The Jurussaca community is a rural community that is located ten kilometers fron the seat of Tracuateua/PA vity, in the Easten Amazon, which integrates the Bragantina region. The lands of Jurussaca community are defined as “black and Indian lands” (SILVA, 20114, p. 16), as a result of its formation process. In the community of Jurussaca it is possible to observe the manifestation of different religiosities, that are: the official Catholicism (accepted and by the Catholic Church), popular Catholicism (in which there are inserted the “pajelança cabocla” and the religious parties by some community residents) and Evangelical church.
