Therefore, analyzing the right to the city for people with disabilities involves understanding the complexity of the dynamics of living in places poorly adapted to the diversity that exists among bodies, and reflecting broadly on how these bodies move through the city of Belém do Pará. In doing so, it is necessary to understand how the social markers of difference connect and demarcate life trajectories in a city whose urban and riverside appeal also constructs experiences and narratives specific to disability. I, as a researcher and a woman with a disability, discuss this work through an autoethnographic approach, highlighting important aspects of the subjectivity of writing that involve academic, political, and activist work, also occurring in dialogue with other interlocutors. I bring the discussion of care from a feminist and anti-ableist perspective, which involves considering it as a central aspect and a right of the State to provide policies for our segment.
