She is a professor eme ritus at PUC-SP and a retired full professor at USP. She is currently a full professor at the Graduate Program in Communication and Semiotics at PUC-SP and leader of the Space- -Visuality / Communication-Culture Resear ch Group (ESPACC). His study interests are focused on the epistemology of communica tion in its possible thematic interfaces with culture, semiotics, architecture, the city and design.
