Studies on the efficacy of specialized ABA team training procedures are relevant in view of the increasing incidence of the disorder and the individualization of the intervention. This thesis brings together two studies on the effects of a training package that combines video self-monitoring and an instructional checklist on implementation integrity of behavior analytical procedures. Study 1 evaluated the effects of an instructional checklist on staff’s integrity on the implementation of DTT (Discrete Trail Teaching). In Study 2, an instructional checklist was used to teach a less structured and previously untrained procedure, social pairing. In both studies, feedback from the experimenter was delivered only during remediation phase, allowing an analysis of the effect of the checklist application as the main treatment variable. The results indicated that video self-monitoring guided by the completion of an instructional checklist was effective in maintaining integrity and in teaching new skills to participants. Only three of the eight participants in both studies required a feedback session to achieve the prescribed levels of accuracy.
