Despite the significant increase in cases in Brazil, with the State of Pará ranking as the 8th most violent in the country, the literature still presents gaps regarding the characteristics of the perpetrators. In this context, this study aimed to profile the biopsychosocial characteristics of domestic violence perpetrators among intimate partners, using data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN) between 2018 and 2022. The results indicated that the perpetrators in Pará are mostly adult men, whose actions are embedded in a patriarchal context that naturalizes gender inequalities. There was a predominance of physical and psychological violence, frequently associated with alcohol consumption as a potentiation factor for aggression.
