Acesso em: .https://repositorio.ufpa.br/handle/2011/18278The research aims to describe the history involving the process of formation, self-recog-nition, and titling of the communities that comprise the Quilombola Territory of Jambu-açu, highlighting the importance of this history for the blacks who live in the remaining communities of local quilombo, highlighting the concerns on the part of the quilombolas regarding the threat of destruction of their identity and roots left by their ancestors by enterprises that invade the territory, in addition to detailing the conflicts between the qui-lombolas and the invading companies. From this perspective, the work proposes to des-cribe the process of formation of the territory from the beginning, in its entirety, alluding to how the first blacks came to the region, the formation of the first communities, the process of self-definition and titling, clashes with authorities and capital projects aimed at invading land, and the positioning of the state. It also addresses a historical analysis of the concepts attributed to the term “quilombo” and how Brazilian legislation deals with the territorial issues of these groups, considering the varied situations of territorial occu-pation of quilombola territories in the current context.Acesso AbertoHistóriaTerritórioIdentidadeEmpreendimentosConflitosHistoryTerritoryIdentityEnterpriseConflictTerritório quilombola de Jambuaçu, Moju-PA: histórico, invasão de empreendimentos e conflitosDissertaçãoCNPQ::CIENCIAS HUMANAS::ANTROPOLOGIAAÇÕES PÚBLICA E COLETIVA, TERRITÓRIO E AMBIENTEANTROPOLOGIA
