Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18084This study investigated the effects of a conceptual training, consisting of narrated instructional videos, on the learning of the fundamental principles of Behavior Analysis (BA) necessary for understanding contingency analysis by education professionals. Five professionals from the public school system participated, with different levels of education and experience, and without prior in-depth knowledge of BA. A pre-test/post-test experimental design with follow-up was used. The independent variable was a video-based training, and the dependent variable was the participants’ performance on tests composed of multiple examples. The results indicated an increase in the number of correct responses for all participants after the training, with maintenance of performance 30 days later, compared to the pre-test.
