Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A arte na sua cotidianidade: uma percepção de arte na Feira do Guamá(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-07-01) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; SOUZA, José Afonso Medeiros; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6045766440369156; SILVA, Joel Cardoso da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6918547599708778This work develops an approach of the art as sociality from a focus on the daily life in the popular Market of the Guamá, Belém, in Brazilian Amazon. Therefore, using a frame of reference centered on Simmel and Meffesoli we start from a comprehensive perspective, watching the market as a "social form". We understand social form like a process resulting from the social construction of meaning that evolves continuously social relations. We figure out to realise how these social relations are produced from shared feelings: a feeling-together, common experiences, feelings, all kinds of emotions of the life, in short, that makes sense when are perceived and lived together. We propose that this feeling-together, here it treated, in the Market of Guamá, conforms social forms, which we identify as part of a process of "transmanência", this way producing an aesthetic and particular art, that results in the established relations in the commonplace of daily life.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Comunidade e eticidade: uma contribuição à aventura sociológica no pensamento de Martin Buber(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-02) GOMES, Jones da Silva; MENDONÇA, Kátia Marly Leite; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5325063796266136Our investigation shall reflect upon the concept of Community in M. Buber, trying to approximate him to a perspective which we can denominate ethicity. Considering his respective contribution: the Dialogy, as the main source of every human relation. In this work, we are going to check specifically the way the author approaches the treme of Community in confrontation with the moden world and its depersonalizing and anonymous forces, above which, there is a homeless individual. In doing so, we are going to avail of the contributions from the classics of sociology such as: Tönnies, Durkheim and Weber. This way, we are going to in a second moment, analyzing the Community in the liquid Modernity from the theoretical orientations of Zigmunt Bauman. In his work, we are going to discern indistinctly the non-viability of community in a society where the individuality and the identity are fluid, and the only forms of existent communities are nothing but solitary communities. Nevertheless, we are going to the point we consider the decisive one in our analysis, reflecting upon the dialogical perspective of community, aiming to open ways to a more anthropological and phenomenological reflection of its concept, and, principally, giving sociology the important contribution of Martin Buber s thoughts. His perspective points to the Community as a means of dialogue, acknowledgment of the other, as well as, realization of the human being in the public space. On this consists our contribution to the sociological adventure concerning the theme of community.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) “ Um conhecido estranho ”: transformações no lugar de morada e nas relações de sociabilidade sob influência da dendeicultura na vila Forquilha, Tomé-Açu/Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-10-30) COSTA, Raquel de Jesus; MOTA, Dalva Maria da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4129724001987611This dissertation deals with the themes of changes in the place of home and sociability between old and new residents, the latter attracted by the possibility of working in oil palm. Thus, the general objective is to analyze the transformations in the place of residence and the sociability relations under the condition of the influx of new residents to work as salaried workers in the oil palm industry in the village Forquilha in Tomé-Açu / PA. It is a case study, using quantitative and qualitative approaches with literature review and secondary data collection. Semi-structured and non-directive interviews were conducted with residents of vila Forquilha, 46 with people who have lived longer (“those from here”) and 51 who recently arrived motivated by wages (“from outside”). Observations were made in the field about people and the place, considering what happened related to the way of living, the sociability relations, the physical structures and the meanings of the place of residence. The main conclusions show that the changes were not only in the structure of the village, but also in the working relationships and sociability between the different groups. There was an expansion in the village area, an increase in population and changes in infrastructure and social organization. The interactions also changed due to the arrival of people to work, mostly young men who migrated more than once in search of wages. As a result, there are three types of social interaction: between residents “from here”; between “outside” residents and; between both residents. It is noticeable an interaction with greater fluidity in the coexistence between the same type of resident, however, between one type and the other it is superficial and sociability becomes more difficult due to differences.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Drag o quê?: sociabilidades, resistências e comunicação no Movimento das Themonhas no NoiteSuja, em Belém(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-30) FERREIRA, Emanuele Corrêa; VIEIRA, Manuela do Corral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1758973354834768; https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2034-5359This essay aimed to understand and analyze how the Drag culture constitutes the experience of the subject and their sociability, specifically in the Demonha’s movement, in the context of the NoiteSuja movement, a network created in Belém that brings together Drag Queens from the local artistic scene, how the Drag constitutes the experience and constructions of these subjects who perform Drag. Apps are part of the context among subjects and technological devices that cover the dimensions of life and its social practices, such as relationships. It notices how the usability of the Grindr app becomes a mediator and facilitator of social bonds so much in body and aesthetic visibilities, as well as related to contents and interests. The analysis of this study is based on the interlocution among Communications Studies and the categories sociability, technology and gender. The field research consisted of 28-day participant observation, between July and August 2019, in which a profile created for this purpose was used on the Grindr app. Interviews were also carried out with a semistructured survey with young men who have ever used Grindr on their mobile devices and looked for experiences with other men. Thus, it was possible to identify how gender issues are present in the experiences of these users and in their social relationships manifested on the app, bringing thoughts about the power relations produced by homophobia and masculinities in a heteronormative society, in which negotiations and social codes cross the subjects' performances and identities.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A festa de São Pedro na Vila de Joanes, Ilha de Marajó, Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-08-26) RAVAGNANI, Luis Ricardo; SILVEIRA, Flávio Leonel Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1972975269922101The Joanes Village is a fishing village in the municipality of Salvaterra, in Marajó Island (PA). Historically it was an indian village and then a religious and military settlement gained importance and prominence in the local economy as a Real Fishing. The town has the historic site PA-JO-46, which consists of the ruins of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and wells of the colonial period marking the changes in time. Fishermen stand out as a craft group recognized and valued in the village for the economy that moves through them and the culture they share. In this work the look was focused on the "Feast of St. Peter" or "party of fishermen", as it constitutes a means of representation and sociability of the group of fishermen. Through ethnographic method tried to describe the different rituals that make up the party and understand the sociability of relations established between organizers and participants. I believe that the party is an important experience in people's lives and social groups and that through it we can understand and explain the various dimensions of society: politics, religion, kinship, work, leisure and economics, like “total social fact” (MAUSS, 1974).Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) "Football suburbano e festivais esportivos": lazer e sociabilidade nos clubes de subúrbio em Belém do Pará (1920-1952)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-04-29) GAUDÊNCIO, Itamar Rogério Pereira; COSTA, Antonio Maurício Dias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2563255308649361This study deals with the analysis of the practice and popularization of football from the suburb of clubs in the city of Belém do Pará, during the years 1920 to 1952. Thus, we map the metropolis from these football clubs in their various neighborhoods in order to analyze the dynamics of sports who built a process of popularization of football. A fact that has its foundations by the amount of football clubs and the experience of individuals who actively participated in the construction of leisure and sports activities in this urban space. The increase in the number of festivals along with the work of the sports press, circulation of various social groups, has provided over the years to build a football popularization process in the city strengthened the sport around the Clube do Remo and Paysandu . However, to raise journalistic sources, I managed to realize that despite the speeches are inherent in the practice of those who write in the newspapers, there was a point in common, which was the practice of football in various places of the city. There were indications that subjects of popular neighborhoods like Jurunas, Sacramenta, Quarry and Telegraph participated even indirectly matches held in the Largo de Sao Braz or Praca Batista Campos. The idea of the thesis involves the study of football that became popular from a set of factors that was also combined with experience of subjects in the clubs of the districts presented by the press during the historical context of the time, as popular or suburban, not only the double Re x Pa.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) As guitarradas paraenses: um olhar sobre música, musicalidade e experiência cultural(Universidade Federal da Bahia, 2012) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deThe article notes the cultural scene built around the “guitarradas”, musical genre of brazilian state of Pará, discussing the socio-cultural and inter-subjective dimension of the phenomenon and realizing how it produces sensible, aesthetic and communicative collective experiences that impacts on the production of identitarian narratives.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) As guitarradas paraenses: um olhar sobre música, musicalidade e experiência cultural(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2012-06) CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca deItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Interações comunicativas de mulheres em prisão domiciliar: entre sociabilidades, aprisionamentos e resistências(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-03-14) PESSOA, Nara Cristina Moura; AMORIM, Célia Regina Trindade Chagas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9650931755253248This research presents the theme "Communicative interactions and women under house arrest: Between sociabilities, imprisonments and resistances". These women, in their great majority, present situations of social vulnerability, have committed crime, have gone through the closed prison system and now face the challenge of returning to "social life." But we can only understand this challenge from the communicative interactions established with the women themselves. For this reason, this research has in its centrality the establishment of communication processes with five women who are serving a sentence under house arrest in Belém do Pará, so that we can understand not only their life histories but also the sociability constructed in spaces of sociability. In this sense, the research problem presents the following question: How are the communicative interactions of women under house arrest in the spaces of sociability in which they are circulated constructed? Thus, it is based on the hypothesis that women in house arrest establish in the spaces of sociability in which there are communicative interactions of constant tensions, experienced between situations of exclusion / stigma and situations of resistance. It is a constant game to survive in an unequal and unjust society. Thus, the theoretical framework that allowed us to reflect on communication and sociability was Freire (1983), Mead (1973), Simmel. In relation to the issue of gender and prison, we have recourse to Davis (2016) and Artur (2011), and to discuss the arrests we anchor in Goffman (2004), Foucault (2011) and Thompson (2002). As for the methodological approach, the communicative-dialogic method used in conversation with the five women accused of having committed a crime was adopted, as well as a formal interview with the judge responsible for the "Begin Again" project, to which they are linked by of work. As result of the research we observe that the established communicative relations are of constant tensions, sometimes the dialogue and the understanding are limited by the stigmas of prey status, or they break with this relation of power that tries to place them in a place of exclusion.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Matando a fome de lazer "Lá no meu Setor": práticas e sociabilidades na periferia de Belém (PA)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2021-10-21) LOBATO, Flavio Henrique Souza; BAHIA, Mirleide Chaar; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6052323981745384; https://orcid.org/0000-0001-7168-2019Historically, through capitalist and eurocentric perspectives, concepts, practices and spaces proper to a hegemonic understanding of leisure have been developed, which legitimized conventional forms of what it would be, how it should be and in which spaces and times the practice of leisure should take place. In several public policies, these conceptions were established as the only possible leisure practices, favoring some people and neglecting many others. Hence, as a social convention, society began to consider leisure practices and spaces as excluding. Therefore, this research aimed to analyze the leisure practices of the Bom Jesus I Community, on the outskirts of Belém (PA), considering the macro and micro contexts of analysis, based on the interaction and sociability processes of local residents. To make this study achievable, from a qualitative approach, bibliographical, documental and field research were used. In an exercise of ethnographic practice, informal conversations, participant observation, semi-structured interviews and records in a field notebook were carried out. The investigation was guided both by an "outsider and long distanced view", considering the structuring processes (macro perspective), as well as an “insider and close-up view" (micro perspective), focused on the "inversions" practiced daily, for the leisure of this population. To “kill the hunger for leisure”, the “discoveries” revealed that over the years different practical alternatives and sociabilities were created from the processes of interaction between local residents. It was also established that, often alienated by hegemonic understandings, this population cannot see or consider their daily experiences as leisure. The conversations, the "crazy rock", the "jogo do bicho" (a brazilian popular game of chance), football and the "picnic" are "forms of entertainment", characterized by very particular dynamics, full of purposes and meanings, which enable this “sector” to have fun, make itself exist and resist day by dayItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Mundo metálico belenense e política cultural: declínio e reorganização do heavy metal paraense (1993-1996)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-12-05) SILVA, Bernard Arthur Silva da; COSTA, Antonio Maurício Dias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2563255308649361This paper seeks to explain why and how the art world and Para underground circuit of Heavy Metal and the actions of its practitioners, after the 3rd Rock 24 Hours between 1993 and 1996, began to enter the transition process, accompanied by declining dispersion and sprawl, the city of Belém, resulting in the gradual decrease of events of Heavy Metal, along with elimination of the presence of metal shows at the Experimental Theatre Waldemar Henrique, Municipal Theatre of São Braz Market, Square Artist / Centur Circus and Republic Square, while setting "a modification of the city‟s metal map" by the emergence of other spaces for concerts, private spaces like Olê-Hello Park Igarapés, Nightclub Rhyno's Nightclub Spectron, Bar, Nightclub slips and Nightclub Insânu, intense stampede of practitioners of development spaces of "metal sociability", reduction in cultural news columns of the leading local newspapers (The Liberal, Diary of Para and the Province of Para), accusatory and prejudicial treatment given to the Heavy Metal and Rock in Pará relation to the 3rd Rock 24 Hours a cultural columns of some paraenses journals (The Liberal and Diary of Para), continued to launch (demo-tapes and albums in vinyl format) metal phonograph records and the gradual and permanent change in state cultural policy facing public spaces used by local Heavy Metal and Rock. It deals with leisure experiences and sociability of residents from suburban neighborhoods from Belém do Pará, in the middle of 20th century, specifically in the districts of Guamá, Condor and Jurunas, the three nearby the Guamá riverside. In addition to the interest on practices and perceptions from residents related to leisure and sociability, is also of interest the activity of public security officers dedicated to the control and repression of practices from local residents related to leisure events and entertainment. The historical sources accessed are newspaper clippings – available in libraries and public archives in Belém – chronicles and memory novels, that yield a version about the city in the past, as well as oral stories of men and women that used to live in the paraense capital in the middle of 20th century and have experienced the effervescence of the urban life in religious feasts, cabarets, Saint John‟s festivities, carnival associations, dance houses, among others.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A população indígena da cidade de Belém, Pará: alguns modos de sociabilidade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-08) PONTE, Laura Arlene Saré XimenesThis paper examines the presence of indigenous populations in the city of Belém, Para, in Brazil, focusing on their motivations for coming to the city, their modes of urban sociality, and more generally on indigenous organizational dynamics in face of the public power and Brazilian society. I present statistical data about the indigenous populations in Belém and present some of the problems they face. Emphasizing the construction of indigenous identity in the urban space, I question to what extent place is determinant for ethnic identity construction, given the fact that public policies for indigenous peoples are not extended to urban populations. I conclude that much work needs to be done in formulating policies regarding indigenous populations who live in urban centers, beginning with questions of ethnic recognition.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) “O que essa gente veio fazer aqui?” migração e sociabilidade da força de trabalho “desqualificada” para Parauapebas-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-08-18) PEREIRA, Raimundo Miguel dos Reis; CHAVES, Andréa Bittencourt Pires; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2807941293114021This is a study of the migration process and sociability of the workforce "disquali-fied" to Pa-rauapebas, Pará state in the Southeast. The proposal is to investigate the affect-ing the sociabi-lity of migrants, such as construction and deconstruction this identity-belecem estrangement in social life. The analysis and research is based on dialétical-history method and the main method is a bibliographic study, secondarily was made some observations and interviews in order to confirm the theoretical statements. Parauapebas is chosen to prove the study because it brings together social and economic characteristics that enabled it to be attractive to migrant work-force. In this sense, we tried to understand the ways in which migration to the Amazon followed right script defined by the mobility of capital throughout history, especially in the 1960s to 2010. The thesis assumes that migration, and affectation the migrant's sociability, is directly linked to economic expansion in the Amazon, which confronted interests of migrant labor and capital. This friction reverberates in the social relations of migrants and members of society, causing estrangement between migrants and recipients inhabitants, and ultimately weaken the sociability of the migrant and change their cultural identity. The most affected are the poorest sectors of migrants who are forced to negotiate with handicaps their participation in the public sphere. So what these people doing here? is the synthesis that incorporates the expression "dis-qualified" to decrease the potential employability of the workforce. This social and cultural instability build blind spots in the otherness of the recipient population, and abrasam conflicts in the troubled urban life of Parauapebas.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Relacionamentos humanos mediados pelo computador: as experiências de intermautas cadastros no site de comunidades UOL K(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-09-02) DINIZ, Caetano da Providência Santos; BARRETTO, André Maurício Lima; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3046718437592588The community web sites have attracted a great number of people. They relate in distance to each other using resources such as the sending of mails and messages. These people also change information among themselves through the auto-description (profile) and the use of images, both free to the internet users public. The experience of having a personal web page in this kind of environment and the opportunity of relating with people through that result on the objective of this research which has been realized based on a qualitative methodology .There have been interviewed 16 internet users of UOL K network that belongs to UOL (online universe) that is considered the main vestibule of content and an access paid-supplier of internet in Brazil as well. The results analysis has pointed the following features: The web site makes possible the establishment of new contacts as well as the maintenance of old contacts. There is a trend to make new contacts. The written language is used such for communication as for a reflection about yourself. The anonymity is favored by the distant communication but it causes distrust of disappointing someone. The exercises are seen as real even they happen in a virtual atmosphere. “Being online” can be pleasant but it does not mean that we have to come off from the offline world. The communities’ membership is frequent and it is based on its common objectives. Thanks to the web sites tools, the use of photo is a link between the synchronous communication (chat) and the asynchronous communication (UOL K).There is an emphasis given to the sexuality and, consequently, the internet users find themselves needed to see and relativize their concepts like close and far, public and private, offline and online. It´s concluded that, even the users don’t use to set face - to –face dates, they are able to relate virtually to each other as a real situation, change affection, state links and keep an online life which communication finds its own way that maybe there will be not another goal except being online.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Os saberes, a tecnologia e sociabilidade no processo de fabricação de farinha de mandioca na comunidade quilombola de Santa Rita de Barreira no município de São Miguel do Guamá-PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018-04) SANTOS, José Ataíde dosItem Acesso aberto (Open Access) Segregação e sociabilidade em áreas residenciais de interesse social: o programa minha casa, minha vida e seu entorno(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-08) LUZ, Diogo Luan Uchôa da; MERCÊS, Simaia do Socorro Sales das; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8905447990410938Segregation and sociability in real estate development of social interest: this dissertation analyses the sociably procedures of the recipients of the Program My Home My Life/Range 1 who live in Residencial Paulo Fonteles II, located at Ananindeua municipality of Pará State, Brazil. It is an ethnographical study that derivates of findings from previous studies in which it was pursued to analyse the implications of popular housing in the form of closed condominium has on the segregation and sociability of the residents related to others in their surrounding area. In this work there are presented analysis on the concepts of segregation and sociability and are also used categories and contributions from authors of Social Anthropology field. In previous researchers it could be observed that, due to many problems, specially those related to security, the condominium residents developed a kind of segregation enforcement. The used methodology included participant observation in Residencial Paulo Fonteles II and its surrounding area, and interviews with the residents in both areas. Popular housing in the form of closed condominium has caused an impact on the Residencial Paulo Fonteles II residents imposing them some restrictions about its expansion beyond the surrounding walls. Partially, such relations derivate the fact of both residents have their own specific different interests. Some of these relations shaped a series of contrary opinions because of they defy the logic of the control of access to the condominium. The unauthorized people entrance is the reason of certain dissatisfaction in many of the condominium residents. Even though difficulties with the surrounding area residents and also the inner ones, the bonds with the earliest residencies have not been broken. And, even considering the segregation enforcement by the walls and entrance control should solve the problems related to security is in discredit, the Residencial Paulo Fonteles II residents keep the opinion that the closed condominium, because it is a segregated environment, it is the most suitable kind of housing to them.
