This goal can only be achieved through expansion of the Brazilian energy production, given the correlation between energy production and economic growth. The expansion of the Brazilian energy production and the huge investment in the construction of the Belo Monte Hydropower Plant is essential to the levels of energy required by the major productive sectors.
