Os trabalhos de limpeza de seu joãozinho: um olhar sobre a pajelança cabloca

This article delas with the subject of popular religiosit and thows na interpretative look to the “pajelança cabocla” paacticed by the shaman oh the Jurussca quilomnbola community. The Jurussaca community is a rural community that is located ten kilometers fron the seat of Tracuateua/PA vity, in the Easten Amazon, which integrates the Bragantina region. The lands of Jurussaca community are defined as “black and Indian lands” (SILVA, 20114, p. 16), as a result of its formation process. In the community of Jurussaca it is possible to observe the manifestation of different religiosities, that are: the official Catholicism (accepted and by the Catholic Church), popular Catholicism (in which there are inserted the “pajelança cabocla” and the religious parties by some community residents) and Evangelical church. The settings of religiosities in the community be understood based on the symbolic capital that is inherent to it, since the religious field consists of a complex system of beliefs rules, techniques, knowledge, history, hierarchy (BOURDIEU, 2002).
