To accomplish this, the eastern Amazon was divided into four distinct regions: region A (northeast), region B (southeast), region C (southwest), D region (northwest), where, with the use of satellite images, the FORTRACC application and data technical CMORPH were selected events and calculated eccentricity, size, lifetime, preferred time of emergence of SCMC's rainfall volume and precipitated. The results showed that regions A and D concentrated 66% of the occurrence of SCMC's, which are more often during the rainy season. The preferred time of forming system suffers vary according to the characteristics of the local surface. In the coastal region (region A), the systems tend to form in the middle of the afternoon, with peak in the early evening. In the more remote regions of the coastline and topography high, as the region D, the SCMC's tend to form in the late afternoon with peak at dawn. However, the common factor found in all regions was the preference for transition zones between vegetation and cleared areas for the occurrence of the systems, especially along the region of the Arc of Deforestation. The volume heavy rainfall and strong winds caused by SCMC in interaction with the physical problems of urbanized surface yield a series of environmental damage, among which the most common are: destelhamentos homes, flooding streets and homes and traffic problems.Acesso AbertoPrecipitação (Meteorologia)Sistemas convectivos de mesoescala circularAmazônia orientalEstudo da convecção de mesoescala em diferentes superfícies na Amazônia OrientalDissertaçãoCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::GEOCIENCIASINTERAÇÃO CLIMA, SOCIEDADE E AMBIENTECLIMA E DINÂMICA SOCIOAMBIENTAL NA AMAZÔNIA
