People with ASD often have difficulty performing daily living skills (DLS) independently, due to characteristic aspects of the diagnostic condition, and it is the responsibility of the Occupational Therapist to operate with these performance capabilities during the teaching of DLS. In view of this, the present study aimed to develop and evaluate the application of a training package to teach the implementation of DLS teaching procedures to four undergraduate students from the Occupational Therapy program. The design used was multiple probe, in which the independent variable was the exposure of the participants to a package composed of: a) Conceptual Training (CT) which consisted of the presentation of instructional videos with content involving procedures for teaching DLS; and b) Practical Training through Video Modeling (VM) that instructed the implementation of the procedures taught in the TC to teach two DLS. The dependent variables were the percentage of correct answers (a) in the conceptual tests and, (b) in the integrity of DLS teaching. The results obtained, point to the effectiveness of the package used, considering the initial performance of the participants, which was between 0% and 7.7% in the integrity of the implementation of DLS training and that after going through all the training stages, they achieved over 80% accuracy, including in the generalization phase. The total training time varied from 47 to 78 minutes among the participants. The total training time ranged from 51 to 57 minutes among the participants. Considering the average training time in the present study compared to that of other training programs, the efficiency of this training package can also be observed, due to the lower time cost involved. These results further support the use of VM in professional training, as it is a tool that not only promotes performance acquisition but also ensures a reduction in training cost and duration.Acesso AbertoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Treino de profissionaisHabilidades de vida diáriaVideomodelaçãoStaff trainingDaily living skillsVideomodelingTreinamento de profissionais via Videomodelação para o ensino de Habilidades de Vida DiáriaStaff training via Videomodeling for teaching Daily Living SkillsDissertaçãoCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::PSICOLOGIAAnálise Experimental do ComportamentoECOETOLOGIAPSICOLOGIA EXPERIMENTAL
