Historically, women carry out agricultural and extractive activities in the Brazilian Amazon, but their importance is still not recognized, making access to specific rights and benefits difficult. This work aimed to promote the inclusion and social valorization of women in productive and economic activities related to forest management to contribute to the local development of communities located in the Verde para Semper Extractive Reserve, municipality of Porto de Moz, in the state of Pará. research was carried out from 2021 to 2022 and characterized the profile of women involved in Community Forest Management in the communities belonging to the Community Association of Belém de Porto De Moz – ACBEM of RESEX and analyzed the organization of women in the communities in which they are inserted to identify factors that limit their participation in activities related to Community Forest Management and promote the technical training necessary to carry out forest management and training to value women's work in forestry activities. The survey demonstrated that women in ACBEM are generally in stable unions, most of them users of the Bolsa Família Program-PBF, with low education, with ages ranging between 23 and 65 years old, with an average of 2 and 4 children and that Most of them declared themselves to be “homemakers” or family farmers. It was found that when activities are carried out by women within forest management, they are permeated by resistance. The research resulted in the development of technical material to support women's work organizations in activities related to community forestry management and technical material for forestry activities.
