Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A formação do professor de educação física no Pará: o que revela a história do currículo do curso de educação física da Universidade Estadual do Pará?(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-08-07) TREPTOW, Anahy Garcia; ROCHA, Genylton Odilon Rêgo da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3735617515418666This research has the aim of analyzing the history of the curriculum of the teachers graduation course on Physical Education at the Federal University in Pará, from 1970 to 2007. It was used, as a method of work, the documentary research based on the analysis of the regiments, curricular matrices, and Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) of the Federal University of Pará, and the resolutions of the Federal Council of Education n 69/1969, that determined the minimum curriculum, created the Physical Education‟s Major, and kept the sporting technician; the Resolution CFE n 3/87, that preconized the Major degree and/or BA; the Resolution CNE/CES n 7/2004, that instituted the Curricular Policies for the Graduation Courses in Physical Education; the Resolution n1/2002, that deals with the Curricular Policies for the courses of Elementary School Teachers (superior level, major degree); the Resolution n 2/2002, that institutes the length of the Major Courses in Elementary School Teaching. It was verified that the course, by its curriculum, can be conceived in two different moments: the first one, before the PPP of 1999, was a sportive conception course and build a professional profile similar to the profile of a sportive technician, non-critical, non-historical; and the second moment, just after the PPP of 1999, the course acquired a brand new conception, directly connected to teaching, expressed in the pedagogical work of different fields, enhancing a professional profile that is broad, generalist, humanist, critical and reflexive, based on ethical, political, and pedagogical principles, on the basis of the scientific rigour.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Concepções de ciência dos professores da área da saúde e as dinâmicas curriculares de formação profissional da Universidade do Estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06-26) RAIOL, Alessandra Nepomuceno; PAIXÃO, Carlos Jorge; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5926523492011056This paper investigates the concepts of science of the teachers and the curriculum dynamics of professional training in health of the University of Pará State. It is an epistemological study, i.e., it performs a critical study of science regarding it as product and process, in order to analyze critically the injunctions of scientific knowledge to society. The problem is summarized in the question: How do the professors' conceptions of science interfere with the new dynamics of vocational training curricula in health? It is a qualitative descriptive research, relies on Gamboa Paradigm, construction template of knowledge for educational research and is based on the materialist dialectic that guides their synthesis in the movement of the struggle of opposites in the context of society. The methodological procedures used were bibliographical and documentary research. To this end, we anchor our studies of science in theoretical as Bachelard (1996), Thomas Kuhn (1998), Japiassú (2006), Boaventura de Souza Santos (1998) and Edgar Morin (2002, 2010). Regarding the curriculum studies, we rely on the contributions of Thomas Tadeu (2005) and Goodson (2012), which point new outlets, advances and possibilities for the school and the curriculum, as these fields of knowledge are interwoven with epistemology and the historical-social context, besides Moreira; Silva (2006) and Sancristán (2000) students of curriculum theory and its relation to culture, politics and ideology. And we still use curricular authors who discuss the issue in health such as Maia (2014), Mattos (2004, 2011), among others. As a result, we identified that the Cartesian paradigm permeates the concept of science of the teachers. However they realize the existence of the new paradigm of complexity and completeness, both in the context of science as in the context of health education. This coexistence of paradigms hinders how teachers understand the concepts related to the profession restructuring, while providing recognize the new curriculum dynamics as possibility to contribute to training more in line with the needs of society, then a professional more critical of its performance and its context. An education that integrates science, culture and technology. Finally, as factors that may contribute to the understanding, and for the teachers involvement in these dynamics, we noted the continuous assessment, the continuing education guided by discussions of epistemology and the new science paradigms as essential elements to the teaching practice, the collective construction of Pedagogical Project, the institutional support, the overcoming of simplistic visions and the teaching individualism.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Conhecimento sobre o lazer na formação de professores de educação física: um olhar sobre os cursos superiores das Universidades Públicas em Belém/PA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2012-02-13) MONTENEGRO, Gustavo Maneschy; MOREIRA, Wagner Wey; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5798244047692726The aim of this research is to analyse the knowledge about leisure developed on physical education courses in Belém city Pará State. We adopted as an epistemological reference the presupposed present in complexity theory, by Edgar Morin. Talking about leisure we used as main references the productions of authors as Marcellino, Isayama e Gomes. To answer to the goal, we did a field research in which we elected as in as investigation locus the University of Pará State – UEPA and the Federal University of Pará – UFPA. The discussion of the research data was done by analysing the ementas and the teaching plans of subjects which talk about the leisure theme in curriculums of the graduations. This stage was followed of a semi-structured in terview with students of the last semester form each instituition. The produced speeches were analysed based on technical elaboration and analyse of units of meaning (MOREIRA, SIMÕES, PORTO, 2006). As results, we noted that UEPA enphasysed themes such as: leisure and public policies; sociohistoric focus of leisure; leisure and social right. At UFPA, we evidenced that the subject follow didactic-methodological orientation, but it does not develop a formation that limit itself to the intention of minister technical knowledge aplicated to leisure. While the interviews, we identified that the majority of the students do not get the knowledge debated by the subjects themselves. Which ones showed having a “funtionalist” understanding of leisure. That fact reveals a distance between the reports of majority of students and the proposal of formation developed by instituitions concerning to leisure.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) As dificuldades relacionadas à aprendizagem do conceito de vetor à luz da teoria dos registros de representação semiótica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-10-15) PATRÍCIO, Rafael Silva; SILVEIRA, Marisa Rosâni Abreu da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3588315106445865This work was developed in order to contribute to teaching and Analytic Geometry for learning in higher education. To accomplish this we rely on the theoretical framework of Raymond Duval - With the theory of the semiotic representation registers - in classes exhibitions, classroom activities and the exploration of a greater number of Vector representations of mathematical object. Our goal was to identify and analyze the difficulties in production and processing representations of the vectors that characterize the learning of loopholes concept of that object. The research subjects were students of a in Mathematics at the University of Pará - UEPA, Regional Center of the Lower Tocantins - NURBAT located in Moju - PA. The research was divided into stages, where at first, the group witnessed lectures focused on the study of vectors, exploiting the various representations of the object as well as basic operations, the second stage the resolution list of exercises (activities 1 and 2), with questions taken from the discipline and recommended reading individual assessment. Finally the analysis of the resolutions made by subjects. The instruments of data collection included questions of representation of vector algebra in the records, and figural language natural as well as conversions between these records. After analyzing resolutions, they were grouped by categories including: confusion between point coordinates and vector coordinates, difficulty in application of the rule of the parallelogram, difficulty in identifying vectors equal and records involving the conversion between geometric registration. By final aim of the tests where students feel more difficulties according to the peculiarities of the resolutions presented and they also suggest the possibility of continuing the research on it object.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A dimensão afetiva nas representações sociais de docentes da pós-graduação em educação(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2014-02-24) RODRIGUES, Sônia Eli Cabral; NASCIMENTO, Ivany Pinto; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6649004854958284This study addresses the affective dimension in the social representations of teachers of postgraduate education, specifically the teaching of the Graduate Programs in Education at the Federal University of Pará and the University of the State of Pará The objective of this investigation was to examine the constitutive processes of social representations of teachers on PPGEDs of affection, to elucidate the implications in their work. It is a study focused on psychosocial processes, ways of knowing, know and feel the resulting constructions and shared among teachers acquisitions, from interactions with others in their work context. The theoretical approach we have adopted the Theory of Social Representations of Serge Moscovici (1978) referenced in the procedural approach developed by Jodelet (2001) and collaborators. About affectivity in embasamos the assumptions of Freud and Wallon, they conceive affection as an essential dimension of human development, which is from the affections and affective relations, subject to feelings of ambivalence. Affect and are affected by love, hate, envy, joy, pleasure, loneliness, fear, fraternity. It is a qualitative and quantitative research that sought to understand the senses and meanings attributed by the teachers surveyed. The instruments for data collection were: an online application form and interview deepening. The characterization of the participating teachers PPGEDs and issues related to affection and teaching work were analyzed using SPSS software, and the information from the interviews were subjected to content analysis according to Bardin (1977), Franco (2003) and Birth (2002). From the thematic analysis of the speech of the teachers found the existence of three dimensions that organize the RS group studied, namely: cognitive, ethical and political, relational and affective. These two central dimensions structure trends objectivations and anchors the representations of teachers of PPGED UFPA and UEPA on affectivity. The first indicates a strong tendency to reframe the social representations of teachers in affectivity. These images reveal senses and settled on sharing, dialogue, respect for teachers among themselves . The second trend indicates that social representations of teachers are anchored in the rationalization of psychosocial processes on affectivity, ie, the reified universe. In this trend, the subgroups of interest from their opinions, beliefs and ideologies prevails. These two trends imply distinct affective relationships in their work in postgraduate education. We find that the dynamics surrounding the affective dimension in relations between teachers in graduate programs in education contributes to the maintenance and / or renewal of the social representations shared and communicated these academic contexts.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A formação de professores para a educação de jovens e adultos no Baixo Tocantins(2011-12) COSTA, Renato Pinheiro daThis paper discusses the Youth and Adult Education [YAEd] teaching modality considering the theoretical, research and structuring approaches to the undergraduate program in Education (Pedagogy Course). It also examines the construction of a thematic to subsidize teachers’ education for Youth and Adult Education by addressing questions relative to the understanding of the relations between the study and the theoretical and methodological assumptions about teachers’ education such as: what are the theoretical grounds of YAEd, and how does its management structure look like within the Brazilian educational system? When/how does Youth and Adult Education take place? What does it entice? What project does it offer to formal education? Does teachers’ training for Youth and Adult Education take into consideration the social, economic, political, and cultural realities of students? How should teachers’ education for YAEd be provided within the Amazonian reality? Therefore, the debate proceeds based upon theoretical contributions to the YAEd teaching modality and within the context of the State University of Pará Pedagogy Course in order to identify the importance and the need of addressing regional and local issues in the processes related to teachers’ education for Youth and Adult Education.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A formação profissional em educação física no Pará e a aspiração discente(2011-12) GORDO, Margarida do Espírito Santo Cunha; MOREIRA, Wagner WeyThis article has the objective of recognizing the identity of Physical Education professionals that is being built in Physical Education undergraduate Programs, in the state of Pará, and whether these Programs will meet their students’ aspirations. The Political-Pedagogical Projects effective in the State University of Pará (UEPA) and in the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) – campus Belém and campus Castanhal - were analyzed; interviews were conducted with students attending the last semester of the Physical Education Program. As for the analysis of data gathered thereby, content analyzis techniques were adopted (according to MOREIRA; SIMÕES; PORTO, 2005), mainly to identify the aspirations of students. The study allowed to conclude that the Political-Pedagogical Projects relative to Physical Education Programs in the state of Pará establish the acquisition only of a full degree in Teaching, that for 100% of the students interviewed the attended course does not meet their expectations regardind professional training in the area, and that the official discourse reveal the fragility of professional identity in Physical Education in the State of Pará; it allowed as well to draw attention to the need that this training process be reviewed.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Identidades musicais no Curso de Licenciatura em Música da Universidade do Estado do Pará: uma composição em acordes dissonantes(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011) BRAGA, Lívia Alexandra Negrão; COSTA, Antonio Maurício Dias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2563255308649361This study aims at interpreting the different musical routes taken by the Music Course students of the Universidade do Estado do Para- UEPA. The ethnographic work allowed me to observe three profiles which stand out in the Course: the erudite musician, the gospel musician and the popular musician. From the categories cultural identity, musical identity, diversity and carrier, I sought to understand how these musical identities interact and compound the singularity of a Course whose purpose is to form musical educators. The study is presented in three parts: the first one deals with the dense description of the Music Course, the students, the professor/researcher and the role the disciplines Cultura Popular and Música e Sociedade - taught by me- played considering the elaboration of the problem. The second part begins with a theoretical approach related to the construction of socialization networks among musicians and it also describes the profile of each group, the erudite, the gospel and the popular, according to the way they present themselves in the researched context. The interaction between these three groups is the object of the third part. From the perspective of musical diversity – musical preference and identities and cultural diversity – I point out the identities.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O currículo em uma classe hospitalar: estudo de caso no albergue pavilhão São José da Santa Casa de Misericórdia do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006-10-25) OLANDA, Osterlina Fátima Jucá; ROCHA, Genylton Odilon Rêgo da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/3735617515418666This research purpose to investigate the curricular dynamics implanted by Popular Nucleus of Education Paulo Freire (PNE) of Universidade do Estado do Pará (UEPA), in the hospitalar context, specifically, in the São José Pavillion, by relation which other and which knowledge in the day-byday of the pedagogic relation, by teachers interpretation to curriculum, by alterations of significations and of the knowledges that add, realy, to inclusion and to pedagogic action in hospitalars environments. The theoretical basis that validate this investigation are directioned to aspects of knowledge and construction of curriculum and its particularities, more directly, to practice of curriculum in the day-by-day. By curricular reality of São José Pavillion we can know the curriculum used and interpreted by teachers in this hospitalar class and how this propose is materialized while curricular dynamics. We work with qualitative approach that participate the patient-students that are attended by São José Pavillion of Saint House of Mercy of Pará in the period from 2004 to june 2005. The levy of basis had these supports: the interview with two teachers and the teaching project Coordinator; the analysis of Teaching Project of PNE. The main results point with respect to the necessity of valuation of this educative action front to the health professionals and parents, so that the pupil-patients understand it as way for its pertaining to school cycles; for the courses of Formation of Professors to review the time of the educative action for the principle of the concurrence of events, for the teaching collective allotment, the orientation of resumes in several disciplines and magnifying of the popular culture; for the group form of debate of the contents articulated in classroom, to increase relative the act to study, since this proposal has the pretension to offer to the pupil-patients the access to the school; to search interaction strategies it enters the professionals of health and education; e to investigate this curricular dynamics of more systematic and constant form to develop the educative process in hospital environment.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) A precarização do trabalho docente da eduação superior: um estudo sobre a contratação temporária de docentes no Universidade do Estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-10-14) TAVARES, André Luis dos Santos; MAUÉS, Olgaíses Cabral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0118802077232494The temporary hiring of teachers, at Universidade do Estado do Pará (UEPA), is characterised by its broad political and economic dimension evidenced in transformations of the world of work and in the meaning of the categories work and teaching work. In the case of the University, it has to do with structural changes of the Brazilian Higher Education, with the crises of global capitalism, with the strategies undertaken by Neoliberals Governments and with the measures that are being taken by the Administration Top of UEPA. Temporary hiring increased in flexibility and devaluation of wages, labor rights, working conditions and the isolation of these workers in direct participation in the production of material and immaterial work of academic, scientific and technological knowledge, further constribue to precarization of the teaching job and enables UEPA as a reference institution in the State of Pará in public higher education quality, free and socially referenced. The overall objective was to analyze the hiring of temporary teachers in UEPA, considering the different courses and its location on campus , under different types of hiring that make worse the teaching job. The specific objectives were to identify changes in the role of the State and its influences on teaching work through State and reforms of higher education; describe the meaning of category teaching work; present the positions of teachers and teaching movement regarding the real conditions of work through temporary hiring in UEPA. The discursive and analytical case of study with qualitative methodological approach characterizes the route chosen. Data collection took place through literature review, the application of questionnaires, interviews and documentary analysis. It was noted that there is the recognition of temporary teachers and UEPA SINDUEPA direction that temporary hiring is a perverse way. Because precarization restricts, divides and compromises the quality of academic work and hinders mobilization, organization and the fight of the category; that intensifies job production and makes that the subjects understand insecurity as a result of the political actions of Governments, States and institutions which adopt neoliberal measures and cause decrease of institutional responsibilities that generate loss of labor rights, unemployment/underemployment and structural flexibility of services.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Programa de interiorização do curso de formação de professores para pré-Escolar e 1ª a 4ª série do ensino fundamental da Universidade do Estado do Pará em meio às políticas de formação de professores (as)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-04-27) ALBUQUERQUE, Jacirene Vasconcelos de; MAUÉS, Olgaíses Cabral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0118802077232494Study of the relation between the Programa de Interiorização do Curso de Formação de Professores para Pré-Escolar e 1ª a 4ª Série do Ensino Fundamental, da UEPA and the official politics for formation of teachers unchained in Brazil, from 1999 up to 2004. The objective is to analyze the politics for formation of the teachers in interior of the state developed by Universidade do Estado do Pará (UEPA) in such Program, and its relation with the official politics for formation of teachers implemented in Brazil to start from the decade of 1990. The initial hypothesis was that the politics for formation of the teachers adopted by the UEPA, in the related Program, favored the magnifying of the formative market in the state of Pará and, by this, caused a race of teachers and city halls to that institution, for the accomplishment of processes of qualification in superior level. To evidence this hypothesis, it was made an inquiry of the problem, guided for estimated of the qualitative boarding. To collect the data, it was carried through a bibliographical research, having as source specialized and documentary literature; in the field research, I made interviews with the pupils, teachers, managers and the secretaries of education of the cities taken care for the program. For analysis of the data, it was used the criterion of thematic classification, to perceive and to identify the information revealed in the statements of the contents. The analysis of the data confirmed the relation between the Programa de Interiorização do CFP and the official politics for formation of the teachers, especially, when the State gave up the responsibility for this formation in superior level, by becoming the education a not-exclusive activity of the State. This action favored the magnifying of the formative market in Pará. The UEPA, without support of the State Government, offers such Program contracting rendering educational services.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trabalho, intensificação e o tempo livre do docente da Universidade do Estado do Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017-11-27) FONSECA, Zaira Valeska Dantas da; MAUÉS, Olgaíses Cabral; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0118802077232494The need for an analysis of the ways in which the higher education teacher suffers the consequences of the changes in the work process and how they affect their working time and not work are essential for the knowledge about the current reality of teaching work in this work. level of education. Thus, this study investigated: What relations exist between federal and state public policies, work and free time of the teacher who works at UEPA? Based on the Historical-Dialectical Materialism, this study aimed to analyze the repercussions of public educational policies on the work of UEPA teachers, identifying the possible interferences that these may have in the free time of this professional. Field research as a technique was carried out with the application of a semi-structured questionnaire, containing thirty-six questions, organized in order to obtain data on the teachers' functional profile, aspects of the UEPA's teaching work and on the activities carried out in time free from teachers. In the first stage - exploratory - the bibliographic survey was carried out as a way of mapping the existing production in the area about the conceptual categories. The analysis of the university documents correspond to the organization and evaluation of the teaching work and the distribution of the working day (time) at present. The subjects were the effective teachers of the University of the State of Pará, who met the criteria of having at least five years of work in the HEI; experience with research and / or extension and be in full teaching activity during the realization of the research At the center of the discussion was placed the capitalist mode of production and how it modifies the work transforming it into alienated work. It was sought to point the issue of time by highlighting its historicity. It deals, conceptually, with the category of free time and the close relationship with the work in the sense of not reinforcing the dichotomy caused by the capitalist mode of production that opposes the work / free time. It deals with the historical constitution of teaching work the main changes and consequences for teaching work in higher education, such as loss of autonomy, intensification, precarization and commodification. This confirms the initial hypothesis of this study in which it affirms that teachers no longer control the working time, extrapolating the workload assigned to it, leaving it in other spheres and spaces of social life, such as home, the weekends and even the holidays (regulated leisure time). The work rate increased and the control of the teaching worker by the institution where it operates became greater, as a result, free time is usurped gradually from the teacher, making this little use of other activities of free choice. Therefore this study is a contribution to the debate and analyzes of the intensification of the teaching work, the extension of the working time (time), the impact of this process on the quality and quantity of free time of the teacher, with the perspective of provoking the necessary changes in the career of the higher magisterium in order to meet the historical demands of this category, as well as to provoke reflections about the exacerbated academic productivism and its consequences for the loss of social rights, such as health and leisure.
