Acesso em:.https://repositorio.ufpa.br/jspui/handle/2011/17742This work represents a pedagogical experiment that aims to facilitate the teaching of environmental sciences in basic education, using concepts of mineralogy, as well as the origin, use, application of these mineral resources. The data collection for this research was carried out in the Municipality of Marituba, in Belém-Pará, using the Dom Calábria Municipal School as a model, in order to develop a route for a mineral trail for teaching environmental sciences based on observations and analysis of materials natural resources that occur in and around the school, using stone construction materials that can be described as highlights and study points on the mineral trail route, highlighting the regional context of geodiversity, in which the school is inserted. Thus, in the educational mineral trail itinerary, basic concepts of regional geology are presented, highlighting rocks and minerals that are used on the mineral trail.
