatory mapping methodology with use of maps in scale and local knowledge of Caratateua fishermen village in the municipality of Bragança, claim that their resource use territory overlap area RESEX Navy Caeté-Taperaçu, confirming that fishermen use a direct way the RESEX resources and therefore should be considered public policy beneficiary communities are offered. Participatory mapping happened through workshops in Caratateua village and with the participation of representatives of the Association of Fishermen of Caratateua village and Cologne Bragança fishing. The maps generated during the workshops went through a digital treatment to be worked in a sofwtare GIS, which were drawn up the final maps that say the fishermen in using the unit. This work will provide input to the debate on the community use of the territory surrounding sustainable use of protected areas as well as give grants to participatory mapping methodology for claim with the territory of common community use.

This study identifies the native plant species used by the inhabitants of Vila dos Pescadores, Caeté-Taperaçu Marine Extractive Reserve, Bragança, Pará, Brazil. By means of semi-structured interviews with 30 inhabitants, a socio-economic profile of the people interviewed was done; useful plant species and their respective usage were recorded. A total of 23 species were cited. Of these, 20 species are native to mangrove or sand dune (restinga) ecosystems. The remaining 3 species are considered "native" by village inhabitants, although they are in fact introduced exotic species. Most of the restinga species are used for food, while most mangrove species are employed in a broad range of usage types, mainly associated with "construction" and "technical applications" categories. The fishing profession was evident in plant species usage, especially for the mangrove species. The Shannon diversity index was high (H'=2.3) due to the large number of reported uses of mangrove species. The results indicate that, due to the great utility of native plant species, the management, use and preservation policies of Marine Extractive Reserves should pay more attention to the exploitation of plant resources, especially those from mangrove forests.

Territórios e territorialidades no extrativismo de caranguejos em Pontinha de Bacuriteua, Bragança, Pará
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-04) OLIVEIRA, Marcelo do Vale; MANESCHY, Maria Cristina Alves
Within mangroves along the Northern Brazilian coast, the extraction of crabs is a major activity, both economically and culturally. Mangroves are public domain areas, but the surrounding communities develop forms of appropriation that control access, in response to the growing markets for crabs in the region and beyond. The article analyses these institutions of property and the resulting conflicts, focusing the village Pontinha de Bacuriteua, in the municipality of Bragança, State of Pará. It is based upon qualitative research with ten skilled professionals. After observations and interviews conducted between 2011 and 2012, the study found the existence of temporary territories of work, at the same time the communities share concepts about free access to mangroves. We suggest more research and public debate with the active participation of the workers on the relationship between local territorialities and the sustainable harvesting of crabs. This is an important issue considering that the area is located within a protected area, the Reserva Extrativista Marinha Caeté-Taperaçu.
