Few recent studies have been dedicated to understanding how stimulus and testing variables in the CCT can influence the chromaticity discrimination thresholds obtained. This research sought to evaluate the effects of stimulus exposure time (1 and 3 seconds) and target shape (Landolt's C and Square) on chromatic discrimination thresholds. For that, it used a CCT trivector testing protocol with two complementary chromaticities per chromatic vector. Twelve adult humans aged between 18 and 34 years (mean = 25.1 ± 5 years) with normal or corrected to logMAR 0.0 visual acuity and normal color vision were tested. Data collection took place on two different days. Data sets were evaluated for normality using the Shapiro-Wilk test. For comparisons between groups and within subjects, the Mann-Whitney U test was used. Results indicated that there was no significant difference between the exposure time conditions and part of the target shape conditions.
