Based on the analysis of the Multi-Year Plans (PPAs) of the state of Pará between 1992 and 2016, it was found that, initially, most of the resources were allocated to the implementation of basic infrastructure, such as strengthening the distribution of electricity and improving the transportation sector. Subsequently, it was found that economic investments predominantly prioritized the agricultural and extractive sectors.
