Álbum de leitura de Rachel de Queiroz
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-08-31) SILVA, Joana Angélica de Souza; SALES, Germana Maria Araújo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8723885160615840
In Brazil, in the decades of 1930 to 1960, a novel collection became very popular and consumed by young women from the medium class. These romances were translated and edited by Companhia Editora Nacional (SP), they were sold all over the country with the title Coleção Biblioteca das moças. The collection was composed by 175 volumes and most of them were written by M. Delly (35 volumes). M. Delly was a pseudonym of a couple of French brothers – Fréderic Henri Petitjean de La Rosiére (1870 – 1949) and Jeanne-Marie Henriette Petitjean de La Rosiére (1875-1947). One of the readers of this collection was Rachel de Queiroz (who will be emphasized in this work). Rachel in one of her books called Tantos Anos – Uma biografia, mentions three books from this collection: Corações Inimigos, Freirinha and Mitsi. Rachel, exactly like other thousand of Brazilian readers, found in these books an escape of this sad reality. Knowing the importance that this collection had for the feminine public during the decades of 30 to 60, this work intends to talk about the well succeed relation between the books of this collection and the readers, and wants to recover the image of the empiric writer Rachel de Queiroz.

Necronarrativas em três romances contemporâneos brasileiros
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-07-30) AUTIELLO, Sheila Lopes Maués; RUSSO, Vincenzo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4108882812232683; CASTILO, Luís Heleno Montoril del; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3519128535996125; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2507-5346
This thesis deals with the occurrence of necronarratives in Contemporary Brazilian Literature from the novels Pssica (2015), by Edyr Augusto; Enterre seus mortos (2018), by Ana Paula Maia and A Morte e o Meteoro (2019) by Joca Reiners Terron. The objective is to analyze, from an analytical-comparative approach, how the narratives fictionalize the necropolitical processes of Brazilian society in the last five years. The research proposes the analysis of the novels from three critical axes: the first corresponds to the expendable bodies, which will be based on the concepts of naked life, by Giorgio Agamben (2002) and precarious life, by Judith Butler (2019); the second, concerns the predatory presence of "Gore" businesses, which is based on the studies on "Gore" Capitalism, by Sayak Valencia (2010) and, finally, the third, which relates to the recurrence of the image of the undead or zombie, having as its reading key the studies of Deleuze and Guattari (2010) and Leo Barros (2020). The study focuses on the thematic analysis of the works, despite making brief incursions into other narrative elements. It is concluded that the novels studied are part of a structuring force of Romanesque composition, which aesthetically represents the Brazilian necropolitical processes, which I called necronarrative. Therefore, it is understood that the works analyzed, are part of an excerpt from the Brazilian novel that is concerned with aesthetically problematizing life starting from the necropolitics (MBEMBE, 2018). The characterization of necronarratives occurs, above all, by the representations of the precariousness of contemporary bodies; the emergence of criminal markets that flourish in groups subjected to deadly conditions and the initiation of symbolic processes of social zombification. It is, however, a study that identifies a trend and not a generalization.

This work intends to present and discuss the critique on The hour of the star(1977), (re)evaluating the importance of the novel as Lispector’s legacy. Critical review on academic and media texts referring to the novel is used here. Results: Brazilian media posits the narrative in terms of explicitation vs. introspection, social engagement and aesthetic sublimation; foreign columnists discuss the readability of the novel and its place among great works; academic critique indicates that the novel contests patterns, subverting logic, the idea of narrative completion and authoritarian views.

A superação da tradição mimética em A Rainha dos Cárceres da Grécia, de Osman Lins
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-12-22) TANCREDO, Rogério Alan; FERRAZ, Antônio Máximo von Sohsten Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5982898787473373
In the passage from the 19th to the 20th century, the contemporary narrative suffers a rupture caused by experiments on the works of authors such as Franz Kafka, Marcel Proust, James Joyce and Virginia Woolf. From then on, the novel will never be the same, because the narrative, rather than representing reality in its rich details, now brings to the surface the act of creation and the narrative’s own reality. This work consists in a research project that will say about the revision of the mimetic tradition in the book A Rainha dos Cárceres da Grécia (1976), written by Osman Lins, that focuses the process of writing of a novel dressed as an essay, that is to say, of a novel that focuses on itself; and it has as theoretical basis the thought of Giorgio Agamben with reference to contemporaneity and the Outside’s concept, by Maurice Blanchot, which can help to clarify and understand the transformations he has undergone, as well as the current position of the contemporary novel. For this, we will bring narrators who transformed and innovated the act of narrating to dialogue as the Lins’s narrator, who we believe has pointed to a new trend from the fusion of the romance genre with the essay genre, specifically in the book mentioned above, exploring the multiple possibilities of the creation and writing process.

O voo da criação literária: procura, verdade e ser / ser, verdade e procura em Alvorada de Osman Lins
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013) DOLZANE, Harley Farias; FERRAZ, Antônio Máximo von Sohsten Gomes; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5982898787473373
The research seeks an opening to understand the meaning of the literary imbricated in the mystery of artistic creation from its figurations in Avalvara (1973), by Osman Lins. Amid the interpretation of the novel, it is intended to go through fundamental issues that underlie the conceptual coating established along the literary modernity. In Avalovara, the reader is forwarded to an originating thought that rescues the poetic instance of prose, and designs the artistic on a mythic dimension that is the Language happening in its silence. This is only possible by developing a narrative that no longer represents, but stages issues, performing them in the fabric of its elements. The novel begins to search for meaning to reality, questioning the mimetic tradition - a corollary of essentialist metaphysics and subjectivism - and, in its seek, it is revealed its sense of being, its being-artwork. In this sense, the essential reference between art and truth is revived,. In this reference, the truth is the dynamic re-velation of the real retracting its reality in all that manifests. The artwork corresponds to this dynamic (which is the being of things), them and for them, the work of art and truth, is that the search takes place in Avalovara, step by step, gradually revealing itself in every word. Searching for the truth, man, things between things, can be reintegrated with the reality of being; Abel, the human, the artist, the writer can rejoin the paradise by exercising full love that is in care for things in their silence , the silence of the language that welcomes not only the creative power of literature but also of human existence.
