Based on the Theory of Social Representations - SRT -, it is based on questions about the representations of the identity and work of criminal police officers after Constitutional Amendment No. 104, of 12/04/2019 (EC Nº 104/2019). In the research, a qualitative approach was carried out, with a literature review and the application of semi-structured interviews in loco. After EC Nº 104/2019, the legal changes have repercussions on several factors, such as the identity of the criminal police officer, generating paradoxical sensations, such as empowerment due to the use of firearms and, at the same time, the feeling of insecurity outside the prison context. In addition, they reflect on the relationship with work by maintaining perceptions related to prison officers, such as exhausting and tiring work. Thus, it is concluded that the meanings constructed on identity are different, although the meaning of the work is the same.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) O mundo do trabalho e suas implicações no currículo da formação continuada de professores(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015-06) FERNANDES, Roseane ReisThis theoretical study addresses the influence of the ! eory of Human Capital in the schedules and curricula of teacher continuing education, to defend the school’s responsibility to reassemble new model of education, whose teaching form students who meet and adapt, excessively, economic transformations, technologies, political and social contemporaneity. The starting point is the case study of the Santo Ezequiel Moreno community, located in the interior of the municipality of Portel / PA, in the 1970s and 1980s. The methodology involved the presentation of the method of analysis and exposure, the importance of the qualitative approach, the methodological procedures for the exposure of the object and the techniques used in the research. In the discussion of the results we can see the coexistence of capitalist labor relations in non-capitalist territories. These relations depended on the mediation of social individuals who were willing to trade commodities. Still in the synthesis and discussion of the results we defend that the social reproduction of the residents of the community, in the decades of 1970/80, therefore, depended on the realization of products of the work in the exchange for money through atypical labor relations to capitalism. The conclusions reveal that labor relations involved the exploitation of the labor force in self-employed forms and the production of surplus value. These determinations appear in the exposition of research as a starting point for capitalist production on atypical bases.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sob a lei do cão: o trabalho escravo nos principais ciclos econômicos da Amazônia(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2019-06) MORAES, Francisco Américo MartinsThis study proposes to investigate and understand better how the introduction of slave labor and its consequent exploration of colonialist mentality in the Amazon occurred, as well as the interrelationship between the political, religious and economic processes, since the end of the Iberian Union, in the context of the main economic cycles, such as the extraction of drugs from the hinterland, passing through the gold in the region of Guaporeana (now belonging to Rondônia) and, later, for the voracity of industrial capital in the two rubber cycles late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and finally during the decisive years of World War II (1942-1945).Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Os trabalhadores da Ciência: a crise da ação coletiva dos docentes da UFPA(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2022-05-05) FARIAS, Silvio Kanner Pereira; SCHMITZ, Heribert; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2294519993210835This work refers to collective action fild of studies, more especiclally about trade unionism organization.
