The survey demonstrated that women in ACBEM are generally in stable unions, most of them users of the Bolsa Família Program-PBF, with low education, with ages ranging between 23 and 65 years old, with an average of 2 and 4 children and that Most of them declared themselves to be “homemakers” or family farmers. It was found that when activities are carried out by women within forest management, they are permeated by resistance.
