The time frame adopted begins with the artist's arrival in the country, in 1935, until the year of his death in 1965. Using images as the main documentation, especially the paintings painted by the artist, the work takes into account the motivations of the painter, but also of those who financed them. With the support of literature and newspapers of the time, in addition to documentation from public authorities, there is monitoring of the reception of Georges Wambach's works, his interplay of interests, his relationships and the tensions developed throughout his career in Brazil and , especially in the Amazon.
