Results: The possibility of using the game as a didactic alternative for teachers to teach fractions stands out, improving students learning of the content.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Uma crítica à produção do TDAH e a administração de drogas para crianças(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-09) CRUZ, Bruna de Almeida; LEMOS, Flávia Cristina Silveira; PIANI, Pedro Paulo Freire; BRIGAGÃO, Jacqueline Isaac MachadoThis article aims to analyze the practice of diagnostics in their effects of producing ADHD as a disorder in children in school period and operate a criticism of indiscriminate referrals to psychiatrists the events that are taken as school problems and transformed into abnormalities. Among the effects of this very common practice today, is the exponential growth of prescription drugs, such as amphetamines to children, causing severe problems in their lives, which should be the subject of an ethical, political, and social problematization. Specifically, the more drug administered in this situation has been methylphenidate and in Brazil, it has been widely sold and used in cases assessed as inattention and restlessness. This article is the result of a graduate degree in psychology research, in progress and are presented in this text, partial results of the work.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Funcionamento cognitivo e Cerebral no tdah(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018) MONTEIRO, Carolina Queiroz; GOULART, Paulo Roney Kilpp; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7800966999068746; BOTELHO, Eliã Pinheiro; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6276864906384922; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9682-6530Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most prevalent neurobehavioral disorders in children and adolescents. Its high incidence has awakened the interest of several researchers, mainly in search of its causes. However, despite the efforts, the disorder etiology remains unclear and its diagnosis perseveres eminently in the clinical character. In the perspective of a better understanding of the disorder, the present study sought to investigate cognitive and cerebral functioning in children with ADHD, using electroencephalogram (qEEG) and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children - WISC IV; perform the correlation between the two instruments; and, explore a possible association of this pathology with environmental variables. The participants of this study were divided between the experimental group and the control group, composed of children from 06 to 12 years of age, of both sexes, respectively, with and without the diagnosis of ADHD. The 21-channel EEG was used to record resting neuronal activity, followed by the spectral decomposition of the 4 to 45 Hz frequency bands, divided into the theta, alpha, beta and gamma bands. The cognitive functioning was determined through the WISC IV, which in addition to the total IQ provided information on the following indexes: Verbal Comprehension Index (ICV), Operational Memory Index (IMO), Processing Speed Index (IVP) Perceptual (IOP). Sociodemographic questionnaires were used to collect the variables. The results of this research evidenced that in addition to the experimental group demonstrate a greater relationship with unfavorable psychosocial factors, it also presents lower scores in the WISC-IV and greater amplitudes in the frequencies of neuronal oscillations, studied in relation to the children in the control group. The correlation between qEEG and WISC IV results showed moderate and significant negative correlations of gamma frequency amplitude in both hemispheres with ICV and IVP indices in the control group, but not in the experimental group, as well as moderate negative and significant correlation of the frequency in the left hemisphere and IQ in the same group. The results obtained are in accordance with the majority of data found in the literature. Insofar as this disorder is multicausal, the union of the fields of knowledge offered in this work is important because it enables a more comprehensive understanding of the phenomenon through the association between brain, behavior and cognition.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A rotina e o perfil cognitivo de crianças com e sem transtorno de déficit de atenção e hiperatividade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2020-06-10) MACEDO, Cleidson Felipe Damasceno de; SILVA, Simone Souza da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9044423720257634The objective of this study was evaluate the routine as well as cognitive profile of children with or without Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder diagnosis. 30 children in the experimental group (EG) and 30 children in the control group (CG), between 8 and 12 years old were evaluated. The data was acquired from a health center and public schools in Belém, Pa. The following instruments were used: The clinical and socio-demographic questionnaire; The Occupational Routine inventory was filled out by caregivers and children to describe the Routine; The SNAP IV interview guide was used to track symptoms and; The WISC IVto assess the cognitive profile. The results showed that the average values obtained in Verbal Understanding (ICV), Perceptual Organization (IOP), Processing Speed (IVP) and Total IQ index were statistically equal for both groups. However, GE obtained a lower performance than the GC regarding the Operational Memory Index (IMO). Routine results revealed no statistical differences between two groups. In addition, it was observed that children in both groups spent more time on rest activities, showing higher level of satisfaction, as well as leisure, pointing out these activities as irrelevant. Both groups had difficulty with Homework category, important information to understand the routine of children with ADHD. This study showed important contributions to the literature, having as main findings the similarities concerning the routine and cognitive profile between children with or without the characteristics of disorder. Further studies with larger populations are suggested to improve the understanding concerning this theme.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O TDAH no Brasil e na Espanha: uma comparação transcultural(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016-11-30) HORA, Ana Flávia Lima Teles da; SILVA, Simone Souza da Costa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9044423720257634This PhD thesis aimed to investigate ADHD in Brazil and Spain from the perspective of parents and teachers. This work is divided into three studies: a) Study 1 consisted of a literature review of studies on the prevalence of ADHD in five continents, focusing on the estimates of prevalence; the sampling process; the type of study; diagnostic criteria; and the main variables explored by studies; b) Study 2 compared the perception of mothers in relation to behavior problems listed in the CBCL (Child Behavior Checklist) in two independent clinical samples composed of Brazilian and Spanish children with ADHD diagnosis. The study was exploratory-descriptive, documental, retrospective, cross-sectional, quantitative nature of the medical records treated between 2010 to April 2015 at the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca- Murcia / Spain, and the University Hospital Bettina Ferro de Souza - Belém / Brazil; c) Study 3, compared the teacher’s perspective in relation to behaviour problems in students diagnosed with ADHD. This is a documentary investigation of exploratory-descriptive, retrospective and cross-sectional, in which resorted to analysis of children and adolescents records, especially the TRF (Teacher Report Form) between the years 2013 and 2014 diagnosed with ADHD two clinical psychology units located in Brazil and Spain. The main contribution of this work was to find similar symptoms in two independent samples composed of children and adolescents ADHD diagnosis. The comparison of the two different cultures from the perspective of two informants representing different environments, in this case, mothers who evaluated the behavior in the family environment, and teachers who interpreted the symptoms in the school environment, enriched these findings.
