The research contextualizes the historical land occupation in the Amazon and the role of the Judiciary in overseeing notarial and land registration acts. The study is based on Provisions No. 13/2006-CJCI and No. 002/2010-CJCI of the Court of Justice of the State of Pará, which mandated the blocking and subsequent cancellation of rural property registrations that did not comply with constitutional limits. The methodology combines qualitative and quantitative analysis, using data from judicial processes, land registry records, and official land databases. The results indicate that, despite the large number of canceled registrations, the number of requalifications remains low, highlighting difficulties in land regularization. Additionally, the data reveal failures in the integration of territorial information systems and challenges in land governance, which affect efforts to combat land grabbing.
