Reconstructing the author’s dialogues with Nunes, we seek to understand the peculiarities of his interpretive approach in relation to three thinkers with whom his work permanently dialogues, Heidegger, Gadamer and Ricoeur. It is understood that Nunes’ approach seeks to overcome some impasses in contemporary hermeneutics through the Heideggerian problematic of co-referentiality between foundation and abyss, a theme present in the general issue of ontic-ontological conflict, understanding foundation as the fondamenta tion of the being in the entity and abyss as the being as such.
