To support this argument, this work makes a connection between the effects of income and the autonomy that rises from it. Besides, it is proposed that, for income to be generated, employment has to be created as well. Various concepts are presented for the historical and theoretical analysis. The link between employment and income is established by means of analysis of the variables collected from field research in Caju-Una, Céu and the Pesqueiro village, the three communities inside the reserve area, the Soure RESEX. Such variables, related to indicators as age, educational level, income and genre, are part of the social-economic profile of the area studied, in wich many social actors coexist. Despite the conflicts caused by the relationship among these actors, it was found an effort to establish points of accordance that facilitate the goal of generating income in the communities, in a way to benefit all actors.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Pescadores da reserva extrativista marinha de Soure: práticas sociais no território(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-08-29) CARDOSO, Maria do Socorro da Conceição; ACEVEDO MARIN, Rosa Elizabeth; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0087693866786684; SÓRIA, Heliana Baía Evelin; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4706853841098034The object of this study are the social practices of the artisanal fishermen inserted in protected areas, especially in the Marine Extractive Reserve of Soure-Pará-Brasil, located east of the city of Soure-Pará-Brasil. This Extractive Reserve is a federal protected area, created through Decree s/n of November 22, 2001, whose governing bodies are the Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação e Biodiversidade – ICMBio and the Associação dos Usuários da Reserva Extrativista Marinha de Soure – ASSUREMAS. Is framed in the Sistema Nacional de Unidades de Conservação – SNUC in the category of sustainable use unit. According ICMBio, this conservation unit comprising all communities and neighborhoods that have Soure users the same: Araruna; Barra Velha; Bom Futuro; Cajuúna, Centro de Soure, Céu, Macaxeira, Matinha, Bairro Novo, Pacoval, Pedral, Pesqueiro, Pua, São Pedro, Tucumanduba and Umirizal. Fieldwork was conducted in the months of May, June, July, and October, 2013 in three communities: Cajuúna, Céu and Pesqueiro, located within the boundaries of this conservation unit. The empirical research aimed to reflect the social reality of Cajuúna community through qualitative and quantitative approach, while the Povoado do Céu and the Vila do Pesqueiro by means of qualitative approach. To identify forest and water resources held survey of the products fishing economy: fish, shrimp, crab and turu; also the one facing the forest products such as coconut, muruci and andiroba seeds, among others. To collect this information, and about health, respectively, 61 (sixty-one) and 20 (twenty) questionnaires were performed and 55 (fifty-five) interviews. It was observed that families living from fishing during harvest and, in the offseason, there redirection to other activities such as construction, carpentry, trade; also make use of government programs. In RESEX Marinha de Soure, despite economic potential, give yourself limitations to ensure economic and social reproduction of extractive. This interdisciplinary study is based on local knowledge of fishermen and proposed the identification of social practices based on their traditional knowledge as well as understanding the social organizations that contribute to the economic and social reproduction of social agents and environmental preservation of this territory. Social practices in the territory of fishermen are seized as proceeds of their activities of mutual cooperation in the use of natural resources and their forms of social organizations, as well as cultural expressions manifested through religious parties, whose rites strengthen social interactions "inside" and "outside" of social units.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Políticas educacionais e desenvolvimento: a experiência da Reserva Extrativista Marinha do Soure, Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2002-12-21) FERREIRA, Lindomal dos Santos; SIMONIAN, Ligia Terezinha Lopes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6620574987436911Extractive reserves (RESEX) have emerged as important strategic alternative livelihoods. Integrated into the theoretical framework of sustainable development they have been presented in an empirical way as ample opportunities for co-existence between man and natural resources in sustainable relationships in order to harmonize the social, economic and ecological impacts of local populations. The aim of this study was to examine the role of education within the proposed development behind the proposal of extractive reserves, in particular the case of RESEX / Soure, verifying the viability of extractive reserves as a development model. The locus of the research was the Marine Extractive Reserve of Soure, Soure municipality, state of Pará was studied a population consisting of 278 families of "drawers of crab" / ACS Soure and 1475 fishermen associated with the Colony Fishing Soure 1/CP-Z- Zone 1. The research technique used was direct observation. And the research instruments used were the daily observation and semi-structured interviews. It was found that local natural resources are very rich, although most are threatened. It was also found that the most significant gathering activities in the areas of RESEX along with fishing is the tiração crab, since they are the guarantee of a more immediate financial income. It was observed that not only level of education of the interviewed population constitutes an obstacle to their development as well as their socio-cultural strategies are not being valued within the local government action, not in the plans of implementing the policy of creating this book CNPT / IBAMA. It was concluded that the absence of a socio-pedagogical process that correlates the social and cultural interests of the extractives is also a political aspect of creating the RESEX Soure but is yet to be conceived and organized with local residents and their organizations in Soure. It is actually talking about it. Anyway to put into question the true interests that move the action of the state and the people residing there.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Subsídios à gestão da Reserva Extrativista Marinha de Soure-Marajó-Pará: uma análise dos problemas e conflitos socioambientais(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-02-16) OLIVEIRA, Angela Maria Santos; MENEZES, Maria de Nazaré Angelo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2943083062747137This work treats about an analysis of the socio-environment problems and conflicts in Extractive Reserve Marinha of Soure – PA. It was realized the socioeconomic profile of handiwork fishermen, which sample is composed of 116 families in the Caju-Una, Céu, Pesqueiro, Barra Velha and Araruna communities, all these located in the RESEX of Soure-PA. It was raised the socio-environment problems of Caju-Una/RESEX/Soure Community from the DRP instrument. The results of search demonstrated that the traditional knowledge about the management of fishing resources contributes to the preservation of the area. The fishermen are characterized by young, elderly and women that complement their incomes related to confection of handicrafts, of bio-jewelry, bolsa- família, civic building and agriculture. The environment problems identified are related to default of sanitary disposition, accumulation of garbage and presence of animals inside of the Caju-Una Community. It was verified still the delicacies in the commercialization of the production, although there is the advantage of the rural funding/credit to these communities. There should be a direction of public policies to preparation of a management plan and bearing the capacity of new enterprises related in products of the local biodiversity, how alternative of source of income, aggregation of value to products of the forest.
