Acesso em:.2526-9518https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/13720This study aimed to identify the skills needed for effective performance of community health workers in the municipalities of Bragança (PA) and Capanema (PA). This is a research with qualitative approach and descriptive study. Data were collected in two Family Health Units, through a questionnaire to eight ACS in each municipality. The results show that the skills most mobilized by ACS are: to achieve the integration of local health staff with the population, health promotion, prevention and monitoring specific morbidities and groups.
