The research focus especially in the analysis of the rural territorial setting of Mocajuba‟s city, which is located in Baixo-Tocantins region. The mocajubense rural is predominantly peasant. Based in the notion of trajectories, it is intended to study the specificity of the peasant economy, particularly its segment based on the agroextractivism (T2), it sets, under a work intermediation, Mocajuba‟s territory. This ancestral peasantry founded a dynamic linked to structural processes that movements the region‟s economy from a productive logic whose technical domain of the production is given by specific havings, whose management practices presuppose the biome‟s maintenance. This peasant way of life is grounded under identity and territorial relations predetermined and which surpass the physical limits proposed by areas of land regularization. These territorialities fundament the productive and reproductive relations of these agents who operates the biome in a specific manner. Based on this, it is aimed to indicate how much work the agents of the T2 peasant trajectory, use in the territory, illustrating these settings through cartographical representation. Enabling the interaction economy-territory in the understanding of the space, not only as an extension of the actions, but also as quality. It is searched up the understanding of how the interaction is made in an economy based in typical peasant structures of the agroextractivist‟s trajectory T2. This is, how it happens in a marked territory by the productive and reproductive T2 dynamics.

The analytical enterprise of this study is situated in Law 9.985 of July 18, 2000, which constitutes the National System of Conservation Units - SNUC. The area analyzed comprises two conservation units, the village of Treme (Resex Caeté-Taperaçu) and the village of Araí (Resex Araí-Peroba), starting on the discursive analysis of the social conflicts in these communities, on the tension between the traditional discourse of artisanal fishermen and the institutional discourse of government representatives that directly affect the work relations of artisanal fishing. It is assumed that such relations are established by power struggles between knowledge and power, which can not be seen as a natural object, but above all as a dynamic and heterogeneous process in constant transformation, as a discursive practice

The years of the first half of 19th century are marked by the court attempt to fit the provinces in their pattern of civilization and introduce it in the Imperial State. In Grão-Pará, territory unification and empire consolidation had some conflicts caused by Cabana rebellions. Portuguese Empire called marshal Francisco José de Souza Soares d’Andréa to combat cabanos. Among his worries there were issues such as political disputes between local authorities, military restoration, population control and regional economy development, all related to manpower problems and its insufficiency to perform required services in the province. This is how his speeches take measures to control and civilize the population, defending the renewal of habits and encouraging work. On april 25, 1838, president Soares d’Andréa regulate in Grão-Pará the politics of free worker regimentation establishing a provincial constitution called “Corpos de Trabalhadores”. During some time “Corpos de Trabalhadores” came up in the history as an institution which only aimed the rebel population control in Pará, as an entity to stop Cabanos. Mentioned in the beginning by Cabangem students the economic importance of the corporation is still an object of research. Accordingly, the “Corpos de Trabalhadores” has other meanings. Besides a tool with the objective of population control, the corporation was an attempt to bring peace through manpower concentration. It intended men enlist for necessary services to province economic restoration. In marshal Andréa politic project the key was development, reorganization of industry and Grão-Pará market. Besides, the institution was a politic arrangement between Imperial State and the ones who represented important people in the region.

Crise mundial e reestruturação produtiva: algumas questões de ordem teórica
(2004-06) MELLO, Alex Bolonha Fiúza de
The crisis of the accumulation pattern that supported the intensive capitalistic growth since post-war period until the beginning of the seventies has suscitated along the last decades some theoretical efforts to realize/explain the historical/sociological (economical/political) causes present in the root of this process as a whole. This paper aims to raise some questions of more general thoretical order, considering the fact that the new crisis, which is also a crisis of accumulation, occurs in the context of a capitalism organized in a global productive basis, what claims for new theoretical developments and new approachs respect to that has been called “new productive restructuration”.

This thesis has as study object the unemployment between the workers who are submitted to professional qualifications processes. It aims to analyze the relation between the unemployed workers growing and the strong presence of transnational company Vale in the Parauapebas municipality. The research was oriented methodologically by the critical-dialectical method in order to go beyond the appearance of the phenomenon, and apprehend how the international, national and regional trends associated with historical and social reality of the region influence the particularity of unemployment and professional qualifications of Parauapebas. Among the conclusions, are highlighted in the three chapters that: the world trends of work reflect the work precarious process, especially informality, employability and the feminization of labor which are the most characteristics found out in the municipality and contribute to increase in unemployment. Thus, are configured speeches and ideological concepts which provide the capital profitability needs. When verifying the repercussions of precarious process in the Amazon, we see the region functionality to the accumulation capital and, for this, they are Amazon peculiarities. Therefore, it is possible to characterize the interviewees’ profile. It is pointed out as one of the main conclusions which the requirements for entry into the labor market are configured intentionally and to individualize the mechanisms of access and permanence to the labor market, because they potentialize competitiveness through selective criteria and ensure the existence of a reserve army of extremely functional labor to capital expansion.

Eu não sou agente, eu sou polícia: representação social do policial penal

This dissertation aims to analyze the social representations of criminal police officers who work in one of the prison units of the Santa Izabel do Pará Penitentiary Complex, located in the Metropolitan Region of Belém. Based on the Theory of Social Representations - SRT -, it is based on questions about the representations of the identity and work of criminal police officers after Constitutional Amendment No. 104, of 12/04/2019 (EC Nº 104/2019). In the research, a qualitative approach was carried out, with a literature review and the application of semi-structured interviews in loco. After EC Nº 104/2019, the legal changes have repercussions on several factors, such as the identity of the criminal police officer, generating paradoxical sensations, such as empowerment due to the use of firearms and, at the same time, the feeling of insecurity outside the prison context. In addition, they reflect on the relationship with work by maintaining perceptions related to prison officers, such as exhausting and tiring work. Thus, it is concluded that the meanings constructed on identity are different, although the meaning of the work is the same.

“A gente tem uma vida lá fora...”: relações entre gestão de recursos humanos e sociabilidade das pessoas empregadas nos supermercados da Região Metropolitana de Belém
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009-05-04) GONÇALVES, Ida Lenir Maria Pena; MANESCHY, Maria Cristina Alves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5129734199358770
The management of human resources (HR) represents a theorical approach of business management focused on organization of work to its best advantages and, in particular, the involvement of employees in the aims of the company. The management practices focus not only on the work itself, but also in complex way in social interactions occurred in the workplace, as well in the personal life of workers, in accordance with the assumptions and practices of the prevailing style f management. This work demand to know the nature of the correlations between management of human resources and sociability of workers, videlicet, their ability to make and keep various social ties, form the point of view of workers. To reach these aims, was taken as empirical reference four networks supermarkets from the urban region of Belém, Pará. This sector is a great employer, and has been modernized significantly in the last two decades, implementing some procedures in managements of humans resources and remains under strong competition from national and international groups that found in other capitals of the country. The methodology includes systematic observations, document analysis, general interview guide approach and deep-standardized open-ended interview, respectively with three hundred and eighty and fourteen workers, this last ones selected among those in the larger sample. The interviews versed about social and demographic attributes, occupational and career patterns of professional and personal relationship. Covered, too, the perceptions about rules and attitudes into workplace, based on the standards of the service manuals of business. This includes thirty-four items on a scale of Lickert. These items were arranged in factors, two on the management—quality of work (QW) and introjections of organizational standards (OS)—and three on sociability—trust, maintenance and usefulness of relations (UR) at work. The interviewed answered to items, adjusting the degree of their perception of each. These data were submitted to exploratory statistical technique Correspondence Analyses (CA) in order to verify the correlation between the factors of scale and characteristics of respondents. About the correlations between management and sociability, excel in first the work scheme. Long days of work, variables scale. Long daily breaks and the policy of in-service qualification (on the job) absorb nearly the entire time the employee to maintain personal relations and hinder or even extend those trained in the work environment beyond this space. Also hinder invest in studies, another area of sociability, what surprises in a sample whose predominant age range did not exceed thirty years and whose occupation has little chance of career. In this framework of restrictions, the condition of gender and family were relevant, because women, in particular mothers, reported less leisure activities, in little groups and with minimal presence of workmates, compared to men. Furthermore, we found some cases of people which made affective relationships into the workplace, even the coexistence is restricted to the company. Another striking feature was the dependence on family support for the exercise of labor activity and to face the vicissitudes of the labor market. The importance of family ties was reinforced by the long time of residence in the same neighborhood and, in significant proportion, in the same home, in several cases the housing was close or in the same house of parents or parents-in-law, facilitating the mutual aid. Another aspect that stood out the management of human resources was the perceived vagueness in the criteria for professional growth and application of standards, contributing to the existence of conflicts veil. To establish social ties, the employees place a selective trust, expressed in a few people who are confident in the work. It is worth noting here also a small variation between men and women, because men trust more than women in their workmates. The Correspondence Analysis showed sensitive differences of perception on quality of work and introjections of rules among workers with the first record in the labor book and those with previous experience in a formal work. The first notice a more effective control (surveillance) of management and express less agreement with organizational rules, while the others (the second) do not realize the control as the same way and is seen as complying with these rules. These results were interpreted as arising from different previous trajectories, in formal or informal labors, or because it is the first job. Cannot be said that the restrictions on sociability are due exclusively to characteristics of management in this sector, in view the incidence of another factors, as the social-economic condition of the family or the time of employment, on average two years among the respondents, which may have contributed to these results.

This study aims to discuss the long duration of informality in the Amazonian economy from a cultural perspective. The high rates of this phenomenon in Pará (above the national average) point that it can not be studied in the light of a conception that summarizes the economy to the market. In this sense, a qualitative research was conducted, with orientation in the human and social sciences to demonstrate how some cultural dispositions persist through time, while also negotiating with the dynamics of contemporary capitalism. The hypothesis is that these urban workers share the same habitus of what Costa (1994, 2009a, 2009b, 2009c, 2012a, 2012b) called a peasant-caboclo, and that this may be the key to understanding your professional dispositions, especially the temporal ones. It was therefore tried to demonstrate that the work of the street vendor re-enacts in the urban environment what Bourdieu (2009) calls habitus, as a system of durable dispositions and incorporated pre-reflexively. For this work, the most important aspect of the peasant-caboclo habitus shared by today's street workers is a kind of spirit of autonomy that has defied the ruling classes for centuries. These rural workers have historically used their labor force for their own benefit, thus availing of surplus resources that could not be appropriated, at least significantly, by an elite or the state. It was the challenging conditions of the Amazonian rainforest that, for so long, created and maintained this habitus, which even in a position of subalternity, could be imposed in the world of work, even in a dominated position, through a knowledge that coincides with the domain of the environment. In order to understand the extent to which these sediments of the peasant-caboclo are or are not in the camelot, this research carried out 10 interviews in the commercial center of Belém, where the camelô work was approached as a total social phenomenon, according to Mauss's (2003) model. It was reported that street vendors embody contradictory practices. They are revolutionaries as to the forms of use of the public space, and in the desire of "control" of the time and the surplus that they create with the own work, but conservative in the customs. The logic of family reproduction prevails among them, without ceasing to possess an economic rationality that establishes a calculation between time spent and resources earned

This dissertation analyses the identities of social workers at Vale S.A in the Carajas region, as ideological manifestations in context of a capitalist productive restructuring. The analysis‟ central categories were work, as in Marx‟s conception and ideology, as in Gramsci‟s conception. The logic of the capitalism, that leads to the alienation and manipulation of the worker‟s subjectivity, induces professionals to absorb uncritically of the common sense, the representation of the hegemony, which manifest implicity in the language and behaviors of professional. The research‟s subjects were social workers at Vale, working in units located in the Carajas region, southeastern Para, since it is a transnacional firm with strong influence in the Amazon region. Currently, municipalities in the Carajas region have their social, economic and political development linked to the firm‟s activities. The research‟s hypothesis was that the Vale‟s social worker‟s identities, in a productive restructuring context, are topsy-turvy identities that contribute to mystifying and reductionist practices, that reproduce capitalistic interests. The empirical research used a time-frame from 2007 to the present days. The results showed that in their professional exercise, Vale‟s social workers experience the inevitable contradictions, both of Vale‟s implementations in the region and those related with the development of Social Work, which contributes more to strengthen a capitalistic hegemony than to strengthen the ethical-political-professional project of the Social Work. The analysis of the correlation of forces present in this professional workspace, constitutes, not only, a objective of discussion and reflection on the challenges involved but also of the objective possibilities that can be identified imbedded in the discourses of the social workers.

Interações rural-urbano: a sociobiodiversidade e o trabalho em portos, feiras e mercados de Belém, Pará
(2013-06) SILVA, Iraneide Souza; CASTRO, Edna Maria Ramos de
Many species that represent Amazonian sociobiodiversity, in addition to their ecological role, also exert an impact on the economy by means of their various usages — alimentary, therapeutic, ornamental or for handicraft — and reflect the productive potential of the islands of the municipality of Belém and other parts of the State of Pará. The promotion of those products boosts the activities in the marts, wharves and marketplaces studied — the Ver-o-Peso Complex, Porto do Açaí, Porto da Palha, the Jurunas Supply Complex and the Icoaraci Riverbank Mart — and insere the reproduction of rural social groups and informal urban workers, who number over a thousand individuals directly involved in their trade, organized either singly or in families, and mostly earning a monthly income of one to three times the minimum wage. It is essential to consider the riverine waterfront of Belém as a place of interaction between the rural and the urban, so as to allow for a critical analysis of the forms of appropriation of the city, or social production and reproduction of the work system, the actors involved and the benefits of sociobiodiversity.

    Marx e o imperativo da mais-valia
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-02-26) SILVA, Christiane Pimentel e; NASCIMENTO, Nádia Socorro Fialho; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0757907626776627
The work of Karl Marx is an organic complex whose central category iswork. The study founds and establishes a social mediations that refer beyond itself, in a continuous development that drives humanity to a omnilateral development, that is, in all its dimensions, a development that covers all the real needs of human beings. The development of the complex of relations generated by the work, known as the productive forces, was exponentially amplified by the method of production of capital, however, the capital decouples the worker of his means of production, so that the development of productive forces does not reflect the development of the properties are truly human. This is because the capital has as sociometabolic need to accumulate and expand uninterrupted, a phenomenon only reached with the extraction of surplus labor of workers, which is the extension of the duration of the journey of a single work process, an excessive expenditure workforce, a farm worker, called surplus value. It is this movement that generates a surplus on the original amount invested by the capitalist amending the sphere of circulation the greatness of its value. The surplus labor and surplus labor which produces surplus value is an imperative or an imposition objective of capital, without which there is continuity in the capitalist cycle of production. The production of wealth, under the regime of capital, always reveals its pair, the production of absolute misery for the overwhelming majority of humanity. While the relations of production are mediated by the imperative of extraction of surplus value, capital resists and contradicts all the arguments about a "humane capitalism", because the added value is the essence of exploitation, domination and opulence of capital at the expense of the worker. So there will only be a real satisfaction of human needs to overcome the added value that ensures the recovery of capital, this means that if the capital is imperative for the constant appropriation of surplus value, it is imperative for humanity's emancipation capital, this means a radical transcendence of the hierarchical division of labor and complete overcoming of all relations of capital.
