Dissertação (Mestrado em Filosofia) - Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas, Universidade Federal do Pará, Belém, 2026. Disponível em: . Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18271This work focuses on the possibility of music being seen as a universal language in Friedrich Nietzsche’s The Birth of Tragedy, based on the influences of Arthur Schopenhauer and Richard Wagner's metaphysical conception of music. In fact, this research is based on elements of Nietzsche's thinking related to the concepts of language and music, as well as the way they are addressed in the aforementioned work. The methodological approach used is bibliographic research, with an analytical-interpretative procedure, which allows for the critical interpretation of philosophical texts and an understanding of their original meaning and conceptual implications. Thus, this work aims to analyze the work, based on experts in this field, with the purpose of demonstrating that music can express feelings and rekindle instincts, as proposed by Nietzsche. The expected result is to reveal the importance of music for the transformation of life as a universal language, through the antithetical drive of tragic art: the Apollonian and the Dionysian in Nietzsche.Acesso AbertoArteMúsicaLinguagemNietzscheSchopenhauerWagnerArtMusicLanguageMúsica como linguagem universal no nascimento da Tragédia de Friedrich NietzscheDissertaçãoCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::FILOSOFIAESTÉTICA, ÉTICA E FILOSOFIA POLÍTICAFILOSOFIA
