The present study aims to approach environmental education and understand the perception of the servers of the Pro-Rectory of Development and Personnel Management (PROGEP) of the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) aiming at social and environmental sustainability in the workplace. The investigation is based on a bibliographic, documentary and field survey classified as exploratory and descriptive through case study. Its locus is PROGEP covering 91 technical-administrative servants who work at the Cidade Universitária José da Silveira Netto, Guamá and in the Program of Psychosocial Assistance to the Server (PAPS) at the Institute of Health Sciences, Umarizal, both in Belém. A 28 closed questions questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument based on Normative Rule nbr 10/2012 and 4 thematic axes of the the Environmental Agenda in Public Administration (A3P): Rational Use of Natural Resources and Public Goods, Generated Wastes Management, Quality of Life in the Work Environment and Awareness and Training of Servers. Results show in general a balance between good and bad socio-environmental practices not reaching in each one half of the total responses. The most significant positive results are in the thematic area Rational Use of Natural Resources and Public Goods. The most relevant negative results are presented in the other thematic axes being the most critical Awareness and Training of Servers. Both the Sustainable Logistics Management Plan (PLS) 2018 and the Capacitation Actions Plan (PAC) 2018 of the Institution do not establish training and awareness actions by PROGEP to promote and encourage socioenvironmental sustainability practices aiming at the acquisition of environmental competences in the scope of working, which justifies the negative result related to the thematic axis Sensitization and Training of Servers. This absence goes against with UFPA's strategic objective of promoting socio-environmental responsibility and its principle of preservation of the environment and PROGEP's principles as Quality of Life and Social-Environmental Responsibility. It is proposed to include in the PAC some actions and learning events, socioenvironmental responsibility in PROGEP values and environmental competencies in the performance evaluation of the technical-administrative servers.

Sustentabilidade socioambiental a partir do uso de alternativas locais: o caso da exploração do tucumã (astrocaryum vulgare mart.)

This study discusses the importance of fruit tucuman (Astrocaryum vulgare Mart.) producers in the lives of families, communities Bedside in the city of Curuçá (PA) in the Municipality and Community Pedral Soure (PA) in 2011, a total of 50 interviews. The overall goal the same analysis is summarized in tucumã and its contribution in the composition friendly and the local production and use. The choice of producers was intentional, constituting the identification of sources resource, as well as the characterization of forms of production family economy. This allowed us to understand and develop different types use and benefit of tucumã in these communities, involving some socioeconomic indicators such as age, education, profession and among other. GPS and GIS tools were used to coordinates acquisition and georeferencing of palm trees, beyond calculation of area and production of maps. Products extracted from plant with defined market are used especially for the production of pulp or coconut oil animal, where part of the production is retained for household consumption and sale of hand labor, presents itself as an income essential to sustain the family. In household consumption is also noted the production of wine / juice, fruit marketing, production crafts, the use of the trunk in the construction of housing and shelter, especially for domestic animals. However, the use of plant by family farmers in both the sample areas is in a natural potential of the utmost importance to the sustainability socio within the lot and above all, a source resource renewable natural, which is available for families to explore a low cost, both in terms of physical effort, and economical. Thus, these alternative proposals for improving the trigger framework for exploration and cultivation of tucumã aimed at developing local sustainable in the short, medium and long time.
