It starts from the concept of trace, used by Derrida (1967, 1995) to refer to the pre-ontological character of all meaning and aims on an interpretation of that concept by Ricoeur (1985), in his phenomenological understanding of the problem of temporality. With that in mind, we try to think intersubjectivity and the meaning of the debate about the “cohesion to life” in Dilthey (1992a; 1992b), through the trace. We built the idea that the space-time experience, on the media culture and, through them, on the contemporary society, has no reference and is guided by the trace: atopic and achronic, it is also anarchivic.
