A notícia entre jornalismo e comunicação estratégica: reflexões teórico-metodológicas
(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2022-06) SAMPAIO, Claudiane de Oliveira Carvalho
This article proposes to present theoretical-methodological notes for the analysis of the news built on the relationship between journalism and strategic communication. Discourse Analysis (AD) of socio-discursive, hermeneutic (H) and communication theories is articulated in order to encompass the established communicative contracts, the construction of the effect of a sense of truth, the criteria and values mobilized. In this direction, the article is composed of three parts. At first, the news is presented as discourse, a narrative fabric that articulates “to make known” and “to make seduce” (Charaudeau, 2012). The second part is dedicated to the construction of news that takes place on the border, at the intersections between journalism and strategic communication. Finally, there is a brief survey of challenges and perspectives instituted in the contemporaneity of the news construction in focus. The text understands the news as a socio-discursive production, crossed by the actors in the scene, purpose and purpose of the communicative contract and communicational ambience.

The purpose of the text is to present the general lines of an epistemological and also a methodological proposal for the debate on images, considered affective expressions of indignation, conviction and desire. It seeks to examine photographs of the artistic and photojournalistic regimes as allegories of the suffering and resistance of the Amazonian peoples, with the intention of discussing how these images manage and give visible and sensitive expression to experiences of suffering, to physiognomies of historical time, to survivals of the desire and political subjectivations. This proposal starts from the experimentalism of knowledge through allegories, rehearsing the theoretical-methodological productivity of the benjaminian allegorical episteme in the legibility of the images and tensioning the forms, correspondences, temporalities and conventions in the examination of images that offer an apprehension of history as an anachrony of sufferings and fights. The background to this approach is the inextricable link between image and politics.

This article is the result of a research that sought to understand the communicative practices of the Ebserh Ombudsman Network, from the perspective of the triad manifestation of Ombudsman, satisfaction survey and access to information, in the perspective that they can be analyzed in the context of organizational communication. From an understanding of the social network as the construction of relational bonds between individuals and a qualitative methodology, a bibliographic research was used; documentary research on current legislation; participant observation; quiz; and interview. It was concluded that communication in the ombudsman's offices can be guided and standardized, and a Communication Model in the Ombudsman's Office is produced, with two actions: a training proposal and a guide with general guidelines for communicative practices in the Ombudsman's Office.

When we think of culture as the social fabric that identifies us, it brings us closer and makes us feel belonging to a group, place and space in society, we reflect: what is the Amazon? And what cultural marks are present in the voices of those who speak to it? Our purpose in proposing this reflection is to analyze the mobilizing elements that construct the cultural sense of the Amazon in the encounter between the television and literary languages. That is, taking the word as an ethical act, action on the world and the other. As a scope of analysis, we selected the literary novel Dois Irmãos, adapted by Rede Globo de Televisão, in a miniseries and screened in January, 2017. Milton Hatoum's work narrates the family plot of the Lebanese descendants in Manaus in the first half of the twentieth century. We reflect that the television language, when narratively adapting the literary text, potentiates a dialogism and a polyphony of social voices, in the necessary relation of any expression with other expressions, recreating the verbal text and visually materializing the cultural elements of possible interpretation of the Amazon. That is, in narrative analysis the river becomes the metaphor of human existence, as streams of life that indicate, at the same time, serenity and current, tension and restlessness. The river represents memory and cultural construction.

Cultura, sensibilidade e comunicação intersensorial: as festas das aparelhagens no Estado do Pará
(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2021-06) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de; CASTRO, Fábio Fonseca de; COSTA, Hans Cleyton Passos da
The article proposes to think about the Festas de Aparelhagem (sound system parties), traditional festive events in the state of Pará, based on its technological dimension and thus, as dynamics of creation, production and sensory reverberation. Based on an ethnographic research and reflecting on the importance of the technological devices present in the sound systems, we seek to understand the intersensory communication present in these events and, in the same way, the meanings of culture and intersubjectivity. Along this path, the relationship between communication, culture, technology and sensoriality is discussed using Le Breton (2016a; 2016b), Laplantine (2017) and Anonimizado (2018). Miller (2008; 1998) and Gonçalves (2007) are also used to reflect on the material culture produced around the technological artifacts of parties and Anonimizado (2020) to debate the issue of intersensory communication.

Temporalidades liminares e liminoides.
This article summarizes the results of an ethnography carried out at the “bailes da saudade” in Belém, Pará. It seeks to reflect on the musical sensitivity and the devices and devices for the production of temporality in the urban culture of that city. We relate ethnography and phenomenology in an attempt to understand cultural phenomena related to this sensitivity, identifying its nostalgic components through an analytical category: the semiotical blues. In the perspective of this perspective, an attempt is made to understand the relationship between music, temporality and emotion using Heidegger's (2012) reflections on daily temporality, Derrida (1972; 1994) on the question of the “metaphysics of presence” Schutz (1967; 2012 ), on the intersubjective processes that make up culture.

Comprando na feira: experienciando a carne do mundo. Etnografia e comunicação intersensorial
(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2020-06) CASTRO, Marina Ramos Neves de
Our aim, with this work, is to discuss the relationship between intersensory communication in shaping of the taste experienced at the fair in Guamá. Our work is based on a sensory ethnography (PINK, 2010; 2009 [2017]) carried out between August 2011 and August 2017. We use the phenomenology of Gadamer (1976) and Merleau-Ponty (1945) as a theoretical-methodological procedure, seeking to establish a fusion between ethnographic reflection and reduction, or phenomenological description, in order to excavate the senses of sensory interactions at starting from the communication processes of the senses of the body and produced through it in the ways of interacting at the fair in Guamá and, from then on, in the conformation of the taste experienced there. In other words, we try to understand how taste at the fair is produced from the cognitive processes perceived by the body and, at the same time, produced by the senses within the interactions produced there, generating communication processes and, thus, participating in the engendering and societies or social forms (SIMMEL, 1983, 2006; 2013) generated there.

We analyze how the discursive political representation of councilors is configured in a communicational environment in which they enjoy relative autonomy for production and publication, Facebook. Specifically, we will investigate the videos posted on the profiles and personal fan pages of city councilors (2017/2020) in the two main capitals of the North of the country: Belem and Manaus. As a theoretical foundation, we resort to the discussion on political representation, in particular, the discursive one. From a methodological point of view, the corpus is composed of 210 videos that were systematized through content analysis and analyzed from three categories linked to discursive political representation: how do they speak? how often? what are they talking about? The results point out tensions related to the demands of women's representation and the themes defended by the councilors, as well as shedding light on the aspects of format and language from which they seek to interact in that communicational environment.

The article analyzes the publicity promise offered by the consumer culture, highlighting the mediatization process of indigenous populations through the documentary “Os warriors of the forest”, which shows the sustainable experience of Huni-Kuin in Acre, of Paeter-Suruí in Rondônia, and the Yanomami in Amazonas as a form of resistance in the fight against the invasion of their lands. The communication process based on visuality and visibility is evidenced, which allows the presentation of the culture of these populations in a spectacular way, driven by the discourse of sustainability that guides, to a large extent, environmental activism and new sociability in media spaces.

The article aims to observe memories on homosexuals in Folha do Norte newspaper at the beginning of the first two decades of the 20th century in Belém, Pará. The study takes into account both a historical and an exploratory perspective, as mention of homosexuality in media is not so new and discourses about the homosexual are inscribed in a network of memories of which media are a constitutive part, as they allow us to access such network, partially or not. James Green’s takes on homosexuality are our theoretical framework, which highlights Carnival as a typical time for news about the presence of homosexuals in the streets. We observed 57 issues of Folha do Norte in the February 1901 and 1911, within which we found four texts that dealt with the theme, becoming part of our corpus analysis. Folha’s utterances on the social settings present nature-like scenarios to address a presence of homosexual and homoerotic practices.

This work is based on an ethnography accomplished at a fair in Belém, between 2011 and 2018. We seek to move in the field of dialogue between Communication and Anthropology, exploring the proposition a "sensorial ethnography" (PINK, 2009; 2010) and the discussion on sharing of the sensitive one made by Laplantine (2007); Caune (2014) and Le Breton (2016a, 2016b, 2017) to understand the social forms (SIMMEL, 2013) of the taste in the researched space. In the work we highlight the implications of the sensorial experiences experienced in making the fair through the interactions experienced there; as these build a certain aesthetic, a certain way of being-together that reverberates in the everyday life of doing the fair.

In this article, we present reflections about consumer practices developed by cyberconsumers from the way they interact with (and from) ciberpublicity on social networks on the Internet, specifically on Facebook. A brief theoretical approach on the concepts of cyberpublicity and the role of cyberconsumers, we describe the methodological course that helped us in the analysis of interactions and in the identification of cultural and media consumption practices that we call interagent tagging and reactive symbolic interaction.

This article problematizes the meanings and interactions of social subjects, following the route of the former Belém-Bragança Railroad (EFB), deactivated by the military government in 1965. The train, as a means of communication, instigates us to reflect on the relations, clusters and cities that have emerged from their travels and displacements, as well as the family nuclei that formed near the railroad. The memorable narratives about this railroad will serve as an initial symbolic map to problematize the relations between communication, culture and identities in the paraense Amazon. Books, photos, maps, blogs and videos are clues to search for traces of the Bragança train and its passengers through their narratives. One can perceive how these texts produce in time the totality of this experience that has crossed lives in times dated as an event remembered in search of self-construction from the collective memory.

This article describes an ethnographic research with the support of ethnomethodology held on a market in the city of Belém, Pará in two periods: the first one with nine months in 2011-12 and the other one with six months in 2015. Observing the communicational and cultural processes present in the social interactions present in this market, we try to describe the typifications (Schutz, 1967) that conforms intersubjectivity of social subjects who attend there. Along the way, we describes and discusses these typifications as social forms (Simmel, 1999; Simmel, 2006) of a banal everyday life (Heidegger, 1976, Heidegger, 1985; Heidegger 1992) and we seek to reflect on these typifications through Heidegger's notion of iddle talk (Gerede), understood as communication and cultural process accustomed to the banality of everyday life.

Práticas discursivas na Amazônia: a disputa jornalística no plebiscito no Pará
(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2016-06) NUNES, Paulo Jorge Martins; BRAGA, Thaís Luciana Corrêa; AQUINO, Evelyn Cristina Ferreira de
The article aims to identify and understand the belenense discursive practices about the plebiscite in Pará, in 2011, from the newspapers O Liberal and Diário do Pará. Discourse is taken as a singular communicative event that involves social actors in a specific environment. Journalism, as an act of the social word, inscribes the self and the other in situations of co-presence and mutual affectation. The communicational nature, proposed by Vera França, was adopted as a theoretical-methodological stance. The Critical Discourse Studies, proposed by Van Dijk, was used as data collection technique. The results indicated that the two newspapers built discourses contrary to the Pará division. O Liberal evidenced the market interest and political positioning according to the state government, treating Carajás and Tapajós as outsiders. Diário do Pará adopted an eminently political stance, in accordance with the interests of the RBA Group.

Cultura e consumo: programas telerreligiosos e a percepção de jovens católicos e assembleianos
(Associação Nacional dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Comunicação, 2016-06) MALCHER, Maria Ataide; RODRIGUES, Ronaldo de Oliveira
In this article are presented data from observation of consumption processes and audience of religious TV programs from Catholic Churches (IC) and one of the Evangelic Churches network from Brazil called Assemblies of God (AD) by young people living in Breves-Marajó, Pará. Based on an observation schedule, we identified and analyzed strategies of commercials in programs aired on open TV of Catholic Churches (TV Nazaré and Canção Nova) and the Assembly of God churches of Brás and Victory in Christ, from the perception of young catholics and assemblies. While the Catholic Church explores the usage of advertisements in a more cadenced way on their TV programming, AD shows this feature as their main strategy within religious TV programs. Finally, we observed that the consumption practices institutionalized by the church and the consumption processes can not be understood in an isolated perspective and without considering the mediations involved in the daily life of the investigated group.

After the perception of a constant use of a communicational dimension of fashion in the researches that composes the fashion studies, mainly in the US and Europe, we propose to reflect on how some contemporary developments in the communication field contributes to stress some processes on the fashion studies. Especially because of a common preoccupation with the interactional/relational dimension on the two fields. Along with the presentation of our propose of interface, we dedicate to the analysis of the costumes used by the Pará’s singer Gaby Amarantos, due to point how this interface perspective applies to the study of empirical cases.

This paper is guided by the following question: what is the circulation (BRAGA, 2012a) of the discussions from the COMPÓS’ Communication Epistemology Working Group in the training of master degree students in the North, considering the Group as one of the most important environments to update the discussions on this subject in Brazil? Our first focus was to identify the circulation of texts and authors who are members of the Group in the references of dissertations already defended in PPGCOM-UFPA and PPGCCOM-UFAM. We found the citation of some authors from the Group, specially some older texts, which shows a lag of discussions on theories in the North. With this research, we also realize the great presence of other texts about Communication Theories. Therefore, in a second step, we add to the discussion our empirical experiences from classroom in PPGCOM-UFPA, because we find that this still is one of the main environments to circulate such knowledge in the North.

This article proposes a reflection about the way that communicative interactions are established among young people living in Murutucu island, Belém PA, belonging to a territory with practices marked by the articulation between the urban and the rural. The island is close to Belém - just 9 km -, and local young people live there in a continuous displacement between rural and urban, a factor that puts them in contact with different realities. This study enabled the data mapping related to the experience of living in the island, as well for the displacement to Belém. Moreover it allowed the characterization of the use of smartphone and the internet by young people of Murutucu. In the field research, questionnaires were used, targeted to 10 young people, in order to identify the young islanders profile.
